  • 200 right. Now

  • @XxWantedSnipexX

hahah, what? Why would i sell it to you for 250 bucks less then i could get for scrap??? :)

Plus who knows if you live close, and the things been gone for well over a year now.

  • restore that thing

  • damn thats a beauty cant wait to see whats in store for it

  • wow. you gotta appreciate old trucks. imagine how that thing looked when it fist rolled out in the showroom. awesome. i'd take it for 150 anyday

  • @wa2436

Yeah man, this thing must have been pretty incredible looking. Yeah, i got a really good deal on the truck.

  • HELL YEA

  • i got my truck for free and its way better i got a 72 gmc half ton and it was mint

  • @vintagesledhead247

So, you're better then me? Gotcha.

Yeah, i'm a dodge man, so i'm gonna go with the piece of shit dodge on this one. At least i have leaf springs :)

  • @vintagesledhead247 shivvy guys are always the outspoken assholes. everyone knows that

  • dodge lug pattern works like this....full time 4x4 has 4.5 inch pattern...anything else (and after 1981) is 5.5 inch pattern...your trailduster should have had 4.5.

  • Thats a thing of beauty

  • i got my truck for free

  • @1976chevyboy

I made about 200 dollars on this truck

  • @tommartyn old man?

  • @1976chevyboy

Sure, old man, Young Turkey, Bright Balloon, what ever.

  • @1976chevyboy somebody paid me to take their chebby for 250...so i sold it for another 250 :P

  • 150 and it runs and drives? Hells yeah.

  • 150 bucks and it runs. Awesome find.

  • Just broken in no bitching....

  • them truck will go anywhere u want them to i got 2 of em truely the best 4 wheel drives ever made

  • @crazyguy83100 I guess school was not included in your upbringing , hiyuck hiyuck

  • how can you find cars that cheap??? i dont care how bad shape a car is in as long as it runs

  • @koochaloo

Well, thats kinda how i feel too. But the reason i feel that way, is because i have a big field, and lots of woods that i can drive really cheap cars through.

But, no matter how cheap this thing was, it could never go on the road again. It was so cobbled together, and rusted out everywhere. You'd have to spend years, and thousands of dollars making this thing legal for the road.

  • @tommartyn you can make like 500 on that just taking it to the junk yard, im serious!

  • @myTAsmokesRicers

I know man, we scrap cars and stuff all the time. When the video was shot, i probably only could have gotten 250 or 300 bucks for it in scrap, but its gone up alot since. i actually saved the engine, sold the trans and transfercase, and scrapped the rest. Got about 350 without the engine and trans/transfercase

  • @tommartyn It's a pretty fool proof idea. Buy something for cheap beat the shit out of it then sell it for more then you paid.

  • After 30 years working with that and redneck weekend activities it's still working? That's build though.

  • Wonder why you got it for $150, lol.

  • @Brendan194

haha, thats awesome. True True man, the thing was pretty well beat. Most people watch the vid, and act like its an incredible deal, on an easy to fix up truck. I think you're the first person who noticed how big a piece of shit it is :)

  • @tommartyn My friend has spent over a year fixing a truck like this.

  • @Brendan194

Aw man, hows that working out for him?

  • @tommartyn It's going good actually, his truck is a 52 tho.

  • @Brendan194

hahah, Nice! Yeah, this things pretty new compared to that. Thats cool man, i wish him luck!

  • you should try restoring it (if possible) that looks like it could turn some heads with some tlc

  • @NirvanaGod69

:) it would probably turn heads like this. hahah, Yeah, it was beyond restoring unfortunately

  • wats the mpg

  • @keco28

A truck in this kind of condition, isn't suitable for the road. So it would probably only be good for farm/field use. and doing that kind of driving, the MPG would be very very low. maybe 4

  • thats pretty decent for 150 bucks

  • I'd see about possibly doing something good with that one.And a Hurst floor shifter will save you heartache when the column shifter starts jamming up.Of course if the body is complete shit then it may be harder. But you might be able to find an old 40'-50's cab to put on there. That'd be pretty wicked.

