  • This needs repeating , urgently !

  • better than 2006-2011 animes. WAY BETTER brings me great memories

  • I love this, love listening to it.

  • yorkshire13579 -you had Thatcher, we had Ronnie Ray-Gun; twin brothers and sisters of different mothers. I feel your pain.

  • As we watched this as blissfully unaware children, Margaret Thatcher was busy screwing the country over.

  • Count Duckula has a kickass theme song.

  • This was one of my childhood favorites back when Nickelodeon aired this in the 80's and early 90's.

  • Such a cool show loved this.

  • This was on YTV in Canada during the 90's - just before really old Doctor Who reruns. Good stuff.

  • the need to come out with this on DVD!!!!! I missed this show!

  • @eternasapphiremoon81 You can buy the complete collection on Amazon (get it imported from the UK; it's a lot cheaper).

  • @eternasapphiremoon81 This is on DVD. It's out of print now though.

  • I used to be shit scared of these closing credits - especially the woman screaming, the skeleton and the Thriller-esque music.

  • i love you tube for many reasons but the best reason is when you think of a cartoon or show u watched as a kid u think yea ill look for the show and watch it brings back memorys

  • I used to love Duckula when I was a kid I cried when they took him off the air I used to always watch him

  • hah, sry the german version is so much better :D you know there are no girls singing..

  • Most frightening credits ever.

  • They don't make them like this anymore.

  • nnnaaaaannnyyy

  • Gotta love Mike Harding :)

  • I'm feelin sort of kookoo ..

  • Man you've had a brush with....

    DUCKULA!

So watch out for the (Roar)

    Beware of the (Hysterical Laughing)

And pray you'll never meet with....

    DUCKULA! COUNT DUCKULA!

  • If You're Feeling (Screaming) Or You're kind of (Ghoulish Laughter) Maybe You've met up with.... DUCKULA! If your knees go (Knock Knock) And your teeth go (Chatter Chatter) Maybe You've bumped into.... DUCKULA! He flies through the night Looking for a bite But he's back home by Daylight. DUCKULA! If you're sort of (Boing Boing) Or you're a little (Cuckoo) It's certain you've run into.... DUCKULA! If Your heart goes (Thump Thump) And Your mind goes (Gibber Gibber)
  • My Whole Street just had to listen to this with Me!!!

  • the best ending

  • I love the ending theme but, those parts scared the SHIT Out of me when I was Little

  • Even when I was little, I always enjoyed the closing theme more that the opening.

  • oh yeah Im definitely feelin :09

  • @theblacksheep1000 Omg me too ;)

  • Transylvania Duck!!

  • Beyond awesome, watch it all the time on dvd, duckula is great.

  • this scared when i was young but i watched it anyways because i used to love the show :)

  • Man such an awesome outro if there ever was one.

  • i have memories of being scared shitless by this cartoon when i was 3 or 4 years old

  • goodnight out there......WHATever you are!

  • I love the lightning in the night sky! It is frightening and exciting!

  • "Therm Warfare" by Heatwave in 1979. This is the song that the Count Duckula theme rips off. Just listen and judge for yourself.

  • @211bill Don't hear it

  • Ahhhhhhh nostalgia :-)

  • Man, the skeleton's chattering teeth scared the bajeebers out of me as a kid. I still loved the song, though!

  • Funky ass shit - should have been all released as a song.

  • One of the funkiest 80's cartoon theme songs, love this, wish I could get a proper instrumental

  • God, the intro and end of this show make it sound so awesome. The way they say "Duckula" gets me every time.

  • they dont show this in the states.......

they have it in europe still on boomerang channel

  • ahh to be eight again!

  • My older sister would sing the song with my younger sister providing the humorous effects and me with the DUCKULA in the mix; we loved it

  • Oh memories of the 1987-1990 YTV lineup! Miss this!

  • These particular end credits were used in 13 episodes only in the first season. Afterwards they took away the flashing "Duckula" logo. It's a shame really, I used to love that part, but at least they didn't change the credits completely.

  • This brings back so many good memories.

