some one please help i have a snagproof tournament frog in chartreuse color and i went fishing today i got 5 bass to bite but they all got off halfway to shore and yes i waited about 3 seconds and set the hook hard drag was ok 2 so idk what the problem is

@BassinCalifornia my guess would be your not getting the hook in them good enough. when they bite set the hook hard, once stuck fish shouldn't be getting off. You can also try slightly bending your hooks upward for a better hook up percentage.

@IgniiteThePassiion YES. you will not move a fish in cover with mono. you will also get much better action out of the bait with braid.

@watchmenut these frogs get big fish. i usually throw these frogs over weed mats and right over fallen tree's. but yeah, the biggest one i cought on this was about 4 1/2 pounds.
