  • Yes. A big long seizure-inducing hallway..

  • me gusta mui bueno

  • if you can make hudreds of them, and put them on a pretty strong surface where the sensors can still detect heat, you can make a fucking cool disco floor.

  • holy shit man, how long it take u to solder them in series?

  • im thinking floor

  • ir sensors are so coooool

  • i want to cover every surface in my house with this

  • ITS LIKE AVATAR

  • Are you working on some type of board that only turns on one light at a time to create a much more smooth appearance? So that when you hand flys over that a whole board goes off! It wold be better if each individual light had its own sensor!

  • @HDMSFlight Yes. :)

  • @HDMSFlight well that's a lot of work, and with that many sensors, the tablet would be HUGE like billboard huge, and the lights would be to far from each other, maybe when there are like super small sensors it would be possible.

  • @HDMSFlight I think that maybe not using one sensor per LED but rather just using a few sensors and using a processing unit to analyse the two(or more) signals, determining where the LEDs should light up would be better, - kinda like a pressure sensetive surface with 4 sensor points. ;D Also, replying to 4 month old message, I'm late. :u

  • @MrOtterWulf ya that would make more sense!

  • This must be very advance and difficult to do. Any tips for a new bie? I mean a serious new bie. I actually have great plans to make a helmet that reacts to motion.

  • @SwordGames dude no joke thats EXACTLY what i was thinking!!!!! i was just scrolling down to post that all these are useful for is that!

  • beer pong table

  • pretty cool but with the lights not goin that table looks like shit.

  • it could be used to light a hallway at night.

  • @great1707 not to

  • How to???

  • @SwordGames Never

  • @SwordGames Beautiful????

  • Only if he made it pitch black... The thing would go crazy!

  • only 10,000 leds....pshh

  • Now I get it how michael jackson did it.

  • @baznian lol...i don't think they had this back in the "Billie Jean" days...i do believe someone off camera was controlling the lighting as he stepped on them

  • Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic ^^

  • For all the nay sayers and the shouters of profanitys such as "useless" Flashing led's can never be useless! :D sparkliiiiee!

    <3 LED <3

  • very nice... very impresive.. now make me some picture frames =) lol

  • (:D LOL

  • YOU NEED MORE LEDS

  • gibt es eine Anleitung wie man solch eine Wand baut?

  • is not hard to craft...ce n'est pas dur à faire, il faut just les bons élements et sa ne coute pas cher^^ j'en ai fait une pour 85€

  • do you know where can I get the electronic diagram of this circuit????

  • @SwordGames You might be interested in this project done by MIT students for fun.

Search youtube for MIT disco Floor Demo - I can't seem to post the link which is probably me being dumb.

  • They use motion sensor..

  • where can I get the plans for this?? its damn cool looking

  • Make a floor like this!

  • how would playing a piano look like with this cool stuff

  • So this is 8 panels ?

  • do you have a schematic for the table or know where i could find one?

  • @adamannodmini Did u found the schematic diagram????

  • @MPM021

    no i haven't

  • Have sex on the thing so funny.

  • I can just imagine having my entire hallway covered with that with smoked glass on top at night! Next paycheck I'm getting a set for my computer desk since its all glass.

  • useless... but fun

  • the one with the cat as better

  • What kind of sensors are you using? IR? (sorry if this has been asked one thousand times)

  • @fromdeepitcame Yes, IR.

  • What kind of sensors are you using? IR?

  • can i buy this from u ? can email me for more detail ,, moh_sungpak@yahoo.com... thank !!

  • can i get one that is like 6 feet by 6 feet so i can just put a wall behind me when i play drums.... holy crap

  • yea can i buy those chairs from you? how much would those cost? you can just message me on my channel haha

  • Comment removed

  • can i buy the coffe table from you? how much would it cost?please send me a message on nmy chanel

  • besides having a fire jst have those lights and if your afrai of the dark.......have one on the roof

  • Definately a hallway or even a sub way being safe as you can see better as the light travels with you as you move also it save's power because it only lights up where you are ( in a subway you can see who is coming , no sneek attacks )

Get in touch with your local authorities you have just cured an energy cost problem , this could make you rich ...