  • @heliarche

Yeah, the column shifter wasn't even hooked up, none of the rods were there. it just had a pole through the floor for 1st and 2nd. Yeah the body was pretty bad. I had to get rid of this truck this summer when the township made me get rid of all uninspected cars except 2... But i kept the engine, and sold the trans/transfercase/passenger door to the guy who bought the trailduster off me.

40's/50's cab would be awesome man :) I like the 60's ones too, they're pretty nice looking

  • that thing runs better then my truck and i spent 3grand on mine LOL

  • I baught a non-running 74 like this for a hundred bucks,wish mine would have been running

  • @EJthecountryboyGRAY

Did you get it running, or was the engine shot?

  • @tommartyn To be honest with you I havent had the time or money to try yet but I am going to either try and get it running, rebuild it or I have thaught about dropping in a diesel, dont know yet. When I upload some videos to my account I will have a video of it on there. Thank for asking, and hope your truck project goes well!

  • @EJthecountryboyGRAY

man, a cummins diesel would be awesome :) my friend has a 93 with a cummins, and they are awesome. You can get alot more power out of them by some pretty simple adjustments that are completely free.

but it would be easier to get the engine thats already in there going. Hope that works out for you man :)

  • man if i had that truck i treasure it

  • Looks like some straight Texas Chainsaw Massacre shit. How many bodies have you hauled back in that?

  • @666SixSICSix

hahah, yeah i guess you could fit a decent amount back there. Would be better with a standard size width bed though. this is a step side style, so the wheel wells are on the outside instead of the inside, alot less body room. If you know what i'm saying, erd me erd me erd me?

Probably wouldn't be the most low profile vehicle to be hauling bodies in though, Inspection stickers that expired in 94 or something, no bumper, different color doors and hood, no headlights... suspicious

  • Lil' Red Wagon?Yeah forward gears.

  • @beartownjon

Nah, this is just a W100, not a little red wagon, i think little red wagon's were late 70's, 2wd, and 440 powered.

What do you mean forward gears.

  • @tommartyn Little red wagons were 2wd and 360 powered. The lighter weight of the 360 more than overcame it's power handicap compared to the smogged out 440 at the time.

  • Lil' Red Wagon?

  • please stop beating on Mopars dude.

  • @Megafan61

"By far the dumbest video i have ever seen."

Thats your comment from my other video that you left a comment on. THEN, after watching the Dumbest video you've ever seen, you watched another of my videos...

After seeing the dumbest video ever, I probably wouldn't watch more of the person's videos. Unless i wanted to watch videos, i wouldn't like... But in that case, if i was choosing to watch videos i don't like, then i probably forfeit the right to complain about them.

  • @Megafan61

ALSO, Seriously - BEATING ON MOPARS? With this video? Are you completely out of your mind??? Did you in anyway actually see the video? Its going about 2 mph max... I'm going to send you a few videos of us ACTUALLY beating on mopars. So that you will know what that is.

By the way, this truck? Totally JUNK. Not road worthy, nor does it have the potential for it to be. If i wanted to beat the shit out of it, thats totally my choice.

  • you got lucky gettin that for 150 bucks, i bet that old truck is tuff. dose the 4x4 work good in it? if so youre double lucky. lol.

  • @ClassicRockfan79

Yeah man! The 4x4 worked perfect in it. The shifter for the trans didn't work though. It is sopposed to be a manual 3speed, on the column, but the column stuff was missing levers, and didn't work. So there was just a pipe through the floor, that was on the 1st and reverse lever :)

  • @tommartyn my uncle had a 79 dodge long bed 4x4, automatic, 318 v 8. it was faded red , the floor pans and rocker panels were gettin bad on it, he used it around his farm, then found an 02 dodge he wanted, so he put the old one up for sale for some extra money, he gave me first choice at buying that old dodge, i passed, now i wish i had my ass kicked for not buying it. he sold it for $750, it was a damn good tuff truck, i ask the guy that bought it to sell it to me and hes not selling. lol

  • racism has been around alot longer than there has even been a U.S. it's here now and it will be here long after you and i are gone. Just accept it in silence. you went so far off topic that its not even relivent. If you want to debate racism and such i'll be glad to. Just not on a comment section of a pointless you tube video.

  • All black people crying racism nowadays. Hartford Distributors massacre, those guys wanting free college in return for their ancestors being slaves, what the fuck.

