@XxSK3L3TONzZxX You might want to make sure that you and your parents have done your homework before you get your braces. If you want to look great when they come off, make sure you are getting the right treatment. Anyone can give you the colors you want. How you look when they come off is the most important thing. @IAFGGSymposium I did have braces in my teens and i was told i didnt need a retainer and didnt have the option of getting that matal bar across the back.

So, i was at the age when i trusted the ortho and didnt think there would be a problem and then found out he was sacked! - i should have gone back immediately when i noticed the teeth moving back but i didnt as didnt think they would move much, never mind! hence why going back again being older and wiser.

Hey I was just wondering, you said the white bands go dull but does the dentist change them when this happens? I'm getting braces but I don't wanna get colours!

@chickenpieandgravy Hey, - no the only ones that go dull are the white ones really, because its white! if that makes sense.

You can get clear ones or coloured ones, I just get white to make them look more tooth coloured, feel like it drawers less attention of the braces.

@chickenpieandgravy no problem, you can try the white ones one time then clear the next to see which you prefer.

The white ones just fade to a light yellow colour, nothing too dramatic :)

I actually got silver ones because I was told they would be the least noticeable and I think they are! They only thing is they turn slightly green when I eat curry or pesto!

Have you got your braces off now? I've got mine on for another 21 months or so! But I know it's gunna be worth it in the end :)

@chickenpieandgravy haha, my white bands are fab! unless you immediately eat a curry and it turns the bands bright yellow, Ive still got the brace and will do an update video soon. It is sooo worth it in the end, :)

@aquasplash234 awe thanks, my braces are just the normal metal ones with white bands on them - but the white fades to a dully colour after a while lol, thanks x

@mantis35744 Yea, I think because I'm on the NHS & have gone back to my old orthodontist - they have done a cheaper deal, since I'm having to go throughot again!

Oh, my mums cat, I love her but she meows at my door to come in,let her in & 30secs layer, she's meowing toget out, darn her! -plue meowing in my face at 7am! Annoying!! Haha
