  • Perfect !!!

  • Kenny rogers brings back the times when I was in my early 20s..I wasn't sure where I was going or where I had been..Where I had found my 1st true love....Kenny rogers is magnificent to say the least.

  • This song brings back many memories as I was just 2 years out of high school.

Such wonderful music that quite frankly today doesn't exist...Feel blessed to live in the 70s and 80s where music had passion.

  • i just love this song it reminds me of what Warren and i are

  • Kenny touches the cardio here!

  • amazing early production from David Foster

  • You've got that right!! This was about the time I began playing drums. The huge, larger than life drums, and snare drum sound that was five feet deep used to captivate me. I have an original LP from when it came out.

  • Actually, today's so-called 'country' hardlly has any country instrumentation in it, anymore, right, gang? God bless!

  • i had this 45 in 1983! ;) always liked this song! great guitar solo from Steve Lukather of Toto.

  • Beautiful Kenny!!!!

  • This song takes me back in Spring 1983 when I became the new Morning drive DJ @ Defiance, Ohio's Big 1280 WONW. I would read the 6am 'Buckeye News' and this would usually be the first song I would play in the Morning. I would play it a few hours later too. I cranked up the headphones and enjoyed for 3:55. Thanks Kenny for a hell of a record. David in Lincoln, Nebraska.

  • I hadn't heard this since 1983 and am SO glad I'm rediscovering it. I just LOVE it!!! Thanks so much for posting this!!!

  • amazing just amazing but where do i download this song, i cant find it anywhere

  • Hit #2 AC, #13 country, #37 pop in Billboard. God bless!

  • @DaveWollenberg back when country was genuine, not like the stupid hillbilly, redneck crap that's out today!!

  • @DaveWollenberg This was played this past weekend on a replay of Casey Kasem's AT40 from June 11, 1983. It was in its second and last week in the Top 40 at #37.

  • @Superbook4Eva Sure did get to hear it. I'm a fan of both the '70s, and '80s versions of AT40. God bless ya. Have a great rest of the week!

  • @DaveWollenberg You too Dave. Great to meet fellow chart enthusiasts on here. :)