  • @HedgehogAirsoft

There ARE a shitload of racist people out there... I see it all the time. Its disgusting, and makes me hate humans in general. It fucking sucks. One of the major things wrong with this world is racism... Senseless fucking hate carried through the generations, taught by family members... its like a plague or something. A virus

  • @tommartyn Yeah. They can make a movie called White Men Can't Jump, but if we make a movie called Black Men Can't Swim, then we're racists.

  • @HedgehogAirsoft

I don't think you understand what i mean. What i mean, is that there ARE a shitload of white people who are racist toward, and about black people, mexican people, and other races who aren't white. THAT is what i hate. I don't care that people complain about racism, because it is horrible, and it does need to stop. It makes my stomach turn. Black people didn't make White men can't jump, white people did. And white people made money from it.

Either way, its a joke saying

  • @tommartyn oh

  • @tommartyn Either way, I don't like it. I live in a town with 100 colored people at most, and most of my friends are not white. I know somebody who's dad really hates blacks, all he does all day is send racist jokes from his phone. It gets really old really fast.

  • @HedgehogAirsoft

Yeah, someone sent me a racist txt the other day, and i told him not to send me that shit. He apologized, and i don't think i'm going to see any more of that. it still sucked though.

  • @tommartyn agreed racism is horrible... true talk man good job

  • @tommartyn whats so wrong with racism? its just part of life. blacks are more racist than most white people i know. what's disgusting is a race of people who try to get everything handed to them for free because of some stuff that happend not even to them but to people over a hundred years ago. The jews had it way worse and they dont cry near as much as blacks.

  • @beachbums86

"whats wrong with racism?" seriously? how can you care so little for people to even be able to think that? Those people you mention, who try to get everything handed to them? Thats what People do. Not black people. People in general. There is a huge huge amount of white people who are the same way, they just don't have the slaverything to use. But they're awesome at suing companies and people for nothing. Thats called being a shitty person. Not Being black, white, ect

  • @beachbums86

thousands of white people (and i'm sure there are some black and other races in there too) are drilling for natural gas all over the country. Here in pa its going on like crazy up where there is alot of gas, but people don't have much money. The drilling process uses seriously damaging bad chemicals, and it goes under ground, and is leaking into the water supply, and destroying waterways and peoples wells. Poising them...

  • @beachbums86

Now that is a horrible, disgusting thing that White people are doing. a million times worse then some lazy fucks who happen to be black trying to get something for nothing by complaining about slavery that happend to their ancestors. They are leeching. These people drilling across america, mostly white people, ARE destroying peoples drinking water, and the enviroment all in one. Towns have been evacuated... Its bad. But that doesn't mean that ALL white people are bad.

  • @beachbums86

Do you understand? Its as simple as this: Not all the members of ANY race are one way, or another. So it isn't ok, in anyway, to sterotype the entire race because of what some of them do. White people, commonly called white trash, do the same shit.

The thing with racism is just this. Its WRONG. no just moraly, But Honestly. The practice doesn't hold water when you look at it logically. Its BULLSHIT. Shitty people, are shitty people. It is NOT due to race.

  • I wouldnt have scrapped this.. I would have it painted cherry red, chrome steps and bumpers.. just like the one I had in the 80s..sad to think it got crushed

  • @originalredneckgirl

i'm sorry... I had to get rid of it, township cracked down on me and gave me only a month to get rid of 30 cars. i had it on craigslist pretty much the whole time, for cheap. No title though. And i had a few calls about the bed, but no one followed through. This thing was in really rough shape though, way worse then you can tell in the vid. The whole drive train got saved at least.

Its sad to think about all the cars and trucks we had to scrap...

  • u over paid!!!!!

  • @milwaukeegregg

haha, you dumbass. I just got over 300 bucks for it when i scrapped it. and that was after saving the engine for myself, and selling the trans and transfercase for 75 bucks... and we got to beat the shit out of it a few times.

So just to recap, i'm thinking i under paid.

  • i wish dodge still made the stepside. i love the stepside. i own an 03 chevy silverado stepside z71. what did you do with that one?.

