I took my little brother Jean Marco and my stepdad to see the 2:00 P.M. movie presentation of Mr. Popper's Penguins for Father's Day and we all enjoyed it.

I thought that Mr. Popper's Penguins was a perfectly delightful, funny, cute, touching and satisfying family comedy movie.

I give Mr. Popper's Penguins 4 out of 5 stars.

Just so that people are aware, this movie's an adaptation of the book which has been around since 1938. So any claims that it's ripping off of another more recent movie can end now. I can totally see why they picked Jim Carrey for this role...I can't wait to see it, he is my favorite comedian.

god i really hate this... i loved this book SO much when i was really young, one of my greatest child hood memories. but honestly just judging from the trailer it's obvious that this movie is SO different from the book that they shouldn't really even be associated. i mean in the book he wants the penguins, no one tries to steal them from him, and he doesn't have a fricken family! way to go hollywood, ruining another child hood memory of mine...
