  • I remember this two of my friends were driving for them. They had to sell the tires of the truck to get back to south carolina.

  • TRUCKING industry is COLLAPSING

  • wha wha wha

  • @MackTruck40 you shut your f n mouth or get it shut FOR you

  • I liked your video very much.

  • I liked your video very much.

  • what happened in 2010 ????

  • hmm interesting video but i wonder why is this guy in his car doing this phone interview

  • that "big company" , the one who was slated for BK in 2010 wouldn't happen to have been Great Wide/Dallis-Mavis and all the companies that fall under it's umbrella would it???

  • I work for a company called Bennet Motor Express which is actually using the building where arrow trucking use to be. Bennet has only had a terminal in Houston since 2006, in fact I worked with them when they first opened. I am just starting to work with them again.

  • CADI Escalade is not 120.000 $ in Kiev -Ukraine, That is a LIE.

CATERPILLAR is big in Europe but so are others, AMERICAN trucks make very little of European truck market.

MAN , Scania, Volvo, Renault, Mercedes, Iveco, FAP, RABA, DAF and some Russian manufacrurers. Competition is very stiff.

  • It is so fucked up in California! Fuck the California Air Resource Board [CARB] and their emission laws imposed.

  • I was just about to get my CDL...now, I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe just drive tow-trucks for auto repair garages...never will I repo, screw the banks!!!

  • wait til new ca emission laws kick in 2012 2013 . old trucks will have to be replaced with new ones..

  • your shit is so confusing like i understand where your coming from but it seems like is all a hyprocital situation where in cali its fucked but other states are different

  • Unions are what got us in this situation to begin with. Pensions that are funded through the backdoor by govt. YRC should have shut down years ago. 35,000 employees - bam! This year has been better, but the profit margin is nil.

  • What a crock, truckers are in a better position than american labor in general. Since the outsourcing of 40,000 manufacturing facilities truckers are needed to haul the the imports from the port cities the the interior of the country.

Kind of ironic when our manufacturing was being outsourced the trucking industry never said a word.

  • @louiethegreater- Have you considered who is behind the ownerships in the industry that are not effected by economy. I think you'll find they are backed by the governments. They have contracts that keep them going.

    1. Insurance = Drug / Alcohol testing.

    2. Banks for loans new equip Etc.

    3. Recent Experience in the last - - - mths yrs. Even though you've been driving big trucks for years, Your no good.!

    3. Contracts by the government or major distributors.

    And way more.

  • @Snowman374th Globalization is the enemy of the owner operated trucker. I suggest you stand against any policies coming out of washington that will not secure our borders. The dominent tenent of globalization is open borders, Mexican truckers will drive your wages lower, and lower. Large multinaitonal companys will employ more and more latino truckes for lower and lower wages. That is the plan of globalization, spread the american middleclasses wealth to the impoverished of the world.

  • @louiethegreater- That how I see it to. I hate to be like that, But countries have to have other ways to secure their own freight to the border after that the Countries trucker should take it.

It's the same way in construction to, Dump trucking and Etc. You know they advertise in spanish not american, That's disrespectful, And they fly their own flags of other contries. So I'm not just refering to Mexican. Canada to Brittish flages. & What about fuel stops.

I guess I'm ready. But I hate to.

  • @louiethegreater Mexico doesn't have large carrier firms. Most 'Combiarioes' (drivers) are owner/operators. Who usually buy after-American market used trucks and trailers. Mexican businesses aren't interested in paying American Underwriter Insurance or paying at the American pump. Getting goods from the Panama Canal to Laredo,TX is Latin trucking, is a job no American wants. good luck.

  • @granddad2002 Are you saying that latinos are not carrying goods from latin american countries inside the borders of the US.

  • @louiethegreater There are lots of "Americans' whose first learned language is Spanish, that drive trucks all over the US. You really want to drive across the Central American States to the US border? I'll drive any province in 'Canada'.

Going to Alaska is a chore. If anybody wants to do OTR south of Laredo,TX or San Ysidro, CA... You go right ahead. Mexican truckers can drop the freight in the holding yards... after clearing customs its' either reloaded on a US trailer and delivered.

  • Join the teamsters, problem solved. enjoy high wages, penison and health care.