  • I know you are an asshole with me cuz I'm black.FUCK YOU RED NECK W:TRASH TRAILER HOME

  • @Nicolais73

I'm not an "asshole with you" you're an asshole with me, and it has nothing to do with the fact that i'm not black, it has to do with the fact that you watched my video, and then left an asshole comment. So you are an asshole. Whats the point of being mean to people???

    I'm not a redneck, and i live a house.

What the fuck is your problem?

  • @Nicolais73 Rednecks ftw im one and so are some black people heritage not hate DOUCHE!

  • @Nicolais73 of course ur black hating on someones video for no reason. just means ur an asshole

  • looser fucking stuoid red neck! You wasted my time with that p.of shit! You MOFO

  • @Nicolais73

First off, Obviously FUCK YOU. I'm not a redneck. A am a loser, but that is neither her nor there.

As for wasting YOUR time, That would be you wasting your own time. Why the fuck are you watching videos you don't even like? Dumb mother fucker, you're in control of your computer. You are a severe asshole.

    Seriously though, you suck.

  • lol do you drive that to school because i would

  • @biddycy

I totally would, if i was in school, and this thing was road legal. people would be laughing their asses off at me. :)

  • danm dude 150 dats a bargan

  • Dodge trucks dont ever die and this proves it.They just rest.

  • its a 1974 power wagon ive got 2 of em i love these trucks

  • @danbitch1994

haha, Power Wagon's are awesome, but this isn't one of those very strong, large heavy duty trucks. this is just a bottom of the line, W100 4x4 1/2 ton dodge pickup. 3 on the tree, probably had a 225 in it originally.

  • @tommartyn I have a 74 Adventurer, love it to DEATH

  • @KingOfTheClutch

Nice! I almost got a 78 Adventurer one time. It was orange, 318, stick, and 500 bucks. Some one else got to it first though. i was pissed.

  • @tommartyn Mine was a shell when I got it.

I've got no pics of it then, but I have some of me almost being done with it.

message me via my profile here with your email and I'll send you some pics.

Mine is the Mopar Orange (needs redone and a few trim pieces and emblems) then it has a fresh Mopar Performance 360 Crate motor in it, long tube headers, 727 trans and a redone interior.

they are great trucks and if you ever need to sell them, they are pretty easy to sell when the time calls for it.

  • @KingOfTheClutch

actually i was wrong, it was a voyager? i don't even know if that is real.

  • @tommartyn Notable models produced during this era were the 1978-1979 Li'l Red Express, the Warlock, the Macho Power Wagon and the Adventurer (Note: All Li'l Red Express Trucks were Adventurers, though not vice versa). Another rare model is the 1978 Midnite Express. I've heard of the voyagers, but my all time fav is the prospector, good luck finding one for less than $5000

  • ill give 400 if ur anywhere close to west ky

  • @hooksmason

Nah, sorry man, i'm in PA, but thanks for the offer :)

  • @tommartyn where in pa?

  • put the bed on ebay as a little red express bed and get 300 at least for cuz there all the same beds

  • Thats a really good idea man... I really should do that, because i'm never going to use it on anything other then a field truck, and thats pretty pointless. Some one could get some use out of it. Its not in terrible shape either. Thanks!

  • just tell me if it works

  • Tell you if what works? selling it?

  • yea if u want i just like to know if i helped anyone

  • Actually last year I sold a 78 short bed lifted built 360.. I wanted a stepside bed but couldnt find one near me..

Build the 318 , paint light blu and repair the body , lift 36's

  • ill give ya 155 for it.

  • What would you do with it? :)

  • yea dude in my opinion that was an awesome deal.best deal i ever got was an 86 cherokee for 250 bucks.

  • This was a pretty good deal, though its not road worthy in anyway, and never will be. Thats a good deal too, what engine was that? in the cherokee

  • your tires are pretty much flat.

  • Depends how you look at it :)

  • that was a steal!

  • yeah it was! :) very rusted, and no potential of a road career left in it, but definitly cheap for alot of run to be had :)

  • dam that truck has alot of life left in it it will be fine i bet it will pass in spection if u know the righe people

  • It has alot of life left in it, but it is in no way inspectable. Right people or not, it is seriously fucked. It could be a parts truck, or compltely torn down and rebuilt. Thats it. The steering wheel, (for starters) Has 3/4 of a turn of play in it. you can litterally turn it 3/4 or a turn all the way around, before it tries to move the wheels... its a manual steering box, and its shot. No brakes, Severe rust, No ftont bumper, toggle switches for igntion... It Is retired.

