  • I was in this concert

  • dame look at neil's drum set

  • I have a photo taken at the 1:27 mark, slightly different angle to the left (my new wallpaper). Hey I looked for you and your Colorado lic plate, couldnt find ya. Mebbe next time!! Nice vid.

  • I'm glad I went to this concert. Because Rush just rocks man.

  • Man... after all these years: Geddy is STILL a bass playin MACHINE!

  • Thanks for sharing all the great RUSH vids! I was @ the West Palm show (Section 2, Row 12), & was hoping you were in your "regular" spot filming. Sorry to hear about the ticket problem, but in spite of it, you still did a good job. I think we gave the guys a good send off to South America, now the long wait for the "Clockwork Angels" tour!

  • ACOA, do you have Working Man? That was a smokin' finish! What a show! Thanks!

  • still a great job as usual...everytime i hear now i expect to hear...Still No Guitar...a show i was proudly at also...

  • best part of the show for me, got the chills on Alex's solo...

  • I've noticed that these contrast based autofocus cameras really hunt for the focus more the father you are away from the stage. I'm guessing it's because we are shooting through the 'steam' in the air that is refracting the stage lights and confusing the camera. But nice video!

  • @MickAv8r does it up close too, i'd say it is because of the concert lighting. a device like this is not designed to handle conditions that change continually but change drastically. watchathink?

  • @ACELLOFAWARENESS You are right my camera struggled at Irvine to some extent as well, less so at Red Rocks. Its definitely the autofocus system. Its contrast based in these point and shoot and even some of these first gen video capable DSLRs that are on the market. If you have a high contrast scene its in sharp focus usually, the concert lighting, exacerbated by the steam softens the contrast and thus softens or outright confuses the AF.

  • @ACELLOFAWARENESS cont.. You'll notice that still photos taken by fans using POS are also softer than those taken by the Arrowsmith or the other pros using DSLR's which have active AF or are being manually focused.

So from farther away or the wrong angle the stage lights and the steam are more apt to mess with the AF. The angle I got at the Gibson kept the lights from shining right me so I had pretty good focus, similar being center right at Red Rocks, the lights were going over not at me.

  • I was there last night ! What a BLAST !!!

  • Great Show we all had a great time !!!!

  • considering the distance, this video is not too shabby when it is in focus.