  • I've been saying as well that's the real reason for all the suicide bombers in many countries, & our best job in this enlightended fight against THE REAL EVIL IN THE WORLD is to do exactly what your doing, because the poor young ones and others that are brainwashed into believeing that they are killing themselves

  • for some HOLY WAR disguised as the only way to beat out the american hypocrities, who's tax dollars supply a hell of a lots of the troubles in the world!!!

the USA tries to make up for it by staging benifits for the poor and down trodden victims, but they will never know what is WAITING FOR ALL OF THEM WHEN THEY DIE! it is still of great sadness and situatioal depression that I don't have

  • "HRM Caesar Saint Augustine de Buonaparte it's my real name & it's a symbolic Title, I have always believed that Titles R nessary 4 the best kind of self esteem, SO LONG AS THEY ARE SELF CONTROLLED AND NOT ON A COURSE OF INFLATED EGOS JUST FOR SOMEONES SELF IMAGE!, BUT ALWAYS making one's self available for helping others that HAVE EARNED THE RIGHT TO BE

  • HELPED IN THEIR TIME OF NEED. you are one of these people, so don't ever stop what you are doing, we all have to die, and even if we can't stop it, we know deep in side our deepest DNA ancestries that we stand with the very few, that will allways be more advanced then the many that falsely delude themselves ( at the cost of innocent peoples lives) into a fanaticle desire for riches in a very EVIL way.

  • Don't be afraid of the dollar declining there is plenty to go around online. Learn how from an expert in online marketing danagoetz....com

  • why is he talking in the dark?

  • Albinojones, excellent comment. Catherine Austin Fitts coined the phrase "The Central Bank Warfare Model." So ultimately it's not the system we thought it was.

Warfare on the people at all levels, at all time, in every country, and by every means. Who said, War was a Racket? Yes, but what kind of racket? Where is Dragnet and the Bunco Division? Notice how never hear of Bunco any more?

  • '-,'-,carcity rears its ugly head again. Arrow Trucking CEO belongs in prison

  • Well, don't get me wrong. Shit is going to hit the fan, but when. come on man. We've been talking about this shit for 2 years but it hasn't happened. Fact is, the elite can manipulate anything they want. Their goal is to keep the law and order and peacefully starve americans into the untied nations.

  • come on man look around u look whats going on in the market look at everything, all it needs is for something fall and when that happens all the other shit will fall after, it's called the domino effect. so what do u mean it hasn't happened yet it's happening right now foo right under our noses and they have been for decades and now everything is falling into place just how they planed it. I'am telling u boy get your shit together and prepare for the inevitable

  • Dont' worry about it the chemtrail jets are out there in full force to soften us up for the collapse

  • yep the shit will hit the fan

  • Trade will be increased between canada and mexico , on a bad note my bible tells me the U.S. Will cause the whole world to tranfer power and worship to the roman catholic church which is the beast of revalation 13 , so trucking is not going to collapse just become completely corporate less and less small companies

  • @draleighd the catholic church is the beast? haha thats the first I've heard of that.

  • @jeff30458 that is correct look up david asscherick and look at his series called the united states role in bible prophecy

  • Yeah, I think Whore of Babylon. Scary, I have several loved ones in the Catholic Church.

  • @jeff30458 then you better wake up

  • Its not going anywhere yet , let me tell you whats going to happen , the U.S. Will attempt to reconstuct to reach japans technological standards by 2017 between now and then you will see diesel prices flatten out due to the decrease in demand, for oil jobs and technology are obama's third and fourth year ptiorities

  • Our son is an independent trucker, he is having a very hard time finding loads. He has been in the industry since 1991, watch out, the bottom is definitely going to be pulled out from beneath all of us, and soon.

  • Moron, Non trucker idiots don't know a god damned thing about trucking

  • When you can find parking for a big truck at nite near any major interstate , things are slow... its way to many people tryin to make money off of trucking.. people who have no capital investment, and own no trucks. FUCKIN BROKERS..Trucking is a credit pyrimid

  • SWIFT= Sure Wish I'd Finished Training.

  • @grandysfunction lol I don't know about Swift, but sure as hell don't go work for Werner. You go train with them for 8 weeks so they can get a $5,000 tax credit, promise you a job and then throw you on your ass.

