  • Hey - I'm also in Atlanta and looking to learn about gardening with my family. We live in Tucker actually. There is a yahoo group for growing fruit, and other things, called Atlanta Fruit. I just joined, hoping to meet others in the area and learn from them.

  • Hi. We live up in Kennesaw. We just started this gardening stuff last year, but have had alot of fun with it. I am no expert by any means and am learning what I can as well. There is a great set of videos I enjoy watching on here from the user "webcajun" He really goes into some good detail on how to do things and while not in our area, it really does help me. Please keep in touch and perhaps we can trade ideas.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. We have since thinned out everything. When we first planted, they all seemed so small and didn't imagine that things would get so big. First time gardening, so I am just learnign the ropes by trial and error unfortunately. Thanks again for the suggestions!

  • Hosta is what those plants are called on the side of your house. I would only put 2 plants per tote but thats only if the tote is filled to the top with soil. The plants being planted so deep in the tote are gonna stretch for light u should line the inside with tin foil to reflect the light. but id fill the totes with soil and only put 2 plants per pot. Hope this helped
