im from frisco, if youre going to alcatraz then you might as well go to pier 39, go to union square which is in the middle of downtown, haight street is really fun for shopping, and the castro is a really fun gay spot w/lots of clubs and bars. as for the BRAS i say go to fredericks!! their stuff is cheaper and more unique!!