  • "The ever exploding twin towers of US debt and trade deficits are to be expected from a country thats engaged in two foreign invasions, maintains over 170 military bases overseas, gives trillions of dollars to foreign bankers, yet produces nothing anyone in the world wants or can use."

  • @albinojones Talking about military bases you got it wrong albinojones! Its over 700 bases in 143 countries!!! Appalling empire and we are broke!!!

  • 2+2=5

  • were all in hell.....the worst thing about hell is , you dont know youre there.

  • No, universeplayground, we are not all in hell. When you are naked and bleeding at the hands of government authorities, then you will understand hell.

Heaven is where I play my trumpet, and I am trumpeting Ron Paul for President 2012 now.

  • My favorite movie is Jurassic park. The features of this movie is an interesting & variety theme & excellent music.

  • SHTF so long that you don't know the smell any more.

Its not SHTF its SS DD.

  • "bigger company based out of AZ" = code word for SWIFT.

  • Office Space

  • Trucks will still be driven, by beaners and arabs. That is the plan of the big greedy companies.

  • TayonWaltonBuzz probably does't have to panic if he loses a job, he gets brown privelige, what do you want to bet.

  • i have been a driver since 1990 and i think you are a panic vidio. there are ebbs and flows every few years and the arrow situation is just some greedy owners robbing the company. BE RESPOSIBLE

  • @rouvell40 he is just another fear monger like alex jones

  • the trucking industry collapse so does every thing omg

  • Ok no you gotta think if the truucking indusrty was gonna collapse then why would they be building a 11 lane toll road called the super highway from mexico to canada NO the industry might be subject to some government take overs but not collapes

  • If anybody KNOWS the truckers KNOW!

They are the ones that move America.

  • trucking is in trouble.. stores are looking a little more empty

  • Swift

  • how is swift doing?

    england?

  • All you eastern europeans bragging about owning your home free and clear.

In america we don't consider a one-room shack with a sheetmetal roof and a dirtfloor and no running water a home. We americans would prefer to live homeless in the street then live in one of your "palaces".

Sorry if I offended anyone, it just something that needed to be said.

  • lol

  • First of all, the trucking industry suffered it's biggest blow when Jimmy Carter signed the "Deregulation Bill" back in the 80's. Not many know or remember that there were more owner/operators than company/fleet drivers on the road back then. Nowadays your lucky to see 1 in 50 trucks on the road being owner-operated.

Most everything looks bleak these days unless you're a "bankster" or a "politician".....

  • @june201955- Boy that ain't no shit.!-- It's companies now. They don't want owner ops anymore. Oh they'll take them But they don't want them.

I'm sure the Illuminati is behind this one too. Backed by bankers Insurance companies and more. Unions are interfering in this to.

    HEY.!

This is all part of collasping this country into a communist country. I'd say people are ready to fight about it too.!

  • @june201955 Carter was a dedicated globalist, even then they were prepairing the way for open borders and the NAU.

  • @june201955 WRONG, Jimmy Carter was out of office in January 1980.

  • @Robbob9933 Jimmy Carter was our prez from 1-20-77 to 1-20-81. I suggest that you look before you leap.

  • @june201955 If you look at the number pad the 1 and 0 are right next to eachother. I hit post too fast. In referring to a presidency, I would not have used the 80s to designate a period of just over 12 months. The Intestate Commerce Commission regulated the trucking industry and it was abolished in 1995. This means Clinton not Carter deregulated the industry. Carter largely deregulated the aviation industry and Reagan finished the job.

  • It all goes back to John the Revelator, However, anyone would rather beleive anything other than the truth. For some reason it seems to be common nature to the human race, if you dont face it or if you just close your eyes it will go away. It is coming and there is nothing no one can do to stop it. People should be more concerned about learning survival techniques after the coming worldwide disaster that lies ahead. For the few that will be left, Thats all that will matter. SURVIVAL

  • Blimey, theres me thinking that the UK is in a bad way !!

  • Everything You See, Eat, Touch, Smell, Basically Everything You Buy Comes From Trucks! If The Trucking Goes We Are In Big Big Trouble!!! I Was A Truck Driver For Over Ten Years!!! Get Ready Everybody!!!

