  • someone needs to remix dubstep in the background

  • this is seriously the best video on the internet. p.s. i'm buying one asap.

  • So basically if you fight the incredible hulk during you might lose a mag

  • lol hillarious at the end the mag fell down

  • I like the scientific and professional way of testing.

Thumbs up!You made me laugh and find my next

    mag "pouch".

  • you need to take this to a heavy metal concert see if it stays in place in the mosh pit>.>

  • What vest is that? I don't know why, but I love it.

  • you damn monkey!:p

  • Specmonkey, you may never read this comment, but your videos benefits everyone. Soldiers, Mercenaries, even Airsoft players. Subbed.

  • haha how tall is monkey??

  • fuckin tactical moshpit. Well done.

  • wow you must love your job lol that was awesome lol thumbs up

  • lol hes gone wild!

  • LOL! Can anyone say new club dance!

  • i would laugh my ass off if i saw somebody doing this

    oh man too funny.

  • monkey on the loose!

  • I was reminded of a Power Ranger.

Why not make an inverted hard mag pouch with a mag release button like the button on an M16? Or, sort of like a Serpa holster. Then you could eliminate the Power Ranger test.

  • A masterful review

  • fuck thats awsome

  • Damn... That is one really funny test

  • peanut butter jelly!

    excellent video.

  • 2:16 peanut butter jelly time!

  • Greatest Demo video EVER.

(Even Chris Farley would be proud! RIP)

  • Clayton is my hero!

  • Words cant begin to describe the awe Im

In right now. Small people have so

Much energy. Look at him go

  • Great piece of kit, I had the time of my life watching this one :D

  • Monkey you are the king of gear reviews please keep up the great work!

  • That was the funniest thing I've seen all week, Thanks!

  • Hey there milspecmonkey, I don't know much about MOLLE platforms, but I was wondering what kind of LBV you are wearing there? (My feeble mind can think of no better word than LBV :( )

  • so you recommended this video. i watched it and i was rather impressed but i think a ride in an up-armored M915 would knock it out quicker than that....

  • Thanks for taking the time to look. If still concerned, for long distance travel there is always the jump strap on the FASTmags for extra security.

  • I wonder what sort of coffee you consume :D

When you are in a sticky situation and you have to reload very fast, it surely is an advantage if you got one of those. But I guess there also will be a need of more than 3 or 4 magazines when SHTF. ;)

I use Tactical Tailor 3 mag panels, stacked in 2 rows. They are open so you get your mags fast and the strap secures them from get lost. They also have PALS webbing on the front so you can add other pouches on it or stack them on each other like i do.

  • Hey there Monkey, can you tell me what packs you have attached to the vest?

Also, can you recommend a good thigh holster for a Beretta 92fs?

    Thanx

  • wow. great video. I can see why they call you MilSpec Monkey, ya look like a monkey going berserk. hahaha. now if only i could find a place nearby that distributes the FastMag

  • Someone should caption this "I can't get my mag out". Amazing :)

  • For some reason that was extremely hilarious. Great info though.

  • have to agree I found myself laughing out loud...watching milspec monkey dance,,,

  • jesus christ! you jump around like a milspec monkey, i think im gonna get some of those fast mags now

  • Conforms to MIL-D-11747 (fitness for use during spastic breakdancing)

  • woot milspecmonkey combat dance

might just try two of these to replace my 2 cover off m4/m16 molle pouches

  • Hey Mil Spec Monkey, I see you dance the same as I do when I go disco dancing!! Just joking! I like the fastmag concept, pity they don't make them for Steyr mags which we use here in the Australian army (and the New Zealand military too).

  • omg this is just way to freakin hilarious but at the same time so kool i like it

  • That is amazing to watch...*lol*

    Very cool though!

  • how much can i get one and where if im not a military or lawenforcement user

  • lets get rid of the robots and use you

  • dude you should work in a factory as a tester

  • man you dont need that stuff.

all you need is the standard issue 16 pouch with no covers.

    never failed anyone.

    0311

  • If you are speaking of the issue double-mag pouch, it can be done, but would have low 1 mag retention. There is a reason why you don't see anyone doing your suggestion. Shingle mag pouches are the closest equivalent, but they have their own issues as well.

  • From my experience in warfighting (which includes taking Fallujah in Operation Phantom Fury) as an infantry fireteam leader, it is more realistic to have a magazine angled to your side, slightly upwards, with the concave side facing downwards.

  • If I understood correctly, a horizontal mount is possible with a Tactical Tailor 45 or 90 degree panel.

  • @milspecmonkey nevermind the part about not using full mags, i see they are full.. but do you know if a m14 mag would fit, if you could test that would be cool beans...

  • Cool...

Best part: Him dancing to get the mag out.

  • I love you, you strange, tiny man.

  • wow beautiful design... think u can make a multi- mag system maby a 3,4 mag holder?

  • This is too funny but that is exactly the kind of testing that should be done. Have you tried rolling around on the ground and crawling to see how that affects things? Also have you tried getting in and out of a vehicle quick to see if it snags on anything or jabs your legs? Also would landing with your feet closer together make a difference or do a paratrooper roll?

All and all a good test. I wish everyone was this detail oriented.

  • Music during this demo would have been nice

    Just kidding

Nice job everyone should put that much thought into what they post

  • I like the test.

Now can someone edit it and add some techno dance music to it.lol

  • I know this is extremely serious but I can't stop laughing at him. So sorry.

  • ohh, so is he supposed to be the monkey in "milspecmonkey" jk. looks like a great product...

  • I love this man, super sweet and tells the story like no other! Keep up the good work.

  • Anyone know if there's footage of the fastmags in fragmentation tests? IE ballistic?

BTW, again - thorough testing M.M.!

    - Al!

  • Funny but useful

  • It'll work with PMAGs?

  • Yes, has a pretty good grip with them as well.

  • what vest is that?

  • Eagle Plate Carrier with Cummerbund

  • You know, DJ, that routine should be called the Milspecmonkey Shuffle. The dance crazy will sweep THE GLOBE! (Perhaps beyond...)

Anyhow, thanks for the demo of the holding power of this fine system. (Man you are made of pure Booyah!)

  • now that was hilarios think about what the people down stairs must have thought LMFAO!

  • That was a totally awesome monkey dance.

  • Awsome.......lol

  • That is the most entertaining thing i have seen in quite a while.

  • Roger that, some old level III SAPI plates.

  • You've just inspired at least 32 people to partake in the new monkey workout.

  • your landlady must hate you. :D

  • look at the monkey that thing looks like it really could help our troops out.

  • You are indeed the milspecmonkey.

  • same thing i was thinking. LOL
