You are wrong. The car will cost a mere 43K, and I doubt there will be a large dealer mark-up, if any at all. The economy is in the shitter, and 43K ain't chump change, but it ain't no millionaire's salary, neither. In other words, since this car isn't that expensive, the buyers aren't going to be rich and make it possible for the dealers to get away with murder. They didn't mark up the old GT 500's, so they won't do it for this one. If we were talking KR, then that's a different story.
maybe where you live (in the sticks) but if you live near any major city like myself there getting a markup because of a demand for them and a lack of supply
and near me YES THEY DID MARK UP THE FIRST GT500's
I live in Dallas, Texas, moron. I guarantee that's a larger city than wherever you live. As such, what I've seen in this area is a damn good representation of prices in other large cities.
I don't know but judging on the previous models the GT500 had around 500 horsepower while the GT500KR had 540. So with that I'm guessing about a 40 to 50 HP increase over the GT500 for the KR.
I don't think there's going to be another KR. This new GT 500 IS a KR (it's the old KR engine, mods, suspension, etc. with a few tweaks made) without the KR badges. The KR has it's own engine. The 5.4 is it. They don't put anything bigger in mustangs. I would say that for the time being, this car is the pinnacle of mustang performance from Ford, SVT, and Shelby. We MIGHT see more Super Snakes (or something similar) from Shelby, but that's ordered from Shelby, not Ford.