  • i think this closing used cut out animation and cel animation

  • DUCKULA... COUNT DUCKULA THE VEGETARIAN LMFAO

  • I never understood why there was animation of that woman who was scared and etc.

  • I actually forgot how awesome this outro was...

Thanks very much for the reminder!

  • In YOUTUBE this video until 1:01.

But on GMA 7 in the Philippines they skip

the ending due of the time and schedule

  • loved the intro and ending to this show

  • ah Hall and Cosgrove, damn they made great cartoons!

  • 7 people must be feeling (ahhh) and a little (cuckoo), and can't even hang on Duckula's ass-feathers.

  • Comment removed

  • Good Night . . . . Whatever You Are . .

  • Another awesome specimen of the 80s.

Cartoons don't really even HAVE credit sequences anymore...

Seeing this would make anyone think that today's cartoon's suck.

  • I always loved the "if your heart goes BOOM-PA BOOM-PA!"

  • haha one of the best credits I wonder who that lady is I mean theres some story to that Im dying to know lol!

  • I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning, but I remember these lyrics.

  • I bet a Count Duckula movie would be a LOT better than Twilight.

  • @ManelinhoAraujinho --- oh heck, I'd be first in line for a Count Duckula movie!

  • @ManelinhoAraujinho not like that's hard to do anyhow :P

  • @ManelinhoAraujinho Team Duckula!!!

  • even vagitareian vampires can be cool

  • lol

  • Probably one of the best closing credit sequences of all time....I don't reckon that you would find a single person in the UK aged 20-28 who wouldn't immediately click if this song came on.

  • @BelatedCommiseration dont 4get maid marion and her merry men

  • @BelatedCommiseration Probably could say the same about that over here on the other side of the pond as well. Definitely had a cult following on Nickelodeon over here.

  • @BelatedCommiseration 30, and a well-deserved click!

  • nannyyy

  • Whoa.. weird moment here.. I just watched this and thought 'I'm sure I saw Dangermouse growl at the lady'.. so I went back and stopped it at 0.49 and sure enough... YEP ... Dangermouse himself is growling at the lady, now how nuts is that... I love it :))x

  • @wenglishsal

I dunno since Dangermouse is white... however originally Dangermouse is supposed to be brown but Penfold is brown. Oh and it can't be Dangermouse because the growling thing on rollerskates isn't wearing a eyepatch.

  • @TechnoHajikelist

maybe he's the unseen werewolf in Transylania everyone keeps mentioning but was never seen.

  • @TechnoHajikelist ... hee hee, just had another look-see, it must be a really scary mouse then, maybe not DM... humm as Penfold would say 'scratching his eyebrows that float above his head...' hee hee... The very best of regards from Wales UK :0)x

  • I remember seeing this in 2002 / 2003 on the TV (loved it :3) . Also remember the Ending :D , Found it scary xd as I was like 8-9 :p

  • Duckula is Delboy!!!.... bizzare or what.

  • @rivercarper01 ...David Jason is truly awesome playing the wonderful Derek ( Del Boy) Trotter and Dangermouse and The BFG too... How brilliant is David Jason... DCI Jack Frost, Pop Larkin, Blanco (Porridge with Ronnie Barker) Granville (Open all Hours with Ronnie Barker again) and lots lots more... :0)x

  • I always liked to catch the joke in the credits, as shown in later eps.

  • sniff =') they dont make em like this anymore

  • it remainds me of the old 80 themes

  • This song has no relation to Count Duckula's character. It's almost like they took a song about somebody else and inserted the name Duckula into it. Still, pretty catchy and animated interestingly.

  • KLLER SYNTH FUNK BOOGIE !

  • Since Duckula is a vegetarian vampire, anyone thinks he makes Edward Cullen and his vegan vampire family blush with jealousy?

  • I also wonderded why wont anyone remember duckula, watched it today for the first time in 17 years, made me remember afternoons at grandmas.

  • It's Michael Jackson's "Thriller" meets Monty Python...

  • @kc86er that's Mike Harding for ya!

