I had a blue nosed pitbull... he was the most playful dog ever! When you got home he'd jump on you and run around the house like crazy... He died just a bit before his 1st birthday... I miss Ike T_T
My wife and I bought a Leomberger as our first dog from a breeder in New Jersey...she was the best dog we could have ever dreamed of. Unfortunately, we lost her after only 7 years, probably cancer, she just stopped breathing with us in our living room...they are truley the best dogs.
Nothing beats a Leonberger. We just lost Bear, our wonderfully loyal, smart and playful Leo of 14 years. He was the best dog we could have ever wished for.
@azaaza0909 14 is amazing for a Leonberger. Ours is 3 and thinking she might only be with us for 5 more years is quite upsetting, I hope she trots on until 14.
Assuming you're set up to deal with either breed....Leonberger, defiantly. I been around large breeds like the Newf, Pyrenees, and Leos. Leos are scary smart and have amazing personalities.(each their own).
My sons Jack acts the same way with my Saint Bernard. He sure can keep up with her but then shortly after they are done playing? It's off to snore land for the both of them. Not to sure which one snore louder? LOL Love your little video. Too cute! Thanks for sharing...

@gmdqst888 Leonbergers are buddies for live. Once you had one, you don't want something else.

@gmdqst888 wow 14 years old isn't that very old for a leo
azaaza0909 1 year ago
@azaaza0909 Don't know if you've had an answer, but the life expectancy for a Leonberger is around eight years. So this dog is actually quite old. :)