  • Keep smiling and always watch your back

  • Money...Period...Money Is What Is Cared About Not People

  • My guns and ammo are becoming more valuable every day,Lead could become the new gold.

  • First the trucking industry will collapse, then will follow the railroads, and then that will be the final blow to our economy. You think 2009 was bad...just wait for whats in store in the near future.

  • Swine Flu? If you piss off the powers that be NEVER rule out poisoning. "They" have many ways to do it if they want to. Especially if you critisize the republicans or Israel.

  • @callouschristian How about if I critisize you?

  • CHOAD!

  • Please stop having guests like this guy on the phone! He's worthless. "Uh, like I said I'm no professional, it's just my opinion but..." Obviously it your opinion, dude, or you wouldn't be saying it!! I hate it when people say that because it's just a code for saying "Look I'm in charge here, okay!" "I'm the Man." Fucker!!

  • Hey pishdad, your a dickweed, just my opion.

  • @ utubeboobie9. Ha, ha, ha!! You mental midget! People like you deserve to be jobless and replaced by illegals!! Weak suck! I'd love to see your ass replace, moron! Of course "I'm no expert and that's just my opinion!" Ha, ha, ha!!

  • are u on ur period?

  • I hate it when people keep saying "uh, that's just my opinion, I don't want anyone to think I'm just acting like I know more than the next guy. But this is just my opinion." F'ing christ dude OBVIOUSLY IT'S JUST YOUR OPINION SO JUST SHUT UP, STOP SAYING THAT AND MAKE YOUR G- DAMNED STATEMENT, DUDE!! " F'ING CHRIST!! Stope qualifying yourself by saying "Well this is just my opinion!!!!" F'ing christ!! You moron!!

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzy sleezy, thats just my opinon, ha ha

  • Revolution? I can only say that the revolution being pushed is coming from the Government not me. I want to return to constitutional government where the people take part in the direction the government goes....but the again I am not sure the American People can handle taking care of themselves. And this is my opinion. NAFTA and GAT stripped away some sovereignty and that is a fact.

  • @Michae To much free giveaway in this country Nobody wants to work for anything. You know what I'm talking about.

  • Under the guise of "Free Trade" America has been duped into giving up OUR sovereignty and we can no longer sustain the boom and bust mentality of years past. It is time to repair the system and stop wishing or hoping for a better recovery. To you older guys out there who say things like....I have seen this before or this is the exact type of fear mongering that happened in the 80's... WE DO NOT WANT A BOOM AND BUST ECONOMY FACILITATED BY PRIVATE BANKING INTEREST.

  • First I'd like to say that all this is pure speculation. I'm a construction worker who's been out of work for two years so welcome to the party. Lets stop using illegal workers and paying for their welfare. Dont allow them to be eligible for social security. Send them home and secure our boarders. This alone will create millions of jobs. When we stand up for ourselves things will begin to get better. We can come back again but we got to stop acting so dang stupid. Just my opion.....whats yours?

  • utubeboob9. First of all the jobs the illegals are taking you wouldn't be caught dead doing!! C'mon, lets face it dude?!!! What you're saying is rediculous. I mean we have the thief in the hamper and when you catch him he points over to the door and says "he went dat a way!" And off you go chasing a phantom!!! Please wake up!! Why can't you just admit that our leaders Bush, Clinton, Bush 43 sold us out! We've lost our infrastructure. There are no jobs in U.S. to back up our currency! We've lost!

  • @pishdad and Obama

  • WOW! I use to work for Arrow out of Tulsa. They have been going down for a while.

  • if u notice..everything has gone up in price..i mean, everything!!...yet, minimum wage and the basic pay for the average blue-collar worker has remained the same for some time. it's why the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer..with no real solution in sight.

  • only the beginning.....time will tell what is in store for us in 2010. the next three years are uncertain and unsettling.

  • Man! This is messed up.

    Hyperinflation is on its way.

Its like what 407buddy is saying.

Stop feeding the beast with your taxes. Declare your Independence from systems of dependability!

InflationUS is doing a great service in pointing out this upcoming crash.

