According to Milwaukee news accounts, a different group notified authorities once this video was released to the public. So the notification was very recent.
So my original question remains - why wait so long to report this illegal activity, especially when not reporting could mean that underage girls are continuing to be raped?

What will happen to the girl if the parents find out? Is the bf abusive? What will happen if he finds out? Can they legally protect her from those two factors? Nope. Why? Okay... the whole point here is that this wasn't REAL... The girl went in to trap them so she wasn't really pregnant and it was a made up 31 year old.
The other thing is... the girl probably wasn't pregnant... and probably didn't fill out the paper work and couldn't go through with an abortion when she wasn't pregnant.

My sister went into the "Family planning clinic" to get an official pregnancy test. To save money. They were planning on trying for a child anyway. The woman in there assumed she would want to get rid and said they didn't get many women in who wanted to keep them.

I have worked in a D.A.'s office and this no different than any police sting operation. You go undercover to prove the criminal activity taking place. You don't coerce it or make them do it, you just provide opportunity for them to do it.

The ethical difference is that it's the polices' job to protect and serve and therefore use what ever means legally necessary. This is a private citizen putting their own interpretation of the law and manipulating and deceiving another person to prove their own point. But if you like me to clarify I guess that's fair too. Here I am using ethics as in what is right in wrong judged by a a set of moral principles. Since here we are speaking about why one is considered lying and the other isn't, to me the biggest factor that should be taken into account is their motives. Police are interested in protecting the law, this person is interested in furthering her cause.

The counselor thought she was talking to a frightened and immature girl. There's no indication whatsoever in the video that the counselor wasn't planning on passing this information on to someone who could act on it to enforce the law.

I'm amazed she has the time to fly around the country, testing people until someone makes an innocent and well meaning mistake. How many videos did she make before she caught someone?

Yeah, that abortion "counselor" was totally caught off guard with the whole 14 year old girl impregnated by a 31 year old man scenario. It took her a whole 30 seconds to search her manual, talk with her peers, consult with a lawyer about the legality, and point Lila towards getting a court injunction.
Oh wait, this lady was totally prepared to "counsel" Lila on how to cover up a rape. And so were all of the other "counselors" that Lila has exposed.

I don't see info in other comments about the Milwaukee DA being notified about this.
According to Milwaukee news accounts, a different group notified authorities once this video was released to the public. So the notification was very recent.
So my original question remains - why wait so long to report this illegal activity, especially when not reporting could mean that underage girls are continuing to be raped?

The whole thing is utter bullshit. See, usually yes, it is important to report. However, what you morons are not taking into account is all the factors. 1. Are the parents abusive? What will happen to the girl if the parents find out? Is the bf abusive? What will happen if he finds out? Can they legally protect her from those two factors? Nope. Why? She'd be too scared to tell them about them.
The workers are not criminals, they are merely -sane- and compassionate, and not morons.

And for two; I gave a rational response to the video's situation. It is partially irresponsible to not report it, however the reasons being not to, are indeed rational. Mostly out of compassion. If she did report it, they would make sure to get her away from her parents and bf as quick as possible to make sure that she would not be in danger. You know what most turkish families do, even in america, right? They would have killed her.

Well, if you account for the frame count then what you call FULL footage is a lie. The Wisconsin propaganda film was over 85300 frames. That's over 47 min. Yet your propaganda film lasted only 5:51. So tell me, is this what you are claiming to be the FULL video? Why don't you post the REAL and UNCUT unedited videos with the frame count?

All our footage is completely accurate. The footage that was not included was from two waiting room sessions that included the images and voices of non-Planned Parenthood staff and for obvious privacy reasons, we cannot release that publicly. We have given the 100% full tape to legal authorities.
