When I was a kid growing up in North Carolina, back in the 50's, everything would be done by hand. Now days it's a little different. Back then a farmer would put out the word and families all around would come together and by size, gender and age, we all had certain jobs that we did. Yep, those were the days.

Yes it is still like this here the farmers help out each other and work together on there crops.
