  • well the other day i was talking to my friends and my beardie like was looking at me and her head got huge . i just got her 2 weeks ago but idk i think she got mad at me... lol

  • Mine start getting really mad at me idk y thou I just went to pick him up and put him on my bed and she started getting bad at me for the first time min is about the same size to

  • I would be pissed is someone was touching my tale and holding a camera in my face

  • Ruger is really pretty. :D

  • beardies normally get pissed because u leave the light on in the night/ the lamp n like us they cant get any sleep n then as normal they will be pissed if u try n hold them!!!

  • my female beardie is extremely friendly, but she does some ssttrraannggee things when she sees me...she will either do these weird push ups that make us all laugh our heads off, or she does this thing where she breathes out and puffs her beard in and out while I talk to her. No blackening of her beard or anything, it's as if she's acknowledging me or something...but she only does it to me, NO ONE else in the family gets this special treatment....lol

  • cause youre screwin with it thats why it's mad

  • when any lizard puffs up that means they are threatened or scared and if they are pissed off their beards turn darker and if their entire color is light that means its too warm or its nice in here.. please do not experiment this

  • So strange seeing a bearded dragon like that as mine is a big softie. He's never even been angry, hope yours has chilled out now.

  • dude just pet the thing and hand fead him but yes he can just be pissed but most likely hes not tamed

  • @canesno111 Hand feeding is not a necessity for taming them. Handling them often is enough to tame them.

  • @BERGYx2 yeah but i just think hand feeding them is a good thing

  • and i got that information on general information on bearded dragons so if you know different then you cant take it your wrong!

  • Right i did not put this comment on here so i dnt know what go one but i thought about it , take a look and learn a lesson

Bearded Dragons have unusual teeth. Their front teeth fall out and grow back regularly. These teeth are used, "for grasping and tearing live prey" (Grenard, Steve). Their side teeth are permanent, and are fused to their jaws. The side teeth are used for chewing vegetable matter. now leave me alone

  • @flamewolfangel They are not teeth. If you really are a biology teacher or whatever you are; I suggest you go back in your life and enroll in a different college. You obviously don't have you facts straight or right at all. They are called denticles. Please don't waste both of our time arguing about this anymore.

  • if hes puffing up and getting pissed at you, shoving a camera in his face and grabbing his tail isnt going to help. you should have just let him chill out for a couple hours. also, if your beardie is a male, they can sometimes go through unprovoked periods of moodiness as they mature, sort of like a lizard "puberty" (it can happen to females too, but less often)

  • The only time mine ever bit someone was when my little brother tried to pull his tongue out of his mouth.

  • one day u will get bitten and you will regret it

  • @flamewolfangel im looking at mine right now. They do have things on their jaww, but they do not have teeth. It isn't consider a tooth.

  • @ BERGYx2 yes they do have teeth Im an animal carer I have studied animals for many years and I have two bearded dragons at home myself and they do have teeth !

  • @flamewolfangel There are denticles on the jaw but they are not teeth. If you see any other place where they have "teeth" respond.

  • @BERGYx2 Who cares? Get a life.

  • they do not have teeth! the edge of theyre mouth is very sharp. I once have been biten by an iguana and I promise that is not nice (was bleeding...^^) the mouth of an iguana an the baerded dragon look the same and so I conclude that theyre mouths are working the same^^ teeth as we know from human developed first with the mammals.

shark teeth for example are changed skin.

  • well, my beardy went to kindergarten with me, i did not let the children touch him, and he just loved it, he was curious, and was sitting by his glass to look in the classroom all day! when he got home with me, he still searched for people around histerarrium. he did not get mad at all. thank you all for the tips.

  • WHY R U BEING MEEN TA HIM??!! STOP THAT!!!

  • He's trying to look manlier than you.. Hormones...

  • Wow he is pissed 0.o

  • its for half a day, can I take my beardy with me without his enormous terrarrium?

I have a smaller aquarium that will do, and something to cover, and some sand.

  • @lootje145 Unless you are having a friend take him there & back when you are done I'd recommend a smaller terrarium just so he doesn't wander about, & can be set down if & when need be since it is a classroom and the last thing you want is to play hide&seek with a beardie & a classroom full of kids. A blanket is handy as well, whenever I take mine traveling I wrap her up in a soft blanket and the dark makes her fall fast asleep.

  • I am a teacher, and I have a bearded dragon.

The children asked me if I could take him to school

I am afraid he gets real mad, and will be pissed if I do.

Can the animal bite me ?

I don't want the children to be in danger

  • @lootje145 They can bite but it is often because they mistake your finger for a worm. If you keep a screen on it, they shouldn't be in danger. You can also put the beardy's tank in a high enough place that the children can't reach the top.

