So, Mirasol creators, I beg you, do your best in how you build your commercial strategies, to have your display be used as a computer monitor as well. This would be a computer revolution even if few people are aware of it right now. If there was a computer monitor with Mirasol display of even 6 inch, I would buy it, even for the price of five conventional LCDs. Being able to attach it to any computer would be so much better than tablets with poor productivity applications. Thank you.
Now Mirasol offers both refreshless color reading but also video. I don't have precise evidence about this, but from what I understood, in a Mirasol display, the pixels that are not changing are not refreshed - therefore saving even more power. If you think about it, on LCDs, it's barberic how it just updates all the pixels 60 times every second, even if all it displays is a static text.
I hope soon we'll have Mirasol computer monitors. When E-Ink came, it solved the problem of reading, but with its refresh rate it could never be used as a computer display. Reading from paper and paper-like displays is a much deeper cognitive experience than reading from an LCD. And if that is true about reading, than that is true about any cognitive intensive activities. And for someone who uses the computer as a production and learning tool, what activity isn't cognitively intensive?

I have a kindle e ink but want something like mirasol to browse the internet with it more easely than on kindle.
This kind of technology is going to improve a lot of people's eye health, lcd are very bad for eyes, sadly I should know.