  • @kc86er That is an excellent description

  • Duckula was and still is the best duck out there he's better then donald and daffy he makes those two look like a pile of doggie doo!

  • Aw, man. I loved that show. I miss it.

  • They don't theme songs like this anymore, or come to think of it cartoons like these anymore. :-(

  • your 10 year old self was a lot cooler

  • bulaluigi win.

  • lol, the video at 0:43 is just creepy.

  • @zzco Damn, the video paused exactly at this moment, this part used to scare the *** out of me, when I was a kid! especially the eyes

  • I'm glad that Nickelodeon brought us Count Duckula to U.S. viewers, back in the 80s and early 90s. Without Nickelodeon, I don't think I would know this cartoon show. That also goes for the other cartoon from U.K.; Danger Mouse.

At the end of the Count Duckula ending credits I remember seeing both logos of Nickelodeon and Thames TV appearing right after the Cosgrove Hall Productions logo.

  • @1985Nebraska

I also remember seeing them logos of Nickelodeon and Thames TV appearing right after the Cosgrove Hall Productions logo at the end of the ending credits of Count Duckula. I was one who watched this and Danger Mouse on Nickelodeon all them years ago. I'm glad the U.K. introduced them two to us U.S. kids, who spent too much time around the TV.

  • Cosgrove Hall kicks ass once again!

  • what does she sing at 0:29 to 0:31? can't hear it properly

  • I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you. Good night out there - whatever you are!

  • @ richmondie

    booooo :p

  • @alisonmanic I dont understand what she's saying at :10 to :11, either. It's not a hard song to sing, except that I don't know what she's saying.

  • @ Blueangel0925 that part i believe says "Could be you've met up with..."

  • Oh. Thanks for clearing it up; that probably is what she's saying. I wish I could help you, too, but I really don['t know what she's saying at 0:29 and 0:31. Can anyone help us out here?

  • a used to love that programme, had a video too with loads of lights on it lol!!!! QUALITY!!!

  • Freakish, but cool. Has it really been 20 years since I've seen this? It doesn't seem like it.

  • well, i havent seen this since 1991.

  • Always at the end of the rolling credits, me and my brother would howl like wolves, it was crazy!

  • It so works with a black woman singing too- don't think it would work with a different type of voice somehow.

  • Jjejej que GRAN Ending jejej XDDD

  • Best ending song EVER!!!

  • when i was a kid, 0.43 used to make me piss myself laughing... IT STILL DOES!! :)

  • @pufferfishish OMG - me too! :D

  • soooo funny, ain't it?! Think it's the combination of the bulging eyes and freakish smile even though her brain's explodin with worms, lol :)

  • what happened to our nickelodeon? it actually had good shows. damn modern times and disney channel.

  • Agreeing with many comments; I used to get scared by the ending (esp. heart on a spring and worms in the brain of the woman with no eyes... scary as hell) but I still watched it had a catchy melody.

  • 0:32 is the best bit.

  • I personally get a little chuckle at the dude at 0:09

  • Hahaha, yeah. The whole thing is just full of lols.

  • Lol that's my favorite part too.

  • tele-a toon Retro is a close as your going to get ,well here it is,to watching older cartoons

  • Why doesn't Nickelodeon show DANGER MOUSE and COUNT DUCKULA anymore?

  • Because it's 2009. I don't think you thought that question out much.

  • What do you mean because it's 2009? Of course it's 2009, but that doesn't doesnt mean the kids of today can't enjoy a cartoon that's over 20 years old. COUNT DUCKULA & DANGER MOUSE are funnier to watch than FAIRLY ODD PARENTS and SPONGEBOB.

  • No I think you goin too far wit that Spongebob comment. That cartoon IS actually funny as shit...if you ever heard them mention diarrhea..and they do that often. Danger Mouse wasn't that great to me..we had better cartoons no comparison, really. It ain't even right to. I show both of my sons 10 and 8 cartoons I used to watch as a youngbull myself, all the time.

