  • You people are aware that his foo gvnent is slavery based right?

This is the rean hew kcked out of his own country by the way.

It is so funny peopl listen to that man...

  • well......... pacifism in the face of these evils will allow the expansion of control....... meat eaters unite. dont let a Buddhist fool you

  • Hard work with self-confidence is MUCH important, says Dalai Lama... Yes, the same old story

f judgement disguised under effort and comparison. NO no no no!

  • Aaaah! NO, Thank you so much Dalai Lama but you represent much politics, legitimately or not, but you do represent judgment under which I am not interested anymore to believe.

Thank you so much but I pass your vision of the subject.

  • hi all, we have a short movie project about communism, about revenge and forgiveness, if you would like to watch and comment thank you.

  • As a socialist and a secular humanist I find this man's views interesting and valid. Let us not dismist any person's reality. I seek the views of the wise be they Marx, James Connolly or Budda. No single person in any single period can know all reality;. Capitalism is an invalid value system where 90% of the people lie asleep and seek goals that inrich a minority. That minority waste their time and effort seeking money. All I say is People first and things (materalism) second. seek reality,

  • @64oxfordroad Where do you think all our factories and machines come from except from the capital investments by the rich? Study some economics fool

  • What does a man who has never worked a day ever and been waited on hand and foot his whole life know about the struggles of the poor and working class? Has Mr. Gyatso ever flipped a burger for minimum wage?

  • @communistcothern So by that logic if i'm not a victim myself of rape, i have no right talking about it whatsoever?

  • Fuck of Dalai Lama and of all chalenger of China ! China will win every fight: millitary and economics fight.

  • @MiXiaoPa

    Bad grammar there.

First off, I love China, I'm Buddhist and I respect the Dalai lama, greatly. Take the time to heed his advice and you will feel happier and content with life.

Second, I'm not to sure if China has enough economic strength to "win", a last exchange trip my friends went on. They were shocked to find out that some students there didn't know what a private school is.

  • Forget about capitalism and socialism for a second. Just think about this in terms of reality.

Do you want the entire world to have the ABILITY to have equal lifes? If you said yes, read on, if you said no, your ideology will die one day.

If we are to feed the entire world it is hard, because there arent that many resources. We cant throw away recources like we do today. And we certainly cant over use. So my question is, how will the different systems solve this?

  • @gulbirk read Economic in one lesson by Henry Hazlitt!!!

  • @Coteincdr Im sorry, but the Austrian school is a prime example of an ideology going to die one day because it fails at providing. It exists for the sake of its own existence, thus it is utterly pointless.

  • @gulbirk I gess you never read the book so go and do it!!

  • @Coteincdr I have read allot on that specific topic actually. I understand the Austrian school quite well as I actually used to be a libertarian myself.

  • @gulbirk I think for what you say you never understude the price sistem and how it protect resources. And I dont think it is going to die in fact is the school of thought of fastest groing. But I wolund like to know were do you think that the austrian school is rong

  • Fucking China i hope some day some terrorist going to fuck up whole fucking China, stupid mother fuckers, fucking regime.. China = ussama bin laden = Gaddafi= nordkorea=sadam huseine

  • If you're not hungry and have a nice home, you're not poor. The poor indian, chinese and "actual african" people would give their left leg to experience your "poverty". Also, I personally know people from countries that actually have legal descrimination and they will all tell you that the only way to overcome it is to get over your personal paranoias/complexes and prove your value through hard work

Racism really is a problem in the US, but poverty and lack of opportunity are illusions

  • @seppsters i dont think i could agree with u more

  • He is 72 in this clip. Amazing

  • .

Due in part to economies of scale theory, capitalism will always lead to the concentration of wealth. Can't expect the Dalai to understand such stuff

    .

  • @Someideasandstuff

That's not what the Dalai meant. The Dalai says to be content with what you have, and appreciate it. He didn't say anything about continue on with your ways to reach greater heights.

I'm Buddhist, I appreciate what I have, and I strive to reach new heights because that's how life works. Being content doesn't mean you have to stop there.

  • As much as I respect this man regarding personal philosophy, he presents more contradictions than solutions in the international geopolitical arena. There is simply no scientific evidence that as a member of the human race you should consider all humans equally deserving of compassion, cultural equality, etc. He presents things as if the world is an altruistic cultural one, and it is not and never will be. Still on a personal level I think he has great insights.

  • @Blues353

What do you mean "there is no scientific evidence that all humans are equally deserving of compassion" ?

