It sounds kind of weird, but somehow I prefer the movie over the book. I mean the book gives you more information and all that, but the movie just seems to do a better job on really dramatic parts, like when Dally dies(Poor him). The book was nice too of course. I read it in English class, but I ended up so obsessed with it that I brought my own copy.

It really seems as if no one actually takes the time to think about what happens in the past. Yes, we live in the present, but the past, when we're young, is when lots of good things happen, and as we grow older, we realize that we've been being to focused on temporal things instead of focused on our families, friends, and whoever else we want to remember and keep with us. We need to appreciate what we have now so that we don't regret not being grateful later on. Stevie reminds us of that. :)
