Just because we could 'go in for the kill' doesn't mean we have to. I'm sure Richard Dawkins knew he could have, but then he doesn't want to get that sort of reputation so that no one will want to be interviewed by him. They are after all a guest on the documentary. Sounds like a great DVD!

True, one of the things that many atheists are accused of is intolerance and trying to convert. By going "in for the kill" I thinks we can put people off. Bearing in mind how gentle Dawkins actually is and he gets criticised for his passion as being over the top.

I remember Rabbi Glock and his complete ignorance of what science is. Didn't stop him dismissing science as if he did though.