Just imagine street lighting saving money .....

    Stores at night ......

Only using electric when really needed to do so .....

  • Get about 1000 of these and inch thick glass and make that my drive way! Hahahaa, only if I win 100 million dollar lotto.

  • spettaccolare ! !

  • you could put it next to a door if someone walks in he goes like"shiny *_*"

  • i would make a long hallway with that so you would never have to turn a light on you just walk through it

  • @bradforabit That's a really good idea. Hmm. I have a hallway....

  • @oskay but what about the 50000 dollars? thats likes saying well i have a lake... i shall buy a yacht

  • @shidoink Not sure where the $50000 figure comes from; these start at $85.

  • @oskay neat, but i was just at radioshack and the nice leds are about $2 and those look like nice leds so i was just thinking that there is about $800 and that hasnt even factored in whatever sensor devices and what not. thats really not a bad deal you must buy bulk wholesale then?

  • @shidoink Yes; the giant circuit boards are considerably more expensive than the LEDs...

  • @shidoink Don't shop at radioshack for LED, their over priced. some searching online and you can get them for a few cents.

  • @oskay realy thease are olny $85 minimum thats alot cheaper than i thought i was expecting round the 350 mark

  • @bradforabit

That's probably the best idea for home lighting i've ever heard.

    Quick! get a patent!

although it would be kinda wierd if it wtopped working.

  • niiiiice ;D

  • cooI stuff, but hate the music !!

  • das ist recht einfach zu bauen wert ca. 40,-

  • it would be cool if you can create messages off that,

  • what kind of sensors did you use? that's great!

  • wonder !!!

  • AWESOME!

  • how much does it cost to make?

  • @MrDaewonsDonuts to much

  • Coool!

  • i have something like this but it's an actual keyboard.. check out my video review.

  • NICE

could you send me the circuit diagram for one of the small blocks?

  • how did you make them.

from what i can see they are in small bricks.

is it possible for you to send me the circuit diagram?

  • kinda reminds me of the glowing plants in pandora. nice job!

  • this can be nice for a floor in a disco party

  • Good Job!

  • easy to make, awesome ideea :D Good job m8!

  • not that hard to make :) still good job

  • Comment removed

  • what is the music

  • Just something I made up in garageband.

  • nice but rellyy uselesss wat the hell will he do of dat

  • @TheAc1219

it will do good as a decoration in the night club on the wall maybe

  • oh im sorry yes this is nice

  • Under a coffe table or computer desk with some plexiglass over it would be sick, you put down your drink and it ripples away like that.

Even lining your walls with that would be cool, walking down the hallway at night would be an awesome experience every time!

  • ur gr8 nice ideas man

  • How much did that cost?

    that´s just soo cool :D

  • in london they are testing paving slabs that turn on as u walk over them. And also some citys pavements are made from LitraCon concrete which allows light to pass through

  • so pretty

  • Awesome but useless

  • Useless? Maybe you dont have imagination? I believe that this will be usefull. Think about advertising, rooms you visit rarely, backyards, safety etc..

  • yeah now imagine a corridor full of these and you on drugs....ohhh shit. Thats what I thought LMAO

  • LOLLLL

  • reduce the sensitivity, and imagine a dancefloor made of this! awesome

  • d00d your name says it all...Im giving you a +1 just for that.

Yeah the entire floor would be insane!!!!

  • I like the dancefloor-idea :) another +1

  • @wrongoggy Apparently you aren't creative.

  • @wrongoggy Eye candy ;D

  • better if it reacted in smaller sections then having bigger sections all reacting 2gether need more each or groups of 4 working separately

  • you must make over it opal glass over it that will be realy nice

  • llllooool^^

  • lol

  • Ok this one looks great

  • Hey ICEInterphace!

