  • you buy it

  • pshhh

    i have photofilter!!

  • If you want to download photoshop, just go to google and type,"Adobe Photoshop Downloads." And just go from there. But you don't have to buy Adobe Photoshop.

  • look on my favorites and find the free photoshop one

  • ya when i use the lasso tool it dosnt cut, How do you make that it cuts.

  • hit delete, make sure the image is NOT the background layer, if it is locked as such, right click and hit layer from background

  • like"BRIGHT Pink"Lmao

  • I have a question about this- I tried it on my computer- I opened up an image into photoshop and used the lasso tool to cut out the image- except instead of getting a checkard background I have just a white background. So now my picture is cut out but it has an all white background. My goal is to have just the image alone like yours- not just erase the background. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

  • I covered this in the beginning, but it is often overlooked. Make sure your image is not the background layer (which is a default setting when opening up an image in PS). Simply right click on the layer in the layers window and select "layer from background" - I hope this helps!

  • Ok i think i got it now :) thanks again for the vid

  • ouch! my ears!

  • what do you press after using plegone to make it white !! with out using easer !

  • jesus doode, your mike kille dmy ears lol.

thank you so much for the tut though it was Very enlightening

  • THAT TAKE 4EVER

  • dude the mic is so annoying

  • 04:05 looks like a shoe

  • wheres the polygon magingy?

  • Why does the background go white for me? I don't want it in white, I want it as a render :(

  • I covered that in the beginning, make sure that hte image you are cropping is not the background layer

  • I make a duplicate of the image so its not the background. use the lasso tool and hit delet but nothing happens. What am i missing?

    Thanks for the vid btw

  • what did u select the image with

  • that american accent gets on my tit i cant understand nothing he says.

  • too bad photoshop is an american product. You guys win at a lot of things. But as of late we own. I love you.

  • oh n dont forget to check dark AND light outlines :)

With a black backgr. and a white one

  • Im Going To Try This,

I Usualy Use the Magnetis lasso

For the Rounded Areas, But yea Ill try this 2 =)

  • I dont know really anything about photoshop but i have a problem. I am trying to take an image from its background and place it into pagemaker for a poster but after cropping it and placing it there is still a white background attached. how do i eliminate the background and just get the image? I really don't know what I am doing. =(

  • save the file as a .png image!

  • Nice..And Go Lakers !

  • I can't even render.I chose the pen tool, made the shape I wanted to cut out,and kept pressing delete but nothing happens.

  • did you follow the steps of converting it to a selection?

  • Now, how do you cut light?

  • alpha channels?

  • Good Tutorial mate!!

I would recommend putting a new layer behind this image and filling it with white. This way you can see if there is any outline on the image you cut!

  • I mention that later on in the tutorial

  • nice tut, i used pen before watching this. how do i save the inside part of the thing i masked around.?

  • I don't understand what you mean? if you want the black image there, you can just leave it as is....

  • if i cropped around a basketballm, how would i save the basketball? but i tihnk i know now.. click the rect. marq. then rightclick, invert something.. and then copy into another layer, delete other layer and keep the other part, lol

  • How to you get the pen tool to do sphere shapes?

  • When you use the lasseau, do you press ALT?

  • there is no need to press alt while using the polygonal lasso

  • I know my mic sucks :( I had to hold it in one hand and do everything else w/ the other lol

  • get a new mic

  • nice tutorial ... just get a better mic

  • Great stuff mate, very useful

  • 1. to crop something is to cut it

    2. i was the one of the heads of the largest PSD ("cut" images in photoshop format) sites on the net, so I know what I'm doing.

  • Removing a background is not called cropping, you obviosuly don't know a lot about Photoshop.

  • gangsta.
