no these are "TROJANS" Viruses. In other words in opens a port on your computer to allow strangers to login in into your computer and when you login sites they get your passwords by keyloggin your passwords. Its just like an advanced Teamviewer kind of thing.

So in principle you can say that every software that share files over the internet is able to transfer that trojan horse but the mentioned software is the main file sharing software used on macs..