Et Kan Bi maach beter if uoy teyk sum e es el kelass!

  • this wlud be asome on a disco floor if u just make it a bit les sensetive it can be awsome on night clubs

  • wouldnt work properly because the sensors detect light being blocked. i.e. lack of light. so in a disco (which should be in a darkened room) it cant detect ur foot blocking the sensor well. good idea though, would be like michael jacksons clip in billie jean

  • it could use a pressure sensor :D

  • mostrooooooooooooo jajaja sencillamente espectacular amigo, excelent !!!!

  • Pasame la circuiteria porfa

  • The music must've been done with either GarageBand or Logic cause I recognize the Falling Star pad patch in there. XD

  • what for

  • what for?

  • YUHHHHHHHH!~~~

  • Just ordered a 6 panel kit. Im going to use it for my physics project

  • y el material cual es?????????

  • amazing

  • put plexiglass over it and make your entire floor out of tose panels. that would look cool.

  • how much would that cost? And not only the thing atself, but also the power! xD

  • haha yea ok haven't thought of that :P

  • its LED u moron....thats the whole point...its hardly costs any power...

  • I know, but an intire floor is a little too much i guess...

  • LED dont use that much power....

    Nearly anything :p

  • if i had a bar it would be made out of them!!!

  • seems like it would only be fun if i was drunk.

  • THE BRISTLE BOT IS WAY COOLER!

  • Right! what's the point oof this led pannels??? put the hands on it and make lights effects???

    boh.....

  • where can i buy one of these

  • Its a interactive table. It's awesome.

  • wow! thats a big table! ;o)

  • NICE:)

  • Damn that is too cool

  • light sensitive diodes that complete the LED circuits?

  • Phototransistors i think

  • I want to make.

  • I'd cover all the walls in my house with that if i was rich, then you woudnt need lights, the light will just follow you.

  • Comment removed

  • ok cool now show us how to make it

  • gud idea!

  • The music is amazing. What is it?

  • id put it on my wall for people walking by

  • fuck off chain LETTERS

  • dang $130 for 1 of those awesome but expensive

  • If not that, then you are paying about $15,000 for any other interactive surface. Albeit, that is for cooler interactive surfaces.

  • does it use a light sensor? and it would be better if it had a sensor (if there is one) for each indivudual led instead of a cluster but that would be painstaking

  • thats really cool. I wanna get one.. hehehe

  • and then what.. its boring after 1 week ;)

  • a musician or artist wouldnt find it so.

  • are you that?

  • I happen to play the guitar, yes. So, yes, I am.

  • that would be good for preformances

  • If you cover that whit a black or blue glass or plastic (transparent ofcourse) you can actually get a really nice effect!

    this is really great

    thk

    Bye!

  • EsO TAN FEO

  • por que? esta muy interesante para mi y los otros personas.

  • cool!

  • Do u have the schematic for this? If u do can u pm me.

  • very beautiful! parabens ...

    from Natalia, Brazil.

  • KipKay RIP OFF!!!!!!

  • >KipKay RIP OFF!!!!!!

WTF? I know Kip-- I don't think that either of us has ripped off the other.

  • that would be the sexist island in the world if those light were unter somekind of tinted glas and the board was at least 1/2 inch under it so the glass is flush with the counter...lol i love it ...keep it up...also how much and where ..i would love something like that....

  • > [...] if those light were unter somekind of tinted glas and the board was at least 1/2 inch under it [...]

Yes, that's exactly what you can do with these!

  • I remember seeing a coffee table someone had rigged up much like this. Looked pretty cool... may have even been from the same website.

    Pretty spiffy at any rate.

  • Awesome:P

    lol

  • wow!!!! i want taht thing jaaja

  • you can die

  • would be much better with more leds in it looks a little bit boring on this way

  • i agree but that would jus make it cost more lol

  • It would be kick azz if these panels were installed under a glass floor so it would light up when walked over.

  • how does this work some one reply?
