Wouldn't it make sense to build a new and sustainable system, and then let the old system either collapse on its own, or bring it to a soft landing?
If we crash the system, there will be widespread violence because people won't be able to buy food. If instead, we try to live sustainably, like the Transition movement wants to, then there will be something already there to replace the old system when it inevitably dies. Trying to crash it before there is a viable replacement sounds bad!
Very interesting question, if we crash the system there will be total disorder and violence and lack of food/water but if we don't crash the system we will be more enslaved than we already are. Also preppers are never full prepped, they are just more equipped for something than the sheep, but very interesting video and very insightful so thumbs up all round from me
@cestrianvlogger Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree, we are screwed either way but maybe a fast crash is the lesser of the 2 challenging situations?
secular humanism mate? To embrace something which gives absolutely no hope in life is a shame. I remember you saying you left your previous 'religion'. what and how do you feel now you have been out for a few months?... don't give up searching - ''Lord our hearts are restless - until they rest in you''(Augustine of Hippo).
@TheMunkmeister Humanism gives me hope /watch?v=u1xr5c3GJuo (fantastic channel BTW). I'm open to studies into near death experiences and altered states of consciousness, but there is a lack of evidence supporting religious/supernatural assertions. I like to be clear with myself what is a hypothesis, and what has evidence supporting it. Life can still have meaning without religious/supernatural beliefs... /watch?v=DU6bc_Gsp7s I feel more honest, open and grounded intellectually and spiritually
If anyone can organize a bank-run in the UK or US or both, and the challenge was successful then that would wake-up quite a few people and get the stiring. How many individuals; who have accounts, would be needed to crash the system in an event like this? Just the minimum number. How much money would have to be withdrawn to accomplish this task? In what time period? 24hours? less? What is your estimate? Peace and love my brother.
@hopenchrist777 Good question - I don't know. The more people who participate the more effective and quicker it will be. If it gains momentum over the coming months maybe we can bottom out the system by 2013. Bottoming out is subjective IMO, but to me it means where they can't continue the game of transferring the debt problems from the private sector to citizens, and have to implement an isolationist position in regards to foreign policy due to a lack of funds. What your view?

Buy food and if you want to save your purchasing power buy silver or gold or any other real hard asset what you can barter or use.
