Whenever I import the picture it says it's too big and when I tell it to import anyway, the image appears but when I compress and write it, the image is erased and I end up with no sprite. >:[] this is severely annoying!

What am I supposed to do to fix this problem? What's causing it?

@v6a6m6pyro Change the size of your sprite. I am not an expert but your pic has to be a certain size. Look up irFanView tutorial.

It doesn't let you use every colour used from paint! Is there any other program like this that's easy to use and you can use all colours off of paint?

@UberDeoxys use UNlz instead with APE (advance tileset editor) that way you can edit the colours you want before hand so the pokemon you put in will have the correct coours.

you need to index it otherwise, you can only use the colors that are on the pokemon sprite already. if you dont itll use the closest thing to it.....so find a video tut on ho to index sprites

change the color of the pokemon sprite that you made and put the colors of the old pokemon like a charmander ( normal pokemon in firered) and then you put a dialga, you have to make the dialga orange and the backround color MUST be the same too.
