  • Anyone know why it appears that Tom Clancys microphone was either not on or at least not connected to the recording system? Unfortunate.

  • Oh God that's wonderful. I love the Pogues version but this is great too. (Shock horror - its not a competition; It's possible to like both).These guys did the song first of course - probably inspired the Pogues, as they did so many others.

  • Ye they did inspire Shane MacGowan anyway on a new movie about Liam Clancy Shae said they were 'cool' and that the song 'Broad Majestic Shannon# was a tribute to them.