Another great resource is thesurvivalpodcast(dot)com and the forum that goes with it.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

  • How the hell can anyone compete with truckers out of Mexico when they don't have to comply with ANY regulations or even pay their drivers anything. Lyndon LaRouche warned about the effects of transportation deregulation during the Carter years.

  • Swift is the only major trucking company in AZ. and they are the Strongest in the US right now, I see JB hunt or CR england going under first. Hard to see Swift going under when they hold Contracts with WalMart and all the huge retail companies.

  • Knight is very big out of phx

  • Thank you for the correction. I thought Kight's main office was out of Utah. And I can see knight going under. This whole arrow thing has been going on a very very long time. They have had trouble playing their bills for over a year now.

  • response from a 20 year trucker here: There are alot of these types of banruptcys going on. Usually smaller outfits. George, drive past some of the big companies and see all their empty trucks and trailers sittin around. I had to take older but good trailers right to the scrap yards for demolation. They can't be sold. Storing them cost too much. We are taking forced pay cuts and fewer running miles. We have hundreds of vacant trucks here.

  • Swift just might be the trucking company in Arizona thats going under!!

  • I can see a increase in food and necessities go up in Illinois.

  • Im suprised that the "terrorist" haven't thought of using semi to drive into major cities and blow stuff up, that would really crush the industry--don't tell Janet, she'll think of it herself

  • That's a carrot. I own my house outright having paid off my mortgage entirely. But I still have to pay property taxes and insurance which go up every year So at the end of the day, the government is my landlord.

  • @clarkewi It's a shame you paid off your house and havent just bought one with a huge mortgage, you could have simply waited for hyper inflation to pay it off for you in a day ;)

  • @clarkewi

the worst part is that you bought the land, and if you don't pay your taxes one month, the government can just come and take your land.

  • Exactly. So even when you "own" your home, you don't really own it. You just have a "smaller" payment. And in California before Prop. 13, many retirees lost their homes because they could not afford to pay their property taxes which went up very quickly during the 1970's while property values were rising. Many of those on fixed incomes bought their homes for 10-15K and watched them increase in value to 100K and had to pay the tax. Was a tragic situation.

  • why are you in the dark?

  • A good question -- he looks like he was thrown in the trunk of car and decided to do a video with a cell phone and and a night vision video camera to pass away the time!

  • Not in Eastern Europe, it is not!!! I was talking about Eastern Europe wher home owhership FREE AND CLEAR is over 90%. I personally only know ONE FAMILY who is paying a mortgage on their homes. Check those stats!

  • What's the reason they went under? If it's because they were shipping crap people don't need, good riddance.

  • Hey Sharkloaner, the problem with a lot of Americans is they set on thier butts and expect the government to give them everything. It's not like it use to be when people would be embarassed to be in such a situation. Too many govenment hand outs. It becomes sistemic.

  • We can see an increase in food prices here in South Florida. Unemployment is at 11 percent. Crime is increasing.

  • WTH George. Why was your "Teens Thugs" removed?

It was your content filmed on a public street. Who could possibly claim rights to that?

  • stoping the trucks.......stops the food.......stoping the banks loaning companys money.....stops any compettiors moving in to take up the contracts.....remenber they will use tactics like this to create a natinal emergancy ......not men with guns kicking doors down to force vacanations......

  • One of the few manufacturing companies still in the north east (CT) is a company that makes TP.

So that is good news for the tri-state area.

Today marks the first day in my life I have no health insurance, and I have been unemployed for almost 1 month and the state unemployment people messed up my account and they won't get back to me till Tuesday. There are so many people unemployed in the RICH state of CT that the server crashed.

    Time to pray and fast

  • laurieannek- CT is a rich state, but don't forget that it's home to some of the most depressed cities in the country. Hartford is one of the poorest major cities in the US. New Haven and Bridgeport have had murder rates that are on par with Detroit and Baltimore. These cities are cesspools because they used to be huge manufacturing centers and in the 70's those jobs were sent overseas. It's the same all over the Northeast and Midwest. If it once once an industrial giant, it's now a hell hole.

  • listen you guys stop the doom and gloom been truckin since 1989 seen this shit before and it will pass with time and will pick back up You people who lose your dispatching jobs and or a brokerage needs to happen more often . And its time to get rid of the wanna be truckers that have no buisness behind the wheel.

