@furfeyl Actually, the limit on the 360 was hit with the release of Gears of War 2, it's not that the 360 doesn't have power (although compared to PC's the 360 is far behind), it's that developers are getting lazy with engine coding. Both microsoft and sony are trying to push the release of the next generation of their consoles to 2015, with the release of the Kinect and the Move. On valve's end, yes Half Life 3 was split into episodes to decrease the time between releases.
