It's sad that Jules Dervaes has decided to go corporate and is trying to usurp and trademark names for a movement he did not start. What is worse is that through his hubris and arrogance misuse of the trademark system he has disrupted the lives of many true homesteaders who were doing - and will continue to do - the right things for the right reasons. Sadder still is that in his mind he believes some god has approved and sanctioned this misguided course of action.

Dervaes Family: I am sure you had no idea your trademark pursuits would garner the type of attention you are now experiencing. Rather than digging a deeper hole and leaving fewer ways to gracefully resolve this maelstrom, please stop digging. There may yet be hope to "unring" the bell and find a way to begin rebuilding your credibility and rejoining the homestead movement.