  • @lootje145 Yes, They can bite and draw blood. Though no teeth, still causes a stinging sensation which will get a young kid crying. This bearded dragon is tame. my is not, even while feeding it may bite you

  • @KraziKillaProduction they do have teeth i have been biten many times by them

  • @mousey16 They DO NOT have teeth, just a strong jaw.

  • @lootje145 hes mad reason being u keep touching his tail, simple

and yes they can get mad otherwise but i bought my bearded

wen he was a baby handle him every day since and he has not puff'd one time

the idea is slow steps slowly petting his head slowly is kee

and a little later picking him up for about a munite so on but that would have ben best with him younger

and never let the kids hold em as a safety thing biting is actually pretty rare

    but they do sometime

  • I hope it bites u

  • a4ndy88 is 9 years old....guarantee it.

  • He was probably upset you put up a faulty hammock. I would be pissed too if my hammock fell down in the middle of the night while I was sleeping on it.

  • such an angry lil dragon u have there!! lol

  • @a4ndy88 wow are u friggin kiddin me?!!!

what a loser!! Im having problems with my beardie now hes still a baby and he is my first one.. I think he is compacted so Im slowly tryin to feed n water him so he doesnt get dehydrated Im so worried about losin him.. :( I need sum help... plz if u can or anyone has any advice plz email me so I can see whats goin on... really scared :( hope I dont lose him cuz that would suck!!!

  • @armycaesar fill your bathtub with warm water up to his neck. Make sure he can stand in it. This helps pass the impaction. I just gave one of my beardies a bath today and she pooped more than normal. The water should be as warm as you would want it to be for a bath.

  • @armycaesar CasedillaFoRilla Summed it up good. If the problem gets bad talk to a vet.

  • @armycaesar nice warm baths help they take in some of the water thru their skin also you should be able to feel the impaction on the beardies right side. Slide your fingers or finger depending on the size down the belly on the right side. It helps sooth them and bring the impaction to pass. do not feed them meal worms at this time it will only make things worse. some crickets but more so greens, this will also help them get a water source. you should really look into a vet tho

  • mine did that too but mine was in mating season and he had a female 2 so maybe that explains the sudden hate for your right hand

  • Must of been a bad morning for him. Its the only thing that makes since to me. My Dragon just gives me a drursy look because I woke her up.

  • 0:15 ! OMG THAT IS A PUFFED UP PUFFY LIZARD! O.O

  • Well don't bother him!

  • @a4ndy88 First off, thanks for the view...Second off give me a few reasons I shouldn't own animals..Third off if your going to insult me do it right, spelling things correct and generally try to sound more intelligent, thanks. Thanks for spending your own time and wasting mine on something as worthless as this.

  • @a4ndy88 wow, ur a real prick you know that?

Whats wrong with owning an animal, i own a cat a bird and several fish

does that make me a prick? no!

Because i look after and care for my pets and i love them so, u can just shh and get off youtube

  • @Scrotch19 Did you read my comment? He only did it once while giving him oral meds, I had to stick the syringe in his mouth. It wasn't an issue of handling as all of them are handled regularly. Read my comment over before making any further more accusations! Thank you.

  • @BERGYx2 y is ur bearded dragon so fat man

  • @Shadyman55 Haha hes not fat, he was just filled with air, I can put another vid of him normal if you want to see!

  • @BERGYx2 yeah sure i would like to c another vid of him

  • He's showing his strength up to you. The reason she flattens his body is to make himself look bigger and that is also why it slants its body to the left or right.

  • @Roger5970 I agree with you, I was in his territory and he felt like he needed to protect something haha

  • @Scrotch19 "he must not be happy with you or something in his surroundings" As I had said, yes he was mad at me for waking him up. I'm not worried about "bacteria" in his mouth as hes latched on to me before when giving him oral meds and I haven't had any problems with him breaking skin.

  • @Scrotch19 I'm fairly certain his enclosure is fine, he had just moved from a 40 gallon breeder to a 4x2x2 custom, just woken up and has been trying his best to get to one of our females.

That aside, thanks for the advice.

  • @hypnotic26 Thanks hes a few different morphs and his colors have gotten insane!

  • @hypnotic26 Thanks, he's a few different morphs mostly extreme red, I think there is some citrus tiger in him though, he's got purple, blue and green bars, can't wait to find a female breeder big enough to handle him!

  • @BERGYx2 I bet, I would LOVE to see how his babies turn out.

    Bless him :-)

  • thats how it sweats

  • Haha I know I just thought it was interesting!