"Deserving" , is a value judgement, not a question that can be tested by science.

  • @warfwar91 But if you're going to rant about how people in 'poor condition' in Washington D.C. are deserving more, you have to state why others should change their value judgements (wallets, time, concerns and efforts) regarding the peoples in question. Is it expected that because others had children carelessly then largely through neglect corrupted them beyond hope that everybody else care automatically? The option to care is by choice and not automatic, not obligatory. Buddhists should know.

  • @Blues353

I agree, in general with your ideas. The modern welfare state has created a lot of lazy poor people.

However, I do think something has to be done about it. If we ignore these problems, they will get bigger and slowly decay society from within

  • Poor people in washington ? The size of the "poor houses" in washington is the equivalent to the size of 10 poor houses in China.

  • What's up with the guy in the suit? He whispered something to Dalai Lama.

  • So, I don't know.....lol

"The man who admits that he knows nothing is less foolish than the man who follishly thinks he knows everything."

    -Gautama Siddhartha, The Buddha

  • Possibly, only Anarchistic values could attribute to any long term human interests in actual SURVIVAL. Considering at this interval, survival is unlikely if elites within political systems and the investment classes of the countries of the world refuse to relinquish their power to the masses or if the masses fail to take it by force. Still, even at it's theoretically most-sound level and hashed out by many thinkers (Guerin, Chomsky, Bakunin, and others), Anarchism leaves things to be desired.

  • What's interesting to me is what all the theorists for their given economic ideology (capitalism, socialism, income in general) as users viewing this video miss the entire point of the basis of an analysis of this from a Buddhist perspective. Which simply says that none of these conditions would be any good. Period. Capitalism exploits common people to make the captains of industry rich and its political state powerful and socialism suffers from "vanguardism" in its leadership. They both suck.

  • @Bodhidharma1986

    You missed the point completely.

He didn't say anything suck, he said systems are irrelevant, the important is the value of human actions in those systems.

You can start with different systems but you'll end up in the same place if people don't show solidarity in their society.

  • 我擦!

  • If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand.

    -Milton Friedman

  • socialism is evil.

it is only in a capitalist society where a person born poor can remove themselves from that poverty through hard work.

  • HELLO , I DON'T KNOW THE HISTORY OF TIBET . BUT A CERTAIN WORD WAS USED IN THIS VIDEO THAT IS VERY PIVOTAL .IT CAN MEAN THE DIFFERENCE IN A WORLD GONE MAD . THAT IS , " COMMUNITY " . IF THERE IS NO SENSE OF COMMUNITY , AND IT IS BAD, THEN THE WHOLE SUFFERS BECAUSE OF IT . GIANFRANCO FRONZI. JULY /21/2011

  • Yeah we have tons to learn from a man who was the absolute spiritual and political dictator of Tibet. Thank you Mao for liberating the serfs

  • @MrCaracas1000 interesting. any country where a child is born into his title scares me or if they are an official religious nation. CAPITALISM when a country is officially still communist is laughable. no other political parties are allowed to organize! capital without official liberty will soon perish! ask the theater owners who cant show harry potter or other american films right now because they were ordered to show the state's film of mao indefinitely.china will soon crash!

  • SHUT DA FUQ UP! CHINA ROCKS !

  • @GODDESSSful Lies.

  • @GODDESSSful you paid by the red chinese or just a fool? tortured nuns ,history destroyed. prison for just having a picture of the dali lama. 17 years in a prison for monks, nuns, murder, totrure, you like that?

  • hi my names anthony it was given i have intrest in telling something here ok . timecube.com is there anybody who will read it and let me know what they think hmm i found it the other day and i think its fasinating so so different crazy baligerent please read past it this man i do believe is serious but also do not take my word for i am not sure ... i just thought someone listing to this vidio may find it of intrest ide like to here something about it hmm yes yes lol yes yes

  • Watch the video 'Tibetan Buddhist crimes' and you'll see just how evil the lama & Buddhism really is. Dirty little secrets behind the scenes. So much for tolerance & peace.

  • What does this guy know about anything? He's been pampered and even worshipped since he was a child. He's all theory and no practice. He's as inexperienced and useless as a college professor when it comes to practical reality.

  • Dalai Lama where is your faith talking in circles? The root is the will of posession and speculation driven by greed or fear, so let us assist to this confusion and not offering to share poisoned products from the system of posession. Love you brother but even a Dalai Lama can be wrong. Yours Grischa Ludwig

  • You are very knowledgable. Thank you.

