@araujo9598 UHHH no. Retro studios said that there would not be anymore metroid primes. And it's imppossible that it's Dark Samus. One , she's very unstable and made of phazon , therefore , she needs to absorb as much as possible. Two , with Phaaze gone , all phazon was rendered useless , inert , and with no more properties that it previously had. Therefore , Dark Samus is dead.

You should use the picture of when the ship folds up then flies after Samus. at like 0:27 the ship folds into the same shape as Sylux's original ship shape.
You guys are leaving out a massive factor, Metroid Fusion, at the end of the game Samus likely hates the GF, Who else hates the GF? Sylux.. I let you figure out the rest from there.
Tho thy both hate the Galactic Federation (GF)... Sylux hates Samus too cuz she was once with GF and possibly helped fight Sylux...so there is no team up unless Sylux is also human and desides to part differences. Well, apparently a good amount of time has passed between MP: Hunters and MP3, so Sylux could've had time to steal a newer version of the ship from the GF. Sylux's ship *is* a stolen GF prototype, so if he stole a newer version they were working on (A Delano 8, perhaps?), it would explain why it looks *similar* to his original ship, but not *exactly* the same. And I'm pretty sure Sylux's original ship had green fire spewing from the engines like this one did. Plus, Dark Samus never used a ship.

And if you got the special ending in Hunters, you see that the hunters aren't dead; their ships fly away from the Oubliette before it explodes. And speaking of which, that explosion would've destroyed the hunters' ships, leaving Dark Samus with nothing to steal. And it was in an entirely different part of space, too far from Phaaze.
futher more, phaaze has been destroyed, If you listern to th voice in the end crdits it states (pretty much) that everything phaaze can't regenerate, because the sorce of phaaze no longer exsites.

I had absolutely no idea that there was any question as to whose ship it is. It's very obviously Dark Samus. She got a taste of Samus and turned into her, then she got a taste of the ship and made her own with the last of her power, I suppose.
This could not have been Sylux... Metroid Prime 3: Corruption takes place after Prime Hunters. If I am not mistaken, I believe it goes Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and then Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. So it is not Sylux. Nor is it Dark Samus, I think... It's just a teaser to lead to a new game in the future, Retro Studios said so.

Lets see, Phazon crisis resolved; Metroids extinct, except technically Samus for being infused with Metroid DNA in Fusion. Space Pirates... those bastards seem to never die but oh well. It seems that if a future game comes out it could be about the Federation as antagonists and Sylux appearing.

it not rundas i scanned his ship results: 0 life signs and engines frozen solid (obvious) and dark samus was created by metroid prime essence stealing samus's missiles, beams a suit and some dna a fused it with phazon to make dark samus but you never know she was destroyed and came back like 10 times she probly had a 50% & 60% chance of surviving but 1 problem only a very small amount of phazon unless she stole dna from a metroid she would be weak without it

Actually, if you unlock the special ending and get the Omega Cannon, most of the ships get away along with yours so it is plausible that Sylux makes it out.

For the record, I think that Sylux would make a great villain and a good story could be woven around him and Samus. I also think that the ship in the ending was the Delano 7.
Still a wiki, but on the Metroid wiki, they have Sylux's gender as "unknown" and thus is why Sylux is referred to as "it".

1 Dark Samus is still alive. This is debatable because in Metroid 2, when Dark Samus died, it took her until the end of the game to even have a body, and that wasnt as big a battle as Corruption. How could she grow back, get a ship, and get millions of lightyears away in those few minutes in the cut scene?
2 New character. Most probable in my opinion.
3. Old character, A LOT would have to be explained in order to bring that out. I mean, the Metroid Team could do it, but Idk...

Phaaze is a sentient planet. And the origin point. With the destruction of its core, the planet blew up, as well as Samus purged of her corruption. On the surface.

Dark Samus is gone, though I highly doubt we're done seeing "evil Samus clones", since there was first the SA-X, then Dark Samus. So odds are they'll keep up with the cliche like normal.

NO, this is NOT Sylux. Nobody knows who it is. Nintendo didn't say anything and just because this ship looks like Sylux' ship doesn't mean that it is REALLY his ship. There may be more than one kind of this ship.
It is not Dark Samus. I am 100% positive of this for several reasons. The first obvious reason is that the source of Phazon in the galaxy is gone. Planet Phaaze was destroyed. There is no way for Dark Samus to return. The only reason Dark Samus came back between Prime 1 and Prime 2 was because of the phazon suit. The reason she came back between Prime 2 and Prime 3 was because of phazon collected by Pirates on Aether. So no more phazon = no more Dark Samus.
They're both dead is questionable...Personally, I think Dark Samus is gone. GONE. The Crater on Talon IV has closed, and Phaaze, THE SOURCE OF (underline) AAAALLLLLLL (end underlining here) phazon has exploded, and Rundus is definitely no more...sob...

