This build seams realy strange. You should stack AP with Morde.
What I usually do, is to start with hp regen item, than get Soulstealer+boots ASAP and start ganking.
Then I get Force of Nature, which also gives a 8% movement speed. Nice for chasing or to run away after harass. Also the high amount of hp regen can keep you in fight for long.
At the endgame I get Deathcap and LichBane for 1k+ melee hits and +7% movement speed.
Nice video, good thouhts, but some heavy misses and fails. :D
@kukaclol Remember that this video is from MANY patches ago. I don't play him the same way anymore. Also, note that there were some build assumptions I made that weren't correct I've grown as a player since then. Also I do not agree with Lichbane. It grants mana and I think that there are better itemizations for it. I namely think that something like a Gunblade would be better for hard hitting mace of spades.
@SC2Pred I have thought about that this game is probably an old one. Gunblade is a nice choise. I prefer Lich Bane if im pawning, and need some dmg to oneshot carries. Gunblade is nicer if you need some surival. I usually go thornmail + gunblade for heavy melee teams and Force of Nature + Lich bane for more magic dmg teams.

@kukaclol Whoa whoa whoa.. You never stack AP with Morde it scales like shit! Look up a magic penetration build, its the best and you get plenty of tank out of it. You get more damage out of negating their MR than building up AP.
@thermonuke1 magicpen is a basic stat for morde, you get it from runes, boots and it's a wise choice to pick up a magicpen item in late game depending on the other teams build.
one thing i hate about LoL, it gets outdated so fast... and people this is at least six months ago, game play changes alot since then. all the nerfs and buffs plus more champs make the game much different. =)
@9Gabba9 MR is significantly more cost effective than straight health, not to mention FoN is also regen and move speed. I will put up stats to show soon but MR is better than HP especially early.

Just because the number for my hp is smaller doesn't mean I'm not capable of absorbing damage especially given that I will be reducing incoming damage by about half with a FoN (magic damage anyway and this isn't counting mordes own shield)

@9Gabba9 you obviously dont play morde. MR and arm are more important on morde because they work with his shield, which is the key to playing with morde and being tanky. i laugh when i see morde with warmog's it is such a useless item on morde. FON however decreases the rate that your shield falls and allows you to take little damage if you can keep your shield up with siphon and shard. I actually go magic pen, abs scepter, warden, raylai, fon, deathcap, warden --> omens
@9Gabba9 Not to mention Morde is not a f**king tank, I never build him HP items, with the shield is enough, and you don't need HP when you can achieve an ace before losing half of your life bar.
I don't know how I feel about a Triforce on Morde. That wasted 250 mana makes me cringe and, while he is very spammy, I just don't see the sheen effect benefiting his play style too much.
You're better off getting FoN+Boots+Rylais. If you get all three early enough, you will be an unstoppable harbinger of death.

It's just one of those things. I think when this video was done I Was something like 1000 elo? I've slowly climbed to about 1200 now and I even hit 1300 at one point so... I have seen what it looks like outside of "elo hell" :) Just keep plugging away and learn from your mistakes of which I made plenty.
I liked it. Funny most of the things you were pointing out I consider common sense. "I don't see anyone on the map, they're probably ganking me." or "I'm not Shaco/Udyr/Pantheon/TF/Tryndamere/Janna maybe I shouldn't solo push a lane like that baddie Katarina." Pushing lanes depends on your champ. Sivir is a definite good one too. But fuck man, you gotta know when and when not to. and 10+ mins into the game you better be nut cupping your team if you want to win. Fact is LoL is a TEAM GAME!
I'm a pro mord player, specialized in playing him as a pure tank, and can I say I am absolutely amazed of how your build is actually pretty decent. You were extremely lucky to able to record this video playing against a horrible team, as a mord with no deaths = gg indefinitely. Good vid, maybe have another one with better opponents?

I am going to try to get a video up this weekend at some point to go over some of this a bit more in depth. As a quick overall Runes I use for mord ->Armor/Magic Pen/CDR mastery setup Attack up till CDR and then full utility skipping mana talents.
@SC2Pred Hey question... As you say for morde you do have MP runes and attack/utility masterys but you do buy tank items ? I like morde allot i build him AP/tanky tho i'm having some trouble doing damage if i really need to go for tank items. You seem you didn't.
Thanks for the comment. I can do another video of how I play Mord. But, quick answer to your questions. Core gear is Force of Nature/Mercury Treads/Trinity Force then its game dependant. Runes are Magic pen/Cool down reduction/armor and mastery is cool down reduction in offense and utility tree.
@SC2Pred Great vid, my whole complete build is 2 sunfire capes, force of nature, sorcerer's shoes, frozen mallet, and randuin's omen. I think Morde is a great champ, he got me my first penta kill last night.