You can pack a movie theater with people that will laugh with the hero that slights a disabled homeless woman. A disabled person on the street can be a devistated vet, a mother that lost her children in a tragedy, a person born with a condition with no cure.

Education. Compassion. A sense of community. Shame. Self confidence. Hard work.

It IS curious that China is doing so very well economically. Communist ideology, but not in practiced.

  • Most of poverty is created by Good-intentioned Government Programs such as the Minimum wage rate.

The minimum wage is a price floor which prevents the market from creating enough demand for surplus labour.

  • very wise word give to those willing to help themselfs that way their a model to all those around to follow .

  • the central principle of Quantum physics is the principle of ENTANGLMENT, We live a social imposition of fear, insecurity, competition, dehumanisation and distortions of our emotional and energetic expressions in a MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY TO PERPETUATE POVERTY AND EXPLOITATION in the interest of tiny minority ruling elite. To truly let our loving multitude of expression to manifest we need to live in a world of freedom a world of harmonious cooperation

  • The problem has been identified: income inequality. Even western scientific fields like psychology and sociology recognize this...

The trivial solution is "get rid of the economic inequality." But the implementation of that solution is by no means simple... it can't be done with mere taxes, it can't be done by letting everyone do what they want.

Personally I think we have to wait. What for? Molecular nanotech. Then primitive needs can be met "freely" (or absurdly cheaply, next to free).

  • The white race will be a minority in America by 2050. The country is experiencing a wave of nigger terrorists marauding about in gangs. The whole country is crashing down. What have you to say about this, you cowardly, sell-out phony?

  • @Sammyjackson1488 There is no such thing as a 'human race'. Humans are not dogs (dogs have breeds or races, like bulldogs ou yorkshires.

There is only one single human species - homo sapiens. And we, may we be black or yellow or white or whatever, are no other than a specimen of this single common species.

  • Inequality is inescapable in a system where the accumulation of wealth is the ultimate goal. Capitalism as we know it is an evil on part with anything the socialist world created. What is needed is an entirely new system. One based upon a primary goal of providing a base standard for every human being while still rewarding people for excellence and inventiveness. This is the challenge to close the inequality gap.

  • I AM JESUS, I AM THE 666 IN REVELATION..

THE MARKS / NUMBERS FORMING UPON MY FACE WILL SOON BE TOTALLY UNDENIABLE,

MAY GOD BLESS MISGUIDED SOULS AS NIBIRU IS GETTING CLOSER FAST

  • You dress in red! Radicalise a bit for Buddha's sake!

  • Dalai Lama is just as much as human like us all, so surely he is not God, but he might be a wiser man to be looked at. US Lawmakers must look into their heart that they must place all Americans before themselves and not wealth for their own greed. They are the lawmakers and they are being voted into the seat of power through democratic manners and they tend to forget who is their bosses...and WE ARE THE PEOPLE.

  • "There is nothing pure except the truth and the truth is God." We say to one another that we believe in the prophercy from God, but then we lie to each other daily. Dont you think that there is something with this concept? If we ran to Dalai Lama, do you think for one moment that he can find the truth when we are being lied daily by our own government that is supposedly working for the people and not for themselves.

  • @midleground Communism was originally understood to be the classless society after socialism had done away with all exploitation and the state as an instrument of coercion is no longer required

  • Socialism is the democratic control of the economy by the working class - not of government bureaucrats. To call the Stalinist dictatorships of the former USSR or North Korea, the police state market economies of China or Vietnam or the bourgeois nationalist states of Cuba or Venezuela socialist is completely bogus.

  • @JoshuaCromarty His Holiness, and most people, consider "capitalism" to refer to reality, whereas all the ideologies don't matter, and that is why he says that China thank god is capitalist and only "communist" on paper. The spectrum is from state-monopoly capitalism to market (democratic) capitalism. Often market capitalism is just called capitalism because no one willingly wants monopoly state-owned capitalism.

  • Central Planning has failed everytime. India's central planning - handlooming industry. China's Mao, Russia's stalin, everywhere central planning has failed.

What makes you socialists think that a few government officials who work for votes alone can plan an entire economy?

You would rather trust politicians to control markets than the productive businessmen who are governed by the invisible hand of the free-market.

  • @midleground No it is not. Refer to my Marx quote which I assure you is authentic. Do not believe me? Look it up but If you choose not to and believe what you want to believe then do not bother responding to me.