  • More empty stores are on the way.

  • I worked for Burlington Motor Carriers. I left right before the shit hit the fan, but a lot of drivers and office workers got stiffed on their last paychecks and some, not all got left out on the road. T.R. Ash out of Newark NJ stiffed & scammed everybody that had a lease perchase. The trucking industry is correcting itself. But a lot of folks are going to get hurt on this one.

  • You have a great web site

  • hey look, you got featured.

  • How the hell they lost money in an industry where there is more work than drivers is beyond me...

  • They will cut corners on the maintenance of the trucks. Tires, brakes, windshield washer and blades, grease etc.

  • @ghosty426 Gezze, not cool... people should speak out if they see these kinds of safety compromises to save a few buck rather than a few lives. Even cutting back on washer and blades ain't right.

  • Interesting video. I had no idea things were this bad in the trucking industry.

Thanks for posting this timely warning!

  • The swine flu? You must be kidding. Doesn't this guy know that is the biggest hoax out there designed to force people into mandatory vaccinations. I think he's investigating the wrong thing. Many (I know--not all) of the people losing their homes extended themselves way beyond what they could afford. Just because a bank is willing to give you money for the equity in your home, doesn't mean you have to take it.

  • When people lose everything and they have nothing else to lose, they lose it and most importantly they lose their NALGAS!

  • Next hot commodity, pitch forks, shovlels, ball chains and torches!

  • Why is he in the dark? And is this the same George from that "george goes to detroit" video?

  • sharkloaner (--- YES people in USA are in debt to their eyeballs , and they do not own houses they RENT ... and in Eastern Europe it is shame to RENT .. right ..

  • Seriously, there's something VERY WRONG in the american society. My grandma was helped by her mom to buy har house when she (my grandma) got married. My parents were helped by my grandparents to buy a home too. I managed to buy a 3 bedroom apt FREE AND CLEAR, plus some other real estate but my parents gave me a house too. SO, me, my sister, my mom, my grandma, my aunt, my 2 cousins-Fuck-we all have OUR OWN FREE AND CLEAR HOMES. Seriously-you american families need to learn to help each other.

  • sharkloaner, home prices are so, so high that people can't buy homes outright, even if they get help from friends and family. The government and banks aren't letting house prices fall to where they should be. They have to come down to where a family can reasonably save enough to buy it outright or at least pay it off within 10 years. This is impossible now. They're just way too high. What are home prices in Eastern Europe compared to the US? Do you know in USD$?

  • You see, that's exactly the problem; you people always think big, think about houses. Start in life by buying an apt, a smaller one. Here in Romania in my city prices for a small bachelor can be as lor as 20 000 $. My apt is worth 80-90 000% and thats a 3 bedroom apt. A house can be 60-80 0000. and up 150 000-180 000 on average(for a very nice home). But still, families here own a lot, we were here for generations and things changed hands. But things can be tough here too for some people...

  • Even when people get apartments they're costly, especially around LA and NYC. And home prices are still just too high. Period. I hate to sound trite, but we're discussing America, not Romania.

    E. Europans are savers. I think only 3% of Russians use credit cards. They always pay cash. After the USSR collapsed it took them a while to get on their feet and have been living in this propersous system for 10-15 years. We've got 40 years to make up for in a phony, fake economy. It's catching up.

  • Yeah, wel... everyone knows that NY and La are the most expensive cities in the USA. What about the rest of America? Guess what? I have friends in America and have visited them too; when I got off the plane first time I said-WOW, look at this richness; but soon I learne that everyone had payments for their cars and homes, even for the fridge and washing machines .I said-at least people can afford them while I had to save like a pig but now I realize that they are in big poop with all these debt

  • Yes, it's really sad that Americans take no pride in themselves and bought into the whole "purchase now, pay later" scheme. Most people look fairly comfortable on the surface. But they're still making car payments, financing appliances and even rent furniture! Don't get me started on homes. Who we call "home owners" in this country ought to be more properly called "mortage payers" or "glorified renters". There's very little home ownership in America. It's just a mask of wealth. Nothing's there.

