omfggg first I wanna say Colin Farrell is one gorgeous fucking man . this movie... one of the best I've ever seen ! the story was addressed with such modesty and innocence at the same time.. sexy and hottttt Loved it !!
I thought this was one of the most beautiful movies that I have ever seen. Bobbie's character was so innocent and family oriented. I got the book after that and it was not as good in my opinion; however, if I had read the book first I might have had a different opinion. :)
YEAH . I had the luck to meet him once in New York in 2003. Fuck I didn't have my digital camera with me, plus I was 17 with some friends & I was too naive to ask him to take a pic or an authograph. DAMN!!
Anywày...
Gottà LOVE Colin, he's a very good dude, clever, educated, fun, generous & an astounding actor.
he looks younger NOW which is crazy. he just looks really healthy these days. loved him them, love him now.... but he IS talking crazy fast ... like he's on cocaine or some kind of amphetamine or something.
Colin has been sober for a few years now. That is just the way he talks, and accent. I am from Dublin, and understood every word. he certainly was not n speed here!
...if u get urself out of the turmoil peace becomes gr8ter...& I mean obviously 4 me (home) it's family & friends etc... & they r all in Dublin but even though they're in Dublin they r with me here in this fu**in' boxy room of this fu**in' Hotel [LOL]
So...u know I suppose that what I'm sayin' is...Home is where ur heart is
Well, I actually can barely understand! So it will be nice if you can type what he's saying for me....i don't understand English well as English is not my native language!
Ok well I don't think I can type it all 'cos it would take way way way too many comments! But the gist of it is that this director is one of the few Colin's worked with that has such understanding of how positioning the characters in scenes itself tells a story without any dialogue. The director knew the characters so implicitly, and the story was beautifully written. Each character, as extreme as s/he was, was painted softly.
What home means to Colin is something he can carry around with him on his travels, it's in his heart, where he finds peace, his family and friends - and they're all in Dublin, but also here in his heart with him, in this poxy room in this hotel; basically, home is where the heart is.
Makes me smile, do Irish people speak well, anwser is yes. English is our first language, we speak Irish also (some ppl do). Famous Irish poets and writer include W B Yeats, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde and Seamus Heaney and so on. U2 are Irish, the Script and so on.
I enjoyed Home At the End of the World, he had a great performance in it. I understand what he's saying totally!

I have very difficult to understand Colin, cause he talks very quick and I'm brazilian, but this is his way and I love Colin and his way...

Yes! Besides all the cursing lol. More Irish people have won the Nobel Prize for literature than any other nationality.
