it's not that disgusting, come on. Did any of you guys develop any nasty diseases after staying there? Can you imagine the dramatic increase in water usage that would have to be incurred by washing EVERY bit of those bed linens? Sure, it's gross to think about, but harmless for the most part. People are way too germophobic these days.
I don't think you should use returned tooth soap, that's worse than the blankets not being cleaned! I'm glad the tooth soap was lost. You are both too funny. Happy wedding day!
active H, the most powerful anti-oxidant in the world?
Active H's antioxidant capacity is equal to 10,000 glasses of organic fresh orange juice or 2.5 kilos of ascorbic acid or 2,000 capsules of grape seed extract or 1,000 capsules of pycnogenol . Wow!
please could you gibe your take on this, its being promoted alot in the uk.
I'm a qualified Beauty Therapist and the first thing to do before a face mask is EXFOLIATE!! ALWAYS! Also, yep do that neck matt, the neck, hands and eyes are the first places to show the signs of ageing....booohooo
2 Mandy86 dont use cocao butter on ur face it clogs the pores coconut oil(raw organic) is the best moisturizer but it on for half hour rinse off suculent!!!
Cacao face mask sounds interesting, are u in america now, I lived in the US till I was 13 & moved to Australia, before we left we were in a hotel, I miss that soft blanket in the middle but I remember they had a little sign they started using that you could on the bed if you thought they didnt need to change the blankets, kinda nasty lol I hear that if you take a black light to a hotel room you will find traces of seamen everywhere!
Good morning... Yeah i don't believe that they wash the top two covers, just the sheets/pillow cases... You never really know, unless it's your own bed ;) Once again, I'm excited for the "Raw Union" My partner and i will be there. I look forward to meeting the both of you, and many others... Yes I hope there's coconuts too ;) I should pack a few just incase... (Coconut Boi) Have a great day. See you the 21st.
Hey Matt and Angela you could buy one of those lights that the CSI guys use to check for blood and seman on clothes. Its portable and you could check your hotel linens with it.
Also two questions: Matt what kind of camera are you using? The vids are very clear.
And second: Why do most of the Raw foodists that I have seen on YouTube NOT practice a formal religion like Judaism or Chritianity? Thanks
I actually take disinfectant spray and spray the whole room before the rest of the family goes in and I still pull back the blankets and pray over the sheets and wear shower shoes or flip flops the whole time aaaand clean a bit with some eco safe cleaner......I know that is a bit much but its what I do. Probably easier to buy an rv and stay clear of hotels huh?
Wuick!!!! I never use the blankets, pilots or towels from the hotel or any other person have used them, that is sooooo dirty and the energy is not good at all, is always better bring your own blankets, pillows and towel.
Pfft Angela said "going to be so pretty" ... You all already are so pretty! I love the clay facial party, me and my mom do them. I love all the chit chat in this video, you all are charming and your guest is a hoot describing the bean mask! Blessings for your wedding, your fans and friends are getting just as pumped up as you are.
Angela........you can be married and be Ms. Angela Stokes for the rest of the life.....it doesn't lessen your connection to Matt one bit..........you don't have to hyphenate if YOU don't want to.........go with your gut, it sounds like you're questioning an unexamined societal norm and that is so admirable!
Hey Matt!! I am bringing the coconuts. 200 freshly picked organic young green coconuts from Miami that have been only fertilized with mineral rich sea salt and glass straws to drink them with.
I'm sorry, gotta jump in here and say AMEN, what a blessing that is - how sweet of you to give them these gifts. Freshly picked organic coconuts? sorry but it doesn't get better than that. Glass straws and all! Cheers to Matt, Angela and all their beloved friends - such as yourself. May you get every bit of offering in return from your beautiful coconut trees during your next harvest. God bless you!
She's right! I stayed at a Marriott hotel a couple of years ago and ended up with ringworm all over my hands and arms. When I called them about it, they acknowledged that they only wash the comforter every 6 guests.
Hi guys, thanks for those tips....I was wondering if you have ever addressed the water topic. What water do you drink on the road and do you add anything to it, like salt? I appreciate any info on this 'cus it is so crucial every day and I am stumped! Thx very much:)
But be careful with the hydrogen peroxide--- if you have any metals in your mouth (fillings, etc..), it will oxidize the metal and that won't be too fun!!!
She's right..they don't clean the blankets. I think they do change the bottom sheets, but not the blankets, etc..and lots of folks do stuff on TOP of the blankets and dont pull back the sheets b4 they get busy..I've seen where they put the UV lights and showed stains and stuff on blankets in supposedly clean rooms. ICK!! LOL Nothing wrong with hyphenated names Angela.. lots of women do that. I dont think I would want to change mine either.
Contact the Ashland Food Coop, just south of Central Point in Ashland OR. They should be able to hook you up with a quantity of coconuts.
Keep your name just as it is if you want, Angela. We women already take the name of one man when we're born. We shouldn't feel pressured to take on another man's name when we get married if we prefer not to. It's a rather archaic (& patriarchical) practice!
Hydrated clay is also wonderful for healing wounds and is fantastic in baths for detoxification.
I love you guys and this show -- but this is definitely the most random episode I've seen. :D

Angela you were brushing against the grain, you should use up and down strokes only, otherwise you can irritate your gums.

Good luck on the coconut hunt, Matt. :)

I imagine you'd take the same precautions as you would were they using regular toothpaste, but I just wanted to check to be sure.
