As I said before, just because they're a christian band doesn't mean that they're necessarily singing about God or Jesus. It's open to interpretation in my opinion (though this particular song probably is).

Red is actually the first band who every song of theirs I like. I think the main singer puts a hell of a lot of emotion into the words he sings, you can even hear it. Listen to how he says some words.
Each of their songs has their own meanings, christian or not, you'll find a meaning that suits what you believe. And personally, I don't think their songs have any relation to god, if you listen to the lyrics it sounds like hes singing about people he's met in the past that changed his life.

Just like in the title of the CD. This CD can sound so innocent. His voice in this CD is so powerful and can grasp anyone's attention. He has such a great way of writing a song, then, performing it. Simply great !

I got this album for free. Radio station in my area gave away like 5 for the first 5 to come to the station and pick em up. I was #1 to get there. This is so ridiculous, This is RED's SECOND album. Of course it's going to be different. If bands didn't grow musically, then it would be like buying the same album over again. Plus, every album has a background to it, every album is inspired by something different. I actually lov e this album more than the first because his voice is more distinct and more clear. The first album was a bit more power driven.
How do you know how the song should have ended, are you their producer? Seriously, if you're going to say it's a great song, don't nit pick and claim there's something wrong with it.

"Repentance is a change of mind, or a conversion from sin to God" Direct quote from a random online dictionary. I don't know where you stand religiously, but like when the Bible speaks of repentance, it's not talking of penance, as works cannot get you to heaven, its a change.
Also, you know in the army when they say "bout face," meaning for the soldiers to turn 180? In one foreign army they actually say "repent". In more modern times "repentance" has been interchanged with remorse sorrow etc

Here is the perfect analogy for you. If you were to call a dog's tail a foot, how many feet would the dog have then? The answer is four, because no matter what you call the tail, it is still just a tail. What you have referenced is something called a metaphor, are you aware of them? Now about your little religious soliloquy... it makes no sense. Penance is synonymous with repentance. I have no clue where you keep getting these random definitions... it is obvious you are looking them up.

In modern times, yes... penance and repentance are indeed synonymous, but they weren't always. In english we tend to do that, such as one expression can changce in meaning over time into something totally different. As I already stated, repentance was originally changing direction, now over time has been used interchangeable with penance and such. As for the dog analogy, it doesn't say Im wrong, or you're right or vice versa. Honestly, I don't see why we should argue over this, but feel free to

You've never actually been to one, most likely. Or if not, then there IS something, SOMEWHERE that you, personally, have no proof of the existance of, but believe in nonetheless.

Mm. Honestly if it comes right down to it I'll be more worried if they SUCCEED in recreating something such as "the big bang" than if they fail. I mean if they fail, chances are I'm dead, so nothing I can really do about it and it won't matter much. But if they succeed that'll be a truly terrifying thing. Idt humans-- god-created or not-- should hold that kind of power. But that's just me personally.

Well that's an easy answer to give christians/catholics/etc, but for those who don't believe in god/jesus that answer (though may be true) doesn't hold much weight to them.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just pointing out that people who don't believe in god/etc won't agree with that. It makes the end quite a bit more uncertain for people who don't.

Just like in the title of the CD. This CD can sound so innocent. His voice in this CD is so powerful and can grasp anyone's attention. He has such a great way of writing a song, then, performing it. Simply great !
I was in the car with one of my friends, I had this song playing really loud and two of my other friends asked me who the artist was, and said that he sounded like Breaking Benjamin, only a bit heavier and a higher pitched voice. Anyways, one of my fav bands, perhaps my fav CD.

Rock music isn't some monster that's going to get you when you're sleeping. Try out some good rock bands and you'll see that it's nothing to be afraid of. Although I definitely wouldn't really suggest this band (too cookie cutter) and certainly not Linkin Park. Talk to someone who knows.

I got this album for free. Radio station in my area gave away like 5 for the first 5 to come to the station and pick em up. I was #1 to get there. This band is really good and I would love to see them live. Anyone else think that #1 intro sounds similar to linkin park style? Regardless they are great, death of me is good too!

This is so ridiculous, This is RED's SECOND album. Of course it's going to be different. If bands didn't grow musically, then it would be like buying the same album over again. Plus, every album has a background to it, every album is inspired by something different. I actually lov e this album more than the first because his voice is more distinct and more clear. The first album was a bit more power driven.

If you know anything about fuckin music you should know that songs have two chrous lines at the end, depends on the song but this song defintely needed it. Who says their producer is right? of course you give him the benefit of the doubt because they can do no wrong in your eyes. Just because you criticize when you want to doesn't always mean you're critique means jack. Unless you're in the studio working with the band on their songs, you have no right to claim that it shouldn't have been done differently and that if it wasn't, they screwed up. I'd hate to start a band and have the album reviewed by some nit picker like you.