  • I have nothing against SPONGBOB SQUAREPANTS but I think it has entirely too much airtime on Nickelodeon. They could make room for such cartoons such DANGER MOUSE and DUCKULA. Nick could also make room for the older nick toons DOUG and REN AND STIMPY.

  • I totally forgot this part of the show! Hilarious! 0:09 made my day. XD Thanks for sharing!

  • i love this song X3

  • @Aprion me too it's simple yet catchy.

  • This used to come on nickolodeon back in the day. Brings back memorys.

  • Gawd i love this show, Kids don't have any good cartoons now, Kids TV today is, well, for kids... Bring back the good old days of Cosgrove Hall!

  • i always knew i loved the end credits tune better, but forgot just how awesome it was. incredible

  • I loved the theme song too along with Pinwheel's. I watched that every Saturday until Power Rangers came out but my brother was 7 at the time so it was normal but anyway I too grew up in the late 80s and all through the 90s and this brings me fond memories as well

  • Legendary....brings back so many memories from my childhood.

  • loved watching this as a kid. never realized how "Thriller"-inspired the bass line is lol

  • Why are there no cartoons like this anymore? What Happened to television and the movies? These days, if you want something good in the realm of entertainment media, you must stick to the written word and live theater.

  • holy crap......i forgot all about this! i used to watch this show all the time.

sailorcybertron.....your right, they dont make them like they used to.

  • holy crap I forgot this had an end theme

  • Good old days ... when years started with 19..., the mummy part is the funniest bit, the scarist being the girl with no eye balls...

  • This show actually kinda creeped me out when i was a lad

  • :o i rmemeber this from the 80s or wtf :S really good show, great music ending.

  • I used to love watching this on Nickelodeon, when it used to be the shit. @

sailorcybertron, You're right, they don't make cartoons like this.

  • nice :P

  • They don't make kids t.v show's like this anymore!

  • I couldn't wait to come home from school at 3.30pm to watch this! I loved it! Good ole Dave Jason =0)

  • I've never met anyone personally who remembers this cartoon. Good taste is so hard to find!

  • i remember it for the ending XD

  • the music reminds me of thriller

  • OMG!!! I remeber when I watched this and I didn't understand a word (I'm portuguese). Such memories...

  • I used to scare from skelet

  • LOL How disco is the theme

  • What a credit, I like that!

  • oh she says Auh.. Keep on get kzaay .. lol

  • lol i rember that cartoon thats i had to get a good laugh in AuH ..Ha-ha... aa h..haha.. ha holds his rips

Voice artist over hear its a gift can do 690 voices non stop i have a lot of free time on my hands

  • what does that woman sing between :30 and :32?

  • OMG! I remember watching this show when i was kid. I used to love saying the "duckula" part with the ending theme song. I thought it was so cool.

  • The exit themesong used to scare the crap out of me when I was little!

  • I know what you mean, I used to dread watching the end credits (especially the skeleton knees, for some reason)! At the same time, though, it just didn't feel right unless I watched it! ;^^

  • Comment removed

  • Same here about the knees!

  • This show used to frighten me as a child. But it was a well made cartoon

  • this really is some memory :D

    thanks for uploading~

  • wow... I remember this ending and all the Vierd figures in it... such as the skeleton and the woman... lol

  • wow i haven't seen this since it was on TV, the skeletons and heart beating used to freak me out when i was 5 , lol

  • the music is catchier than thriller

  • in my opinion, the music has a "thriller-esque" quality to it though ;)

  • LOL it does remind you of Thriller doesn't it?

    David Jason rocks!

  • Maybe you bumped into Duckula. I used to love this cartoon when I was a kid brings back so many memories. Fantastic that they have uploaded it on You Tube, thank you so much for that! Yeah getting it on DVD will be pretty interesting.

  • they released it on DVD a few years ago... not sure if they still make it, but i'm sure you can find it somewhere if you look hard enough ;)

  • Oh man, i forgot just how good the end credits were! The Phantom of the Opera guy cracks me up every time!

  • my mum used to watch this when she was little also i used to watch this when i was 10 my cousin used to watch this =)
