Good points Anychange. I've been reading your points on this case for months & your comments are always intelligent. 3 things bother me with Tanner's sighting. (1) If an abductor had taken the time to stalk the McCanns as claimed WHY didn't he/ she have a vehicle CLOSER to the back of the apartment? (2) What was the abductor doing? Showing off his 'prize' by carrying a child in front of Tanner? This makes no sense; the area is overlooked by buidlings. (3) Who carries a child like that anyway?
The bit I like is that Jane Tanner distinctly says "I was carrying...." She doesn't say "he was carrying" or "she was carrying" Tanner clearly says "I was carrying..."
And if you look at the timeline of the statements, Gerry McCann, Jane Tanner and Matthew Oldfield all went to the apartments separately within a ten minute time frame, which is a tad unusual for a group of people who were supposedly 'taking turns' to check on the children.

But their story doesn't make sense at all anyway because who would want to go out on a social night out and then have to get up and down like a yo-yo because you'd left your kids alone? You'd either take them with you or stay in. It would be too disruptive and in any case, disasters with toddlers can happen in an instant. Not every 15 or 30 minutes.
Its the basic instinct of every CARING parent to eliminate risks to their children. By leaving three pre school children in the apartment they were exposed to the risk of choking, falling from height, electrocution, consuming toiletries, etc.
& of course the risk of fire. But then, the parents left the door unlocked for them to escape in the unlikely event that they would wake up & not die of smoke inhalation.
The timeline certainly suggested Tanner, Oldfield, and Gerry working together to get the body of Maddy away. It makes perfect sense. A friend of the group happened to be there and Gerry engaged him in a conversation.

Apparently it took 48 hours after the 'Abduction' for Tanner to mention anything about seeing a man carrying a child,and Mathew Oldfield had a sheet of paper with all the timelines of the so called movements of everyone that fateful night,all written down,with "Jane sees abductor" at a certain time,and still no questions asked from our cowardly ,despicable press.

A job that would have been rendered redundant and unfinanced immediately had Madeleine been genuinely abducted and then located.

Tanner is a disgusting liar. When I first viewed the artists impression of a man carrying a child I was immediately struck at the way in which the child appeared to be held. It's an unnatural way to hold a child, it would have drawn attention to the abductor. Her story is complete and utter bullshit.

Jane Tanner and her partner were regularly up and down that night because allegedly their eldest child who was Madeleine's age was sick and had been vomiting. They chose to still go out that night and just have 'regular' checkups on their child who had been vomiting rather than have one or both of them stay with her that night

I don't think any sheet was soiled that night. Housekeeping categorically denied ANY fresh bedclothes were asked for that night. The most important thing is that NONE of the Tapas 7 was asked seious questions and subjected under scrutiny. In normal life, they and the McCash couple would be the biggest suspects from the word go. Jane Tanner had a slip of tongue, saying, " I was carrying the child." It is all on YouTube under "Tanner." Good points Anychange. I've been reading your points on this case for months & your comments are always intelligent. 3 things bother me with Tanner's sighting. (1) If an abductor had taken the time to stalk the McCanns as claimed WHY didn't he/ she have a vehicle CLOSER to the back of the apartment? (2) What was the abductor doing? Showing off his 'prize' by carrying a child in front of Tanner? This makes no sense; the area is overlooked by buidlings. (3) Who carries a child like that anyway?

actually more like 15 mins because Gerry/Jane went back circa 9:15pm and Oldfield supposedly got up out of his seat at 9:30pm. But their story doesn't make sense at all anyway because who would want to go out on a social night out and then have to get up and down like a yo-yo because you'd left your kids alone? You'd either take them with you or stay in. It would be too disruptive and in any case, disasters with toddlers can happen in an instant. Not every 15 or 30 minutes.

Its the basic instinct of every CARING parent to eliminate risks to their children. By leaving three pre school children in the apartment they were exposed to the risk of choking, falling from height, electrocution, consuming toiletries, etc.
& of course the risk of fire. But then, the parents left the door unlocked for them to escape in the unlikely event that they would wake up & not die of smoke inhalation.

The timeline certainly suggested Tanner, Oldfield, and Gerry working together to get the body of Maddy away. It makes perfect sense. A friend of the group happened to be there and Gerry engaged him in a conversation.
