@hunterlee20: If you mean to take your character to another human's Wii without using Wi-Fi, then you need to use the DS suitcase. It doesn't have to be a DSi though.

@hunterlee20: You have to go to the gate and say you're visiting another town, then choose DS suitcase as the method. I'm not sure of the details beyond that, since I've never done it.