Since it terms of design, it resembles him.

This could not have been Sylux... Metroid Prime 3: Corruption takes place after Prime Hunters. If I am not mistaken, I believe it goes Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and then Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. So it is not Sylux. Nor is it Dark Samus, I think... It's just a teaser to lead to a new game in the future, Retro Studios said so.

imma bet that weavel, sylux, trace and all the others from hunters are going to appear in another game. probably like as multiplayer playable characters. take echoes for instance, it has multiplayer, but you can only play as samus. the other characters (except for maybe one) wont be part of the main story line. thats what i think anyway.

Now that i think about it since Metroid Other M lies between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion mabey Metroid Prime Corruption lies between Metroid Prime Echoes and Metroid Prime Hunters so the strange ship at the end probably means that Sylux is coming out in the next game that follows the story line Metroid Prime Hunters

Lets see, Phazon crisis resolved; Metroids extinct, except technically Samus for being infused with Metroid DNA in Fusion. Space Pirates... those bastards seem to never die but oh well. It seems that if a future game comes out it could be about the Federation as antagonists and Sylux appearing.

Its really the Delano 7 because
1: Samus's ship has been modified from the first prime until now, so It wouldn't be surprising that the Delano got changed ,too
2:The Delano 7 is a X-shaped Delta-Class fighter if observed when you battle Sylux,
And the following Warping ship was also X-shaped( the way its claws extended)
Im positive about this one.(BTW Sylux never really died, When he vaporized, he just goes back to his ship, or the nearest checkpoint maybe.. like samus does in hunters.

it not rundas i scanned his ship results: 0 life signs and engines frozen solid (obvious) and dark samus was created by metroid prime essence stealing samus's missiles, beams a suit and some dna a fused it with phazon to make dark samus but you never know she was destroyed and came back like 10 times she probly had a 50% & 60% chance of surviving but 1 problem only a very small amount of phazon unless she stole dna from a metroid she would be weak without it

this is not not sylux! on Phaaze you can scan the corpse of another metroid prime (i really scanned it ) : so it is possible that there is another dark samus. the first dark samus genes dont rely on phazon, so it could be possible that this ship is the ship of an older dark samus version. and sylux and the other characters were just "experiments" for 3D sight for wii (and sorry for my english its not my mother language)

Actually, if you unlock the special ending and get the Omega Cannon, most of the ships get away along with yours so it is plausible that Sylux makes it out.

Still a wiki, but on the Metroid wiki, they have Sylux's gender as "unknown" and thus is why Sylux is referred to as "it".
From metroid wikia's article on the NES title: At some points the English manual used masculine pronouns in relation to Samus in error. Japanese third-person pronouns tend not to be gender-specific, making the surprise easier to carry off in the Japanese version."

3 possibilities,
1 Dark Samus is still alive. This is debatable because in Metroid 2, when Dark Samus died, it took her until the end of the game to even have a body, and that wasnt as big a battle as Corruption. How could she grow back, get a ship, and get millions of lightyears away in those few minutes in the cut scene?
2 New character. Most probable in my opinion.
3. Old character, A LOT would have to be explained in order to bring that out. I mean, the Metroid Team could do it, but Idk...

@zerosuitfan91 That's only wishful thinking for a Metroid Prime 4, which won't happen. Dark Samus is dead. Permenantly. Why? Because Phaaze was the origin point of Phazon and its even shown that the Phazon is alive, hence the Liquid Phazon enemy, Phaz-ing, and so forth. So obviously Phazon is sentient.
Phaaze is a sentient planet. And the origin point. With the destruction of its core, the planet blew up, as well as Samus purged of her corruption. On the surface.
Trust me. Dark Samus is gone.

@zerosuitfan91 In other words, all Phazon was destroyed. Nintendo also said that they were done with Metroid Prime and wanted to do other stuff.
Plus, considering it takes place right after the first Metroid game, if there still was Phazon or Dark Samus, then it probably would've shown up in the other games.
Dark Samus is gone, though I highly doubt we're done seeing "evil Samus clones", since there was first the SA-X, then Dark Samus. So odds are they'll keep up with the cliche like normal.

@NESzebes Dude, don't listen to that guy, he's trolling you. I liked the video. I used Action Replay which allows you to jump indefinitely, and I got on top of Sylux's ship during the fight. It's totally his ship in the last cutscene of MP3. No doubt about it.

It is not Dark Samus. I am 100% positive of this for several reasons. The first obvious reason is that the source of Phazon in the galaxy is gone. Planet Phaaze was destroyed. There is no way for Dark Samus to return. The only reason Dark Samus came back between Prime 1 and Prime 2 was because of the phazon suit. The reason she came back between Prime 2 and Prime 3 was because of phazon collected by Pirates on Aether. So no more phazon = no more Dark Samus.