  • my truck has a few inches of play in the stearing but my budys old ford has about one whole turn before the wheels catch up and its his daily driver he has no problem driveing it ive drove it one its the big mudd boggers compinsate a bit

  • Love the lights!

  • the totally missing headlights? :) they are bright! :)

  • ahh i see.. yeah im thinking about just pulling one off an old dodge RV we have. mines pretty rare, with only 1700 macho's on the road in 1977. but yours is a stepside, so probably about the same. nice truck man! cya around.

  • holy shit, i bought mine for 200 dollars, it looks exactly like this, it even has the yellow hood and doors. iv been having problems with the carberator too. cept mines the w100 power wagon macho ;)

but yeah, mine has the 318. strong little engine. holley 2245 carb has been giving me alot of problems. mines a 1977. this is crazy how much is alike. you got MSN?

  • Nice! thats cool man. You should think about getting one from a junk yard cheap :) thats what i did the other day, thing works awesome now. got a carb from an old ram van. That is funny the same colors and all. 318 is a strong engine! :)

msn messenger, or ignition? I've got neither though. :) and i put a distributor in it with points, so i don't have electronic ignition at all. :)

  • cool rig,im gonna get me one!

  • Nice man! Hope you find one cheap!

  • so do i thanks!

  • lol, had to do that with my old 87, computer for the ignition stopped working lol. to bad i scrapped it ='[. dad took the 318 out of it in 3 seconds with a front-end loader lol broke the transmission on half. but we still have his 83 dodge with a 78 440 in it, still runs after 11yrs of work and no service, look at my channel, i got a few vids about it lol.

  • thats an awesome truck for 150 do you still have it

  • yeah! still got this beast. but the carb is shot. doesn't run at all. Need to find another 2BBL for it. and then maybe buy a floor shifter kit from pepboys for it. It was three on the column, but all the linkages are gone. so there is just a pipe sticking through the floor for 1'st and reverse.

  • I have the linkage you need. I have a '72 2wd with 318 and 3 on the tree, and I'm probably gonna part it out.

  • aw man! that couldn't possibly come at a better time! :) we JUST got that thing going. this footage is probably from 4 or 5 years ago, and yeah, :) JUST got the beast going last weekend. the pole sticking through the floor for shifting is not working out anymore. :) I bet its the same trans! :) theres a drive shaft going from the trans to the transfercase:) we've been talking about is how great it would be to have those linkages :) That and make it so the steering column doesn't rotate.

  • get a police pack spread bore intake manifold and a thermoquad or a quadrajet for that thing, i built up my 73 D100, 318, NP435 4 speed, 8 3/4 rear diff with 4:11 posi, and put an intake on it from an 87 dodge diplomat squad car and an 850 cfm thermoquad i build and jetted myself, itll light em up through third gear. that 318 is one hellacious high revving motor. definately more peppy than my 400 big block chrysler, but lacks the torque that the 400 can hammer down.

  • fuckin awesome dude i love old dodge trucks.....they are tanks....i think that's why the Russians wanted so many of those damn things

  • i love it, im serious im a huge dodge truck fan and i love any dodge truck, dont be ashamed of this truck, its a living legend.

  • I'm proud to have this W100. :) the thing is awesome, and i can't wait to get a carb for the thing so we can use it.

  • thats a sexy beast!! ive got an 84 2 wheel drive prospecter, 392,000 miles, still runs like a champ, all origanal miles, only had to rebuild the carb once, other than that the only thing ive ever replaced is the alternator!! of course it has the 318 and thats a big part of why its still going, but ive jumped it, rolled it, flipped it and the thing just wont die!! cant wait to rebuild it! and yeah, i know what you mean, its not worth $100 to anyone else, but i wouldnt come off it for $2,000!!!!!!

  • Haha, That is awesome man :)

Yeah, thanks for telling me about yours. We're on the same page with these cool ass trucks.