  • @midleground "All communists are socialists but not all socialists are communist"-Karl Marx

  • Token fucking moron screaming 'woo' at 1:56

  • But first, an advertisement.

  • @truthinlifeful I hope you realize that China is not a true communist country, but a dictatorship that goes against all the original ideals of communism. The countries that clame they are or where communist are a bunch of lies and is just a name branding. Communism and Marxism are about peoples equality, civil rights, higher learning, and etc. The problem with Communism and Marxism is that it's a utopic ideal that can't happen with human greed, corruption, and so on.

  • I guess that the Dalai Lama has not seen Phil Knight's Nike sweatshops. Improved conditions? Right.

  • Jackass.

  • People do not realize this but the Dahli Lama is a victim of socialism just ask China

  • That's ok, I understand. It's way too much for a heavily conditioned, socially-engineered individual such as yourself to grok.

Someday the light bulb will go on and you'll realize, "wow, Jamie wasn't just a dumb blond after all." (*_~)

  • The Dalai Lama is a libertarian.

  • He is right, the gap between the rich and poor is too great. To fix the problem, get rid of our fascist socialist government and let free markets work and then we will eliminate poverty from the world.

  • As Margaret Thatcher said "Socialism is great, until you run out of other people's money."

  • @jamieblond1 As Margaret Thatcher said "the NHS is safe in our hands"

  • @davijeph As Jack Kerouac said, "Oh hope, oh Pope.....oh nope!"

  • @davijeph Unfortunately, the brutal truth is that nothing will ever change as long as the privately owned U.S. Federal Reserve and other 'central' banks in Europe are tools of the world-wide system of criminal bankers, the ones who control and run the BIG show.

    Have a nice day :o)

  • @jamieblond1 Nonsense. Have a better day.

  • What, is this guy some sort of liberal?

  • @SaintTroll He sounds like a libertarian which makes him a very wise man.

  • @nikolayzou An economics student is much wiser than this idiot

  • @thirstquencherful Oh that's a bit harsh on the poor old Lama.

  • Iv sat down with the homeless before and Ill tell you that its sad and hard. You can sense their loneliness like you can sense the sun. Im always amazed at how some can remain so kind when life is that hard.

  • I see a whole lot of people talking their philosophical part but what are doing to make this place better? How often do you pass the homeless? How often do you actually take interest in those people? How easy it could be to open your home to them. It could be so easy to give them hope... But its not that easy is it?

  • I do my best to follow the Dalai Lama of not converting people. I am expanding my network to different areas of expertise. Please consider adding as a connection. Thanks for your time. Sincerely, Max Rafael Waller.

  • What an idiot

  • Come to discover a band awakened on our page, ROUGE, between rap and rock, here is an extract of thoughts:

" And yes it is very sad all this, the rich believes and justifies its wealth by the fact whether he? is a slogger, full of ideas and that the profit is the mainspring of it. But is a good doctor the one who loosens the biggest profits? The humanity can find the other engines in its emancipation and make lower the money of its divine role so that it becomes again a simple tool! "

  • Commubism is good, it needs to be practised truely.

  • @holkapolka28 what? you let your cat type again?

  • fucking chinese!

  • should Dalai Lama be involved in matters regarding the karma kagyus?

He's been sent a letter n april 2011 to accept Thaye Dorje as the only Seat holder of Rumtek.

read it here at dorjeshugden(dot)com News section

  • I agree with the Dalai Lama, the true potential for a solution is in the private sector, not through government control.

  • why do they ask a preacher about economic sytem? this itself is a fraud.

  • @MrKaniyaw He's right. Communism and capitalism do not work for the same reasons...greed and corruption. Communism is a great idea, but it is a utopian ideal that can't be realized at this time due to human nature. The fact that a CEO can make more in a bonus than an employee at lower levels will make in his entire life is injustice. The idea that employees at lower levels do not take risks is fallacy. They risk just as much climbing ladders, sitting in dead end positions...

  • @mordred612 ...risking their health in unsafe conditions, working in jobs with no possibility of advancement. We can't all be CEOs and we work together to accomplish a goal. Teamwork means also sharing the benefits of profit as much as sharing burden of work. It isn't an economic problem. We are social creatures and we rely on those around us. Poverty breeds crime and it is in our best interest to eliminate poverty.

  • @mordred612 not human nature, human behaviour : ) peace

  • @samir4hemp Both actually and I think the Dalai Lama would agree. We have our nature as humans which I believe is both positive and negative. Our behavior can be negative or positive. We have a choice not to follow our desire or negative human nature.

