A few suggestions. the rear fender cut out the edge to match the front. take off a few stickers tighten up the tailgate net shakle flip new tires fuel cell bucket seats a dash from diy4x would look better maybee an E fan i got one on my k10 big power improvment. and some detailing would be sweet!

Edelbrock? Didn't anyone ever tell you Holley carbs are WAY better? Holleys give you a huge HP improvement over any Edelbrock, and they are almost infinitely tunable. The only think Edelbrock has going for it is the fact that they are cheap. Other then that this truck is perfect!

You should paint the frame, it's really easy with rattle cans. Just clean the mud off and spray. Takes like 30 mins, you will like how it looks too.

I mean yeah, if you were going in a straight line with no bumps it would work out for ya. It would be more feasible to have the 52" leaf spring swap from a stock Chevy, then do fender well trimming. It looks cleaner, better, and is much more flexible. Some people will use this kind of set up for mud drags though since lift from leaves is really cheap.

Well ive got one under a 85...I took 2 leafs out and i think it will help alot...Havent got it completed yet but I stuck a jack under it and it seems pretty soft. If you look on the 4wheelin site theres a guy that done the same kinda but only took one out and he tucks 44s up in the fenders of course the help with cutout fender flares...I think you just jealous because we waisted our money on that because were not a fan of fender trimming.

if you changed your carb to a holley style (i use proform) race carb you should see some more hp and if you change your intake to victor or a super victor syle intake you'll see a jump in upper rpm hp anywhere from 20 to 50 hp but that cam sounds to big for a dual plane intake and in the mud who the hell is not gonna have their foot on the floor anyways?! lol Otherwise its a mean looking truck looks evil compared to my 84 sitting in the garage waiting for a short block and 4 links
