which reminds me... godaddy has made itself too complicated lately likely for the purpose of justifying it's skyrocketting costs for what is essentially a basic service. To add, they seem to have decided UK should start paying prices that rip off britiain is reknown for so it costs us more. I use godaddy for 5 domains of my own but the initial attraction was cost, now thats gone tits up

godaddy's prices really aren't that terrible, especially considering you can get free hosting with a domain name.

If you don't have that kind of money, you probably don't have a job and you then probably don't know HTML code.

I'm a web designer with a domain from GD, and it's like $60 a year for the domain, and hosting is free. I don't think that's really that bad.

i saying its expensive because the work required to make a domain hapoen is way basic, its only an update to an already existing database and thus i feel the cost is going to spiral out of control.

This is just like contracts and call rates in the UK - still taking advantage for relatively basic technology