  • 66 people from China

  • I am no fan of the Chinese government, but this Dalai Lama is just a wolf in sheeps clothing. He comes from a horribly feudalist heritage.

  • Comment removed

  • Very sad, that we need a nobel laureate to tell us to be good to each other...

  • The dali lama is a wise man

  • yes :) thats it

  • He's right, the main issue is not a conflict of ideologies, but one of inequality. Both capitalism and collectivism have solutions for economic inequality, but people pick ideologies and stick with them and support the leaders of the movements regardless of what social changes are being made. Actions that strengthen society should not be grouped by ideology, because that limits their ability to be accepted by society.

  • HE"S TELLING HIM THE ANSWERS

  • I see too much anger in these posts. Please remember the ideas and concepts of compassion that are so important to the well being of not only you, but the world around you.

  • He comes across as quite a sound thinking reasonable man, But he really gives a naive view and idea of how to solve poverty, We know that people won`t help end social problems by themselves, We would have done it by now, And you can forget the church, "The poor will always be with you" They have quit before they have even started.

  • World capitalism is the wage slavery of immense humanity controlled by CORPORATE/STATE duopoly for the material interest of a tiny gangs of criminal ruling elite. Mr Dalai Lama CIA sponsored feudal worldview is stupification distortion and deception for continuation of USA empire versus emerging EMPIRE of CHINA.

  • @arzoyan Why feudal? I learned he is one of the last living slave owners! That's level lower than feudal. Tibet was slave owner monarchy.

  • @tagaphon Thanks for correcting me

  • amen...

  • @Phreakstep

Ghandi was a Racist, mother teresa was a greedy spender, and the dalai lama has a mansion with servants.

You sir, are quite possibly the worst human being on the face of the earth. The fact that you have internet access, while children starve and are raped in Africa, is the most definitive proof that there is no god.

  • They should ask him about theocracy and religious freedom!

  • People who support dalai lama are idiotic morons.

How can we support this guy or mother theresa or ghandi?

Did you see old pictures of his mansion?

And his "servants" in chains all skinny and without teeth?

Ghandi was a racist that cared only about his people.

And mother theresa spended majority of money for nuns instead for food and medicine.

Most people didnt had to die in the first place.

  • A moneyless, classless, stateless communities of humanity expressing our freedom in creative harmonious cooperation for a world that is so POTENTIALLY AND ACTUALLY nourishing. Capitalism in any form, Statist or Corporatist is the denial of our common humanity in a politically manipulated, tyrannical armed MARKET SYSYTEM of artificial scarcity that is designed to perpetuate the enslavement of immense humanity for material interest of the criminal ruling elite.

  • Are you serious? Class is part of nature and biology! History shows that you don't see classless (and thus leaderless) societies emerge from revolutions, not even utopian socialist ones!

What is this about mixing Statism, Corporatism, and Capitalism? Statism is not even a economic idea and is hardly recognized as a political one. You didn't even mention Laizzez-faire. That's just a lack of facts and categorization.

And how are the ruling class criminals? Just from existing? We are then too!

  • @RoyalAnarchist You are blinded and colonised for commercial abuse.

  • @arzoyan

When I read that, I laughed so absurdly loud that if anyone was near me they would have been pernamently frightened.

Thank you for your well-informed arguements

  • @RoyalAnarchist

    "permanantly frightened" lol !!

  • @arzoyan capitalism has given us & the free market world the highest standard of living & highest work force EVER. People are enslaved because of their own vanity, this comes with ANY economic system except for the ones that limit the freedom of choice like pure socialism.

Everyone wants a new car & not only one, every1 wants a new cellphone, computers, playstations, plasma tv's, blueray dvd, miracle products, etc etc thus you become a slave of your vanity, the systems not flawed, we are!

  • @prjerry7 Science and technology is the fruit of human evolution and our common heritage, We need to transcend the MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY and USELESS EMPLOYMENT SYSEM to really take care of our needs and well being. Monetary serfdom of humanity for the private gain of the criminal ruling elite is the negation of our common humanity in harmony within and without.

  • @arzoyan Maybe you should join the hippie socialist communes in the west states. They work in the farms together like an ideal Marxist would. They eat together the produced crops. They play guitar together. haha

  • @thirstquencherful For sure you have no idea what you are talking about, shame.

  • @prjerry7 The poverty level in the USA is actually higher than the median income in the USSR. Dr. Milton Friedman pointed this out already a long time ago.

