  • Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich...you gotta love it.

  • The best ever

  • 4 people were victims of lobotomies.

  • lollllll

  • Only Stan Laurel could wash an anchor chain and make it look like he`s wringing water out of it.....LOL.

  • Laurel & Hardy Rocks Man. Even If It Is A 1993 or 1974 Show It Will Always Be My Favorite Show In The World!! Thankx

  • @alisonhero 1993 or 1974?..lol,,,these films were made in the 1930's my friend and they are still class..better than any of the shit you see on the t.v these days....

    LEGENDS!.:o)

  • yeah twice two was when they played their own wives but I also loved the flim Brats where Stan & Olly played their own sons ........ :)

  • 4 PC nutters didn't like it because there are no black actors featured.

  • Love this one. It's just the redicilousness of it. Stan is washing an anchor! Then he tries to wring out the chain. I mean. It's so utterly dumb it's hillarious.

L&H are easily the greatest comedy double act in history.

  • hahaha come in:D

  • Pure comic genius like no other.

  • how can anyone dislike this??

  • Very funny a must

  • Hi! does somebody know how the title of the movie is in which Laurel & Hardy play their own wifes? thanks:)

  • @MoscerinoGonzalez

Hi the movie short (two reeler from 1933) is called Twice Two...

  • @MoscerinoGonzalez Maybe our relations?

  • @jamesanddaddy yeah quite right in my opinion if u don't like a video you shouldn't vote

  • Laurel and Hardy are amazing they inspired me to make a slapstick movie for my FMP at college last yr, it's om my channel and called Decorating Disaster. 1:11 makes me lol, lol I got all the episodes on DVD now.

  • great fun! check out our contemporary version of these guys with Bob and Rob at oldfartschannel. You will enjoy it!

  • Why the hell is their ship full of water?!

  • @Alcohenjas

To find the leaks in it.

It's quite logical captain - well, to Laurel and Hardy it is.

  • these two are still amazing.

  • /watch?v=ok5CA8CGoIg

  • why is he washing an anchor?

  • @MrJudas666666

    why not? : )

  • This is TRUE comedy, not the trash that is on television today!

  • @LaurelHardyLady1

There is the scene in another episode where Stan ends up in a barrel of water outside that guest house in mid winter, snow and ice and all that, and they get thrown out due to their pet dog, and Stan actually drinks the whole barrel of water, and is like a balloon, bigger than Ollie, and Stan and Ollie panic, because Stan looks like he is about to explode...

That is another memorable episode, oh yes!

  • @closertofiftythanyew

oops, it was another one from the guest house the pet dog what I thought, I think,

    watch?v=CEeaI1dquwk

Notice the colour/color they have put in the old black and white clips. Clever, the wonders of modern technology that is Stan.

  • @LaurelHardyLady1

Seen this, hilarious. But don't ban it, if you have the power. Something needs to be done to spread Laurel and Hardy to the people again, because I am having funny ideas about it, that it was used in the anti-communist war, pre-1989, yes I do!

  • this sucked. boooooooo

  • The end scene of this when the boat goes down the hill on a trailor, demolishing their Model Ford T and a large shed is a classic, with Stan going to retrieve his horn, and it still works, Classic scenes shamefully very rarely seen today on telly today.

  • @RhysWickens

Karl Pilkington, even, Ricky Gervais's mate, from "Monkey News".

  • "What do you mean come in?"

    Stans face is hilarious!!!

  • @RhysWickens

    Ricks mate, Pilkington?

  • @RhysWickens

Hold on, you sound like Karl.

If you are, think, better than going to Tescos to buy your tea, catching your tea with yourown boat on an evening. As long as the weather is ok, and you live near the sea in the first place.

If you are not Karl, forget what I just said.

  • @RhysWickens

They filled the old disused boat with water to find the leaks, to repair it, so to use the boat to catch fish on the sea to sell.

    Makes sense to me.

Try and buy a video of the original, as well as other Laurel and Hardy episodes. You will laugh your bollocks off.

FISH!! braaaarrrp! JUST CAUGHT TODAY! etc.., IN THE OCEAAAAN!

  • these guys are answome nothings like them today

  • I'm 30 & just caught L & H for the 1st time in my life last night on TMC & as a 3 stooges lover it amazed me how much of the stooges material & even mannerism came from L&H...Even a lot of the actors on L&H were on the early stooge shorts..So did L&H mentor the stooges in any way or was it a case of monkey see monkey do??

  • @JoeCool031619 was it the episode where they would fight that store owner and everytime they walk out eat a piece of candy in front of the storeowner? im looking for that episode right now. if you know which one it is let me know

  • @boxersrock1 I dvr'd every episode that TMC played & I'm in the process of watching them all, but I haven't seen that scene yet but if I come across it I'll let you know..I just can't believe it took me so long to find L&H. I always knew of them but finally appreciating them is awesome..

  • @boxersrock1 its called tit for tat :) i love it

  • @and908 ahh thanks man appreciate it. i saw these guys for the first time the other night and my uncle was cracking up and told me about them and ive been youtubing ever since. tit for tat love it

  • @boxersrock1 ya i have been watching them ever since i was a kid. im 19 and no one my age has heard of them, its sad on what they're missing out on. your welcome btw :)

  • This clip is from "Towed in a Hole." My generation was blessed in that in the 50s and 60s, Laurel and Hardy were always on TV, and we could watch them somewhere on the tube every day. They are THE MEN - the greatest that ever was.

  • why is he washing the anchor?

  • They were truly a head of their time. Stan was a writing genius!

  • I love these 2 guys. thanx for share

  • I wish I was alive back in these days. It seems so simple and pleasant!

  • albert einstein = genius

    laurel + hardy = ubergenius

  • @antccccc Lauel & Hardy= a smile for your soul.

  • Why are all the full shows removed off youtube? I love these shows.

  • i have the full episodes on my channel i will be uplode more for any one that love,s Laruel&Hardy

  • never to be forgotten.

  • This was before the days of stunt doubles. I'm surprised they didn't kill themselves accidentally.

  • What do you mean come in...

  • I love the sweet inevitability of knowing that some disaster is going to happen to them, even if you don't know exactly what it will be :)

  • Absolute Genius Comedy,,Never to be Bettered!...

  • Best part of this short is when Stan gets his head stuck between the mast pole and the wall of the boat. I cried with laughter for the whole thing.

  • what do you mean "come in?"

  • *falls over laughin* @ 0:53 he's wringing out chains.. LOL PRICELESS !!

  • This is one of their best, it just builds and builds and builds and then boom!

  • Incredible - this clip must be about 75-80 years old and it still makes me laugh 'till my eyes water! Absolutely timeless.

  • @quirpco - This film was first shown in 1933, I believe, so that makes it 78 years - your estimate was very accurate! I wish I could get my hands on some of their films and see them in full again.

  • I remember this one. I recorded it on VHS as a kid. Then as now, I wondered why the hell did they invest so much money in a boat that clearly should have been scrapped.

  • Good old Laurel & Hardy. Their films always make me laugh.

  • does any ine recognice this ? a boy from a far away country visit another ( maybe usa ? ) laurel & hardy work someone or own something where boy ( young prince and heir ) stays the boy is threaten because family wants the thore , laurel and hardy finds out and help the boy ( prince ) with happy ending.

  • This scene is from "Towed In A Hold." Posted somewhere on YT is "The Fresh Fish Blues," which is from the beginning of this short.

  • epic.

  • Anyone know what the film was called the one where they go to Ireland to get Stanley's Enheritance and end up just getting a bagpipe and a snuff box??
