@Cuteblondie1972 That makes two of us. I had nightmares about this frog from this skit from 1975 until 1979 or 1980. Seeing that frog swallow up that fly alone was a scary sight to see. Not mention seeing the frog's teeth(?) when it went bzzzz!
Even though I had nightmares about this animated frog, for some reason, I never feared Kermit the Frog. As a matter of fact, none of the Muppets on Sesame Street ever scared me, not even Harold/Beautiful Day Monster.
When I was a child back in the 1970s, I had nightmares about this animated frog from the age of 3 up to the age of 7. In those nightmares I had about this animated frog, the frog tried to and sometimes did swallow me whole. Strange, but true.
where the hell is the cartoon of the man being woken by a fly zzzzzzzz he says
"what was that? a FLY" zzzzz It buzzes out the window then the phone rings & he answers & its the bloody fly buzzing in his ear through the phone now! zzzzzzzz how bizare & twilight zone like.
THe funny part is that I've only seen this one once as a child-yet it remained in my head so vividly. The ending creeped me out a bit as a child though.
I also remember seeing "this Frog" right after it.

When I first saw this I thought the frog that turned into the fly would eat the fly that turned into the frog because on all the other animal changing places the animals changed their looks but not their habits.
Yeah, that would have made more sense. And another thing. Notice how the small frog (formerly a fly) buzzes first, but then croaks after eating the big fly? What's up with that? A mistake, I suppose.
Does anyone have any idea as to who is narrating? Sounds like the same guy in the turtle/rabbit sequence.
THIS IS SO DISTURBING BACK THEN..

I remember this. Do you have the one where an anteater turns into a giraffe?

It used to be up here, but it was needlessly removed.

I was even surprised the frog and the fly did not change sizes as well, but the elephant and mouse did.