  • @MsYodab USSR economy collapsed, USA had to distribute free food & humanitarian efforts to USSR twice, during a food crisis in the 30's & in the 80's-90's. Their economic system didnt even permit that nation to last a mere century.

  • @arzoyan Moneyless??????? Good luck with bartering cows for eggs

  • @MsYodab A world of plenty in harmony and cooperation for our common needs and well being requires no false limit, the imposition of MONETARY SERFDOM OF THE MAJORITY BY CRIMINAL RULING ELITE is the negation of our common humanity. wondering if ever you have seen a cow or a chicken in your life?

  • @arzoyan Wow, so many words with so little meaning. Do you have a PhD in nonsensical ranting?

  • @arzoyan capitalism doesnt offer salvation or bliss but its a hell of a lot better then any other economic or political system......marxism = hell on earth

  • @shawnzi24 understandably for you Socialism is the tyrannical regime of China and ex- Soviet Union, but if you had any courage and integrity of mind and intelligence you would have realised that those countries are integral part of the WORLD CAPITALISM. Parroting for your owners maybe rewarding for your false ego.

  • I'm not Buddhist but the man talks a lot of sense!

  • @ZarniwoopUK1 religion is not important when its about common sens!

  • The strength of capitalism IS NOT more production of important goods - WTF?! it's yachts, tanks and grand villas instead food, clothing and shelter for the many. The best solution is a highly regulated market that favors small enterprise, provides public goods and publicly manages vital interests like health, ed and infrastructure, and promotes the ability of workers to collectively bargain for their interests.

  • @musicalidea you poor diluded fool

  • All you, you should stop thinking about us like the poor, dirty, and jealous with your life, your money. We, who you think who we are. we still have families, have the money, and stand in this world like you. We don't care what capitalism inject into your brain about us. But we are forever be the good guy. We care for our son, our future, and leave all we had got for them. So we aren't rich, we aren't sinister. But our heart doing for our self know. Who care for their son, he is communist.

  • It's such a shame that people don't learn English in the world we are living right now, not just because the US runs the economy, but also because English is the eassiest language in the world and anyone can learn it. It's the most effective way to traspass the barrier of language.

  • @ivanspiks English one of the easiest? actually it's quite hard to learn. Just because we grew up speaking it does not make it easy to learn. Also French is the official language of commerce. ever wonder why all USPS have it stamps in both english and french. Yes english is important, but as much as you may think

  • @bjzorn Sorry, but I didn't grow up speaking it. I'm chilean, and when I was 8, I realized that I needed to lear English in order to succeed in the globalized world. At the age of 14 I was already fluent in it, and I learned it on my own because my family can't afford language teachers. English is everywhere, anyone who wants to learn it, can. And I'm pretty sure it's even eassier for those who can get language classes.

  • @ivanspiks Chilean cool! I just had some good friends move to Chile. I am suprized to hear that you though english was easy to learn. Good job, I have quite a few friends that are learning english and they tell me it's harder than most people think

  • @bjzorn I'm learning german now and I'm always like "Why can't german be a little bit more like English?" xD

  • The monetary serfdom of immense humanity to an outdated, dehumanising, destructive MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY is the template of the suffering of our common humanity . Divinity is SHARING OUR PLANET FOR OUR COMMMON NEEDS AND WELL BEING in harmony within and without. All metaphysical, piecemeal tinkering with COMMMODITIFICATION of our energies is doomed to fail. Only a democratic majority working class movement for a MONEYLESS,CLASSLESS,STATELESS communities of humanity is the option.

  • @arzoyan you are speaking of communism. Long live the revolution

  • @arzoyan

    well said...

  • I disagree with the Dalai Lama. While he makes a valid point that the poor can work their way up given the opportunities, I think he over-estimates the willingness of the wealthy to invest in them and overstates the benefit they receive from doing so. While this can elevate exceptional individuals, the vast majority remain stranded.

  • @kalinkasixtyfour i agree with you. because like you said the poor can rise up if given the opportunity, but thats the problem he has none.

  • The solution is not to educate people how to work for the corporations and destroy their traditions. The solution is to rebuilt this whole system so that for example if you know how to make pottery you would have somewhere to sell that without having to get 100 authorizations from the system. But people don't want to buy culture, they want ipods at the moment.

  • You can tell the Dalai Lama is 100% compasssion and love , a teacher everyone could gain compassion or love from ,I admire this man very much

  • .

He doesn't mention the wealth gap, which is a big problem in the U.S. right now.

    .
