@AzurePalmsSensation my brother is a shining example of someone who was agoraphobic whom now works every day and hasn't had a panic attack in years. Also you may want to look at my videos where I am travelling everywhere.
i'm an agoraphobic for 16 years now. never really got rid of the phobia. i work all the time. the panic attacks are not that strong anymore. and still you feel uncomfortable in so many harmless situations it's almost absurd. confronting yourself with your fears is probably the only way out but it requires much courage and will power. let's face it, avoid situations seems so much easier to choose. it can get better with time but i don't think you ever get rid of it.
because i get my bous of where i feel great depending on situation + medication but then i slum back down againand lock myself up and game for months on end, another funny thing is we both love arachnids lol
i commented on one of your spider video's earlier and you sound alot like me , happened to click this one due to the name , you sound very similar to me but ive been diagnosed with major depression , generalised anxiety disorder , socialized anxiety disorder, postmatic stress disorder and now there leaning towards agoraphobia :( but yeah ive been this way since i was 13 and im 22 now 1 thing thats similar is that your assie to :D but yeah very true in what you say
Congratulations! You seem like a whole other person. I've tried SSRI's, but they never worked for me. Good advice about no matter how long you've had it, you can get better. Thanks!
