It's a 20 second cut in the accompaniment that is present in every recording I've found on YouTube, and the Ricci and Oistrakh recordings I own. Plus, I'm playing this concerto and there is most definitely music missing. I'm just curious as to why. Maybe it was simply the conductor's decision.
this movement makes me cry, his sound of singing soul makes me cry, so tender, so loving.

I've never heard the orchestral cut at 9:12 before. Is there a reason? Does anyone know?
