  • Right on!

  • Why all the trouble and money for noodles when two liter bottles work just as well and a lot cheaper? Tie the line around the neck and float a dozen of them...

  • @wugrut - the noodles in Texas have to be white. I could use 2 liter bottles, but they would have to be wrapped with white duct tape or spray painted white.

  • you can also use 2 liter pop bottles ill make a vid on it soon check out my channel.. 07minkman.. love your vids

  • Who the hell thought of this!?! Freaking genius.

  • I like the idea of this, but when they fish feels the pressure of it, wont the fish let go?

Great Video though, never could I have thought of this.

  • Hey man , where have you been . We are missing you and your posts .

  • hey kevin where you at, we miss your videos,my kids watch them with me and we learn alot thanks

  • Hey kev, I hope all is well. I dropped you a private message here a little while back about problems getting an account set up on the forum while using privacy-enhancing software. Can't get past the spamwall on the site but I'm definitely not here to spam. I hope that, with your help, I can get my account going and participate more completely.

  • you probably noodles in your sons as you fag

  • might want to chamfer the drilled hole too

  • Informative video, but I think your noodles look a bit too small. A truly large fish, one in excess of 35 pounds, can easily disappear with that small rig. I have been trotlining and juglining since I was a kid, and I have always had the best results with one gallon milk jugs. I have caught 80 pound blues with the milk jugs, and never lost a fish. The line weights and hooks are good choices. I can't spear for Texas, but color does matter in Florida. And use the tarred line if fishing

  • are you going to have a video up soon of them in action, i love jug fishing

  • pvc is just a waste of money to me . it works plenty find without them

  • Plastic bottle works the same and there is no cost, no assembly or drilling or any construction involved. just cap tightly and go. It's called jugging.

  • Great job I'll have to try this....can't wait to see it catch some cats

  • Can't wait for the update to see how it works. Keep up the great work!

  • Before you make too many noodles take a look at Journeytheoutdoors page he make noodles witha little different twist .

  • i'm suprised that you don't use transparent fishing line instead...

  • That's a very interesting idea. I would like to hear from you if it actually works the way you thought.

I'm pretty sure we can't use riggings like this in New York.

    WOOHOO! Freedom Rocks!!!!

  • A very easy way to do that and less expensive way is.Nothing more than noodles, clothes hanger, cheap small christmas bells And string.Jim duckworth has the best idea.He is a local fishing guide in Tennessee

  • They just made noodling legal here in Texas. We use to do something similar for turtles, we used gallon milk jugs instead of fun noodles. When I was a kid we used to rock fish for catfish and catch them with our hands.

  • Awsome video my friend, cant wait to see them in action, down here in oklahoma we use mainly jug lines , they are very easy to set up and use

  • I would never eat cat fish, Jesus Christ is clear your not suposed to eat bottem feeders, jack fish is much better to eat, you just gut them and scale them and then roast them over a nice fire with some garlic and chives and seasonings, Mmmmmmmm

  • @SpaceMan131326 Dude what crack pipe are you smokin, Fish is fish weather it is a bottom feeder or not it all eats the same kinda thing ...geez

  • im gonna make some of those today great idea thanks!

  • Very cool idea, thanks!

  • You should look into using Dog retriever dummies. you can get them in white and they float and have a hole for attaching a rope on one end.

  • how much bouyancy does the 8" noodle provide?

  • when using pvc, u might be better using plumbers glue. that shit will never come loose.

Very interesting idea! will tell my fishing buddy and make one up for him to try! Thanks

  • What kind of watch are you wearing?

  • @Scotthockenberry - Timex Expedition

  • what type of bait do you use? can't wait to see the results.

  • cant wait to see them in action

  • Just a note duck tape dos not work well when it gets wet. you might want to tape it starting on the cap and over the bottom of the foam onto the pvc . that way even if it lets go of the foam its form fit around it .

  • 24th

  • Cool idea hope it works well. Why does the float have to be white?
