  • props for putting adverts on your videos! it's about time you started getting a little money for your efforts!

  • you should try kibirzing like jerry does kingscrusher that would be fun doing high rated gm games maybe like smallville or something

  • I enjoyed your interesting analysis.

  • Kamsky tried to play this gambit against Carlsen today

  • Is the 'fun' of a marshall gambit only illusory if it's all theory now?

  • I'm wondering if 30 ... Re7 is a better way to double rooks on the e-file? It seems that with 30 ... Re6 you are preventing your knight from moving as it is pinned to the rook.

  • @SuperMyfamily01 yeah, that's what I was thinking... There seem to have been some chances for Re4 after that Knight moved too. But then again, it could always just come back.

  • this is funny I dont think ive ever seen you play the Marshall Gambit

  • England are playing cricket, Andy Murray's playing tennis and you are playing chess! Only in England!! :-)

  • You do realize the world has about 24 time zones and the the internet goes to many places... some even outside of the UK. Making your local time somewhat irrelevant ..

  • Strong moves and precise commentary. Party on !! :D

  • That was great, that is my favourite one of your games for ages. Blast from the past.

  • "People don't play the Ruy Lopez any more"?

  • After you played 22. ...g5, I was thinking that it was just kind of a pointless move especially since f4 didn't really seem to work afterwards. It seemed your main point to g5 was an aggressive one that didn't pan out. Interestingly, later it turned out to provide a valuable escape square for your king with the rook check on a8 so that you didn't have to retreat your light-squared bishop to g8. Maybe you had this idea in the back of your head as well even if you didn't verbalize it?

  • @freethinkin123 I was thinking the same about the move g5. I think KC just played it with the intention of loosening white's king position, but in this instance it doesn't seem to really work. If he'd thought about it a bit more he probably wouldn't have played g5, but luckily there was still enough complication in the position for him to out-play his lower-rated opponent.

  • Wow, Rauf Mamedov at the beginning did you say? You can watch some videos of him playing blitz, just type his name in..

  • 30. g4

  • @jewbinson nope, Qxg4+

  • 30. g4

  • How dose he stop mate if you play 16 ...Bf3?

  • @AmosNoLandsMan Oh I see....

  • @AmosNoLandsMan Qf1 - the Qf1 trick is all part of Marshall Gambit theory - to defend against Bf3. Marshall Gambit opening theory is very deep.

  • Nice!

  • his bxd5 seems anti positional

  • Hey, wouldn't it be awesome to see Kc watching gm-games and commenting live?
