The Series UFO needed a more concrete plot line in order to hold an American audience. The idea of chasing randomly appearing space vehicles and aliens was far too abstract and vague in concept to be taken with any real enthusiasm. It was like filming disco-glitter balls in the air, and go-go girls in silver skirts and boots, with a lot of pretty-boy bell hops driving italian sports cars around without ever having a real understanding of the grand scheme of things! nice models. thats all.
@dynagravitomagnetic Because Star Trek had such a concrete plot line. Shows back then didn't really have overarching storylines - or if they did, they were very loose and not referred to often. The concept of a tv show with a strong narrative throughout the weeks is something that's caught on recently.
@MrChristian326 Thank you for the kind regard.I like science fiction, and look at things like the "billy meyer chronicles", and the testimonials of "Bob Lazar". These are the blending of science fiction and science fact, serial episodes should actually lead somewhere, don't you think so?
@MrChristian326 When one takes a real interest in these things, and goes on to investigate energy methods such as the searl effect generator, one might find that such things are actively suppressed by banks and industry in order to "preserve the money system". Documentaries about UFOs and ancient aliens are probably the best we can hope for.
