O yes , an old timer now but I went to see this wi some of my collage friends when I was in between my sophomore & Junior year. Pretty much what collage was like in 85. Haha! Pretty cool movie at the time too.The kids in this movie ruled young Hollywood in the mid 80's.

I'm only 13 and my mom showed me The Outsiders, The Breakfast Club, and Some Kind of Wonderful. She then showed me this movie and I fell in love with all of these movies!!!!! Funny, I used to think the same about them before the economy went down the tubes, spoiled rich kids who can't appreciate all the opportunities they have. Since I was 7 when this movie came out, they just seemed like cool older kids when I first saw it. By the time I was 25, they seemed like spoiled brats. I guess early 20's kids now might view these characters the same way someone who grew up during the depression might view them.

And Mare Winningham is in love with Rob Lowe, and Emilio Estevez is stalking Andie MacDowell! My favorite movie!