    Keep moparing it up. :)

  • haha, wow. You DID just contact me! haha. alright... well think about it like this, you could make alot of money filming me fuck my family members, so how about a little respect here, if i'm going to be some kind of cash cow for you. I'll make sure the goats are fed, you just make sure you have film in the camera, and the battery is charged. Sound fair?

  • Just spend 30 bucks on a kit and rebuild the carb you have....Its not hard I figured out how to do it my self when I was 14.....and have done several for my friends and family ever since.....Be careful with the grill on that truck man.....Looks like a pretty nice grill.....The 74's came factory with the big bolt pattern since they were part time 4X4.....

  • man i got one there easy and cheap to fix . make sure when ur muddin to drive the hell out of it. u wont regret it it is a blast. i have yet to kill mine and ive been using it for 6 years.

  • Oh yeah! Thats the plan! were gonna drive the hell out of it for sure. i've had 3 ramchargers, and a few pickups... these things are great! can't wait to get a carb for the beast!

  • why dont you sell me that truck?

  • i don't know for sure...

you probably live to far away to get it,

its in worse shape then you expect probably

i really really really like the truck and want to get it going soon

i'm sure you wouldn't give me even close to what would make me want to sell it. which is understandable. because i dont' sell stuff really, i buy stuff.

and i'd be down to only one MoPar 318 if i sold this pig... and that really wouldn't be right would it? though i'd still have 3 mopar 225's! better engine?

  • that thing probably has some serious mudding capability

  • Yeah... ahh man. thats all i think about everytime i walk past the thing in the field... i've had it for probably 3 years now... really wish i was romping that thing.

  • restore it

  • that Dodge is fucking badass. Don't beat on her, its too rare.

  • its pretty pieced together, in some really rigged up ways. but i really just want to use this, mud it some, but nothing like the trailduster, and pull stuff out with it, get fire wood, the bassic cool stuff. but first off, i need a working 2BBL carb. Bad.

  • check ebay

  • i have... but i'm worried about that though. because i already have about 4 that don't work.. and i don't really feel like buying one, waiting for it to come, putting it on, just to find out that its been sitting for 5 years or something and its all gummed up inside from old gas... it sucks. could buy one from autozone... can't be that much. just an old 2 BBL

  • yeha my brother got a two berral rodchester for 200 bucks

  • Nice. thats not bad. i'll probably do that.

  • yeha id do that

  • @YouraN1993R

Too rare!?? Are you retarded?? Dodge sold thousands of these things.

  • @Sarcasticscum

:) yeah, this was the base model, except 4wd and maybe that bed. but it might not have came with the bed. but 3 on the tree, and who knows, maybe even slant 6 powered at first :)

  • @tommartyn

You certainly have only profited from buy this truck though.. Looks like is has some good sheet-metal fora truck that's been up north.

  • @Sarcasticscum

Hey you fucking retard, ever heard of time? It's a 74, how many of those do you think are left? Maybe 1/4 if were lucky you fucking moron. Therefore it's rare and hes kicking the shit out of it. I'd buy it from him if I was closer

  • @YouraN1993R

Haha, Riiiiiiight whatever dude. I know of at least 5 3/4 ton Dodges in my area that are around this same model.

  • dam nice!

  • old dodge stepside i like that my dads got a 74 dodge mudtruck we got 318 with 360 heads come out of a 81 grand fury old potrol car its a beast

  • Nice! i'm sure that thing rips pretty good. manual? got any footage of the machine?

  • na automatic i got a short vid but its not the best and some old pics when it sucked

  • not at all lol

very unique design they did though

more vids of this and the trailduster, or w.e the thing was that was climbing that big dirt hill lol

  • i'd love to make some more vids of this and the trailduster, but neither of them work. The trailduster needs a donor 4 speed vehicle, and this thing needs a carb BAD. it dosn't run. this one dude's sopposed to be giving me about 3 2 BBL carbs, but he's been fucking me over for more then a year now. Thats whats holding this thing up. 4 speed dodges from that era are rare. sucks.

  • i mean divorced

  • is there some point in that? know what i mean, why would that be like that? does it do anything?

  • be a cool mud truck if you do it right

  • It'll be a cool mud truck if i can just get it to run again

Its a crazy setup, its got a drive shaft between the transmission, and the transfercase!

  • wtf lol
