I know this is cliched statement but "suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem". I live in a town that is known for high rates of suicide, why just today, one man leaped to his death from a highway bridge not far from me. Suicide is tough to prevent, I feel like suicidal tendencies can be felt by anybody, no matter how "successful" or "put together" said individual is seen by everybody else.
I've been cyber bullied last year- at the age of 28! It is very painful- no matter the age. But it's also so juvenile! Why people decide to do such a thing is b/c their lives are also miserable of some form. Like the one who's bullied me, IDK why yet, but he still does so- but I also notice he's nice to others. I honestly think he's highly bored and needs at least just 1 person to go after. There are people out there like this, sadly.

And ALSO at age 17! nervous meltdown for her as well. We've made a pact to take no more than 3 different meds, narrow it down, and stick to multivitamins and water.
I highly recommend the same for anyone else- even if further mentally unstable. Water cleanse you out! At least 3 cups +.

Good message. I was bullied for many reasons as a child and I remember thinking if I kill myself the bullies got what they wanted. Never thought of it again after that.
When I was in grade 8 I was moved to a school for one year where I experienced one of the worst parts of my life. I was beat up almost every day, spit on, choked with chains (literally), mocked, insulted, even forced to bow down and clean certain people's shoes.
When you are a young child and have no parents who instilled any kind of value for life or gave you any ability to defend yourself physically or psychologically, if you are sent into some schools you can almost get killed. I know this.
When you are a naive child you are also too ashamed or embarrassed to tell anyone you know that people are assaulting you. In my case my parents were evil to me as well so I did not know anyone who could help me and I did not have the thinking ability of a strong minded adult to help myself either. Thank God it only lasted just over a year. I do not support sending children to public schools in many areas because of these kinds of things which are deadly serious. Those who disagree were bullies.
I personally know of 4 people that have committed suicide. Believe me when i say it HAUNTS those that are left behind . Of the 4 of them 1 especially HAUNTS me EVERYDAY. It stays with you.

No YOU the adult has to physically protect them UNTIL they can.
Being abused as a child without having parents to teach you since you were a baby about physical and psychological self defense or the value of life is like the equivalent of having parents who just left their baby on the street and expected it to "learn to deal with it", soon afterwards baby fell and broke their neck, or got attacked by a dog, or run over by a car. I don't know that girl's story, but my statement is an overall viewpoint when it relates to naive children who are abused.

You can only "physically protect" them to a point - then they must adapt. Again, suicide rarely has "singular issues".
When I was in middle school and high school,I was bullied horrifically.I did try to commit suicide on numerous occasions.It is hard now,but just remember that middle and high school isn't the world.It is tough,but they only pick on you because they are cowards.Most people who are bullied will go on to do great things whereas bullies usually don't.If you are hurting,play music,lift weights,paint.Suicide is never the answer.
