I have figure skated in ice and roller skates! Neither is easy! Spinning is definitely easier in ice but the spins can be more varied on roller skates, i.e you can spin on just the back two wheels or just the side two. They are both beautiful and graceful sports and take a lot of talent and years of practice to master.

i figure skate and no offence but roller skates are super ugly, and clunky! haha i think roller skating is easier too, but for me looks hard, i noticed everyone who roller skates is pretty slow haha

rollars skating ALOT harder for me expecially sense im a ice skater, i always find watching rollar skaters interesting cause it just seems so much harder with out a edge. But personally i think ice is more gracefull and faster the rollar, looks more natural

here is advice for this skater;

please stop throwing your leg out before going into traveling camel. please stop wearing long gloves. take your time on entrance to double flip. stay in the doube loop until its over. follow this advice and you will be great !!

I think it is. I always thought a blade gave you more options. Plus, the jumping and spinning techniques are different. I think they look a little less natural on roller skates.

oh man no where close to me...i am a roller artistic skater and made nationals twice when i was competing, and i can't step out onto ice without biting the dust lol...roller skating is harder because the edging is so much harder when spinning...but this is just my opinion :P
