the Ingalls and Cartwright families are something to treasure and learn from. Both fathers Ben and Charles Ingalls were a perfect role models. Yes, they don´t make shows like Bonanza and LHOP any more and that is a pity. I personally don´t watch television any more except the re-runs of shows like bonanza and LHOP and I am a big fan of BBC mini epic series. Try to watch Lark Rise to Candleford. Pure bliss and superb acting. We don´t have real actors and real television anymore.
Beautiful tribute to a wonderful man who helped me rediscover my faith. I guess that means one of his promises made to God was achieved. I wish there was tv shows like these made today and maybe this world would have a bit more love and peace in it. Thankyou Michael Landon and Peace!

Thank you Daisy! For posting this tribute to all the actors and actrices who made the series such a succes. In loving memory:Lorne Green,Dan Blocker,Michael Landon,Pernell Roberts,Victor Sen Yung,Ray Teal and all those who made the Bonanza serie such a succes and also Kevin Hagen,Victor French,Dabbs Greer,Karl Swenson and also Michael Landon. All the actors are realy verry good actors and I"m a man but I even had tears in my eyes even after I had it seen so manny times before. Thanks again Daisy.
Thanks dear for this video .Now I know that no matter from where we are or to what religion we belong we all share the same values. In your comment I read 'with respect to god' .Nowadays unfortunately ' God's respect does not exist anymore.Everything is directly connected to sex money and power. The song by Celtic Woman makes me cry all the day I remember my beloved father who passed away recently. I used to see these shows by his side when I was a child. Thanks again.Amine from Algeria ;)

I saw Little House the musical yesterday. melissa Gilbert was supposed to play ma, but she was sick or something. So that sort of sucked and the songs weren't very catchy, but the actors and actresses were good.
my mom got me hooked on michael landon and little house on the prairie, and ever since then i have loved him. I love bonanza and all the old shows that show the good in people. I too am only 19, and this video is amazing :)
lol.....i;ve got the 1st 2 seasons have just ordered the next 2 seasons....lol....wow ur so young...lol....classics are the older shows i love them...mind you i was only 1-2yrs when it ended....so i had to watch the re-runs....lol....lol....BONANZA FOREVER....
hi lol...sorry, but we have never talked about the civil war....as i've not yet seen the new generation.....lol...sorry.....you've got me mixed up with some one else there gillypot....so i dont who you was talking to about it, but it wasnt me....sorry....
kocham michaela londona..za tą dobroć , która emanowała z niego...Jest jedna z niewielu osób, które były tak wielka legendą..którą kiedyś chciałabym spotkać po tamtej stronie....
Imagine if you tried to make these wonderful shows today, they'd laugh in your face! Shows you just how bad things have gotten in the entertainment industry.
I was teenager when I was watching these two beautifule serials bonanz and little house on pierera, I remember when I was watching this serials they were so touching that always I had tears of joy in my eyes. God bless all the heroes and the producers of these serials.
I'm 17 and I still watch these shows. Now a days all people watch are crap like mtv and vh1. I personally hate these shows. I am very grateful to my parents for helping to grow up on shows like these. When I was 8 all i watched was bonanza, little house, gilligans island, mcguyver and many others. I STILL love them.
Bravo... well done. These were classic family oriented, family values TV shows. I might also add Michael Landon's Highway to Heaven series to these two. What happened to TV and our society since these were some of the best TV series of the time?
at 4:17 is the epi "My Brother's Keeper" (one of my personal faves!) and at 5:33 is the epi "The Crucible" (another of my faves!) Great vid love the song and the pics!
@Lover7894 There never was an episode that Hoss died. When Dan Blocker died they just didn't mention it in the Series except in one where Little Joe took his
soon to be wife (I think it was called Alice) to Hoss's grave and he just told her about him as they sat there.
Is it sad that I knew exactly who sang the song in this vid when I heard the violin in the beginning? Or does it prove that I'm a big fan of Celtic Woman?
Either way, this is a very, very, very good video. 5 stars.
Both were very fine shows - Hollywood does not make them like this anymore, which is a shame indeed. Beautiful posting - thanks.

Hi, remember what we were saying about the Civil War? Well it was april 12 1961 to
april 9 1865 and the last battle ended on
may 13 1865 so when you said that the
"New Generation" Bonanza must be set
in 1888 because Little Joe was missing
after the war it doesn't make sense.
