With the economic crisis, the fireworks would not be a good idea. The weather was very bad on that day. It was snowing up until noon, with severe gusts going around. The inflatable pepsi balls (which were not filled with helium) were already flying in the air and pigeons were awakened by the loudness. Firing fireworks would be very dangerous in these conditions.
