I made mine just like lover4fashion made hers but I traced around my hairline to ensure it would fit correctly and I used that as my guide so it wouldnt come out to big or small

Question.... After sewing the hair on the cap, my wig is too big! :o(

When I tried the dome cap on before sewing the hair on it fit fine.. After cutting the u part its too big. Do you know what Im doing wrong?

Thanks love! That was a dome cap. I think I had to make it differently because I already had my hair braided. So I had to adjust the tracks to thebraid patten. Opposed to making the cap then making then braiding it.

Your hair looks gorgeous! Im getting ready to make my first one today! I noticed you used a spandex cap and thats probably why you had to change the measurements. You should get a "dome cap" next time and it will fit perfectly!