  • @TenderTrap86

You were on point about everything. The foundation of America is built on quicksand. I'm one of the so-called "home owners" but I'm only a few missed payments away from having nothing.

  • Let me get this straight: I didn't intend to make anyone uneasy with my comment. I'm sorry if you took it that way. The quicker Americans wake up and realize what real wealth is, the sooner we can get out of this mess and get back to a real economy with a productive capacity. We can become what America used to be. My great-grandparetns didn't leave Europe and land on Ellis Island so they could get a subprime mortgage, a good deal at Walmart or an opportunity to finance a plasma screen TV.

  • @TenderTrap86 This county will never come back. You have to have jobs to have a strong economy and the jobs are gone. The jobs have been leaving for years and the dumb people of this county are letting it happen. The goverment of this county has done this for years. Why. One world rule. Cant you see it. It's to late unless the people get together and throw the bumb out all of then. But american's wont stick together. Life as you know it is over that is a fact.

  • I know everything you and George and others like him talk about. I don't know why I'm being scolded at all. Get a grip.

  • sEE THIS; I just checked out "poverty" in Romania and the USA. Romania with a gdp od 13 000 $/person has 6.6% of the population living below the poverty line. The USA with gdp of 44 000$ /person has 13.2 % of the population below poverty line. That's a whopping 40 million people of the 300 million people in the USA. SHOCKING! What's worse in the states , it seems that child poverty in the USA is bad too. 1 out of5 kids go to bed hungry every night. Is this true?

  • sharkloaner- I don't know all the stats but I am aware that about 1 out of every 4 (maybe 5) kids in this country don't go to sleep hungry. Instead, they go to sleep with full bellies except except those bellies are filled with food from government welfare, footed by the American taxpayer. The school system in my city provides free meals to the children, again courtesy of the taxpayer.

25% of kids in this country eat because of food stamps.

  • SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER ME! How the hell is it possible for you americans NOT TO OWN your homes and have so many homeless people? IS THIS AMERICA? I live in eastern Europe, Romania and every time I talk to americans it seems that they have this somewhat negative image about eastern EUrope. YOU PEOLPE THINK THAT WE'RE POOR! But I WONDER who's more poor??? In E. Europe 90% of all people OWN their homes FREE AND CLEAR. We have cars and food in the fridge too. Americans OWN much less but OWE a lot.

  • I'm in America and I don't understand how people are so poor as well.

I wasn't even born here. I worked my way up and purchased a condo when I was 27, also own a bmw and have a steady job.

Then I see guys that are 18 - 25 asking me for money.

Personally I think most americans should be millionaires. I mean yeah bad stuff happens but I think MOST americans just make bad decisions and refuse to take responsibility and end up blaming others for their problems.

  • @xCASDGuyx

Because you my friend have been givin everything by your home country....period.

  • xCASDguyx, Where are you from?

  • @sharkloaner Interesting point... alot of American's don't know this. They think everyone is on the credit/loan scheme. I heard in Japan, they don't finance school either. They pay for everything outright. And if they do have any form of credit...the balance is due in total at the end of the month. Not this paying over years shit. Happy New Year folks!

  • --- You talk about ARROW going bankrupt what about 100 other that went bankrupt , who were about the size of Arrow ,

Entire Trucking bussiness is on the verge of bankruptcy ,,, even Owner operators in some companies , small brockerage firms , can not make enough to pay the bills.

  • "Employee Abandonment" will be a growing trend for 2010 and beyond . . .it will become the normal trend of corrupt business practices in this country.

Good work George in providing real news to those who are still willing to listen and learn.

  • W.Buffett bought railroad giant Burlington about a month ago & only spent a measly 26.3 billion.

Buffett calls the deal an "all-in wager" on the USA's economic future. "We will come out of the downturn, I just don't know when,". "My time horizon is we will hold (the railroad) forever." He doesn't expect spectacular growth from the rail business, he says trains that transport stuff such as corn, cars and coal will deliver "steady and certain growth over the decade."

    Damn

  • more sad bullshit, i'm glad i'm rich. i think i'll go to some other country. this country is not fun anymore. looks like mexico, or greece are much better countries at times like these..the people are friendly and i can still enjoy life. i hate bad news.

good luck with ur economy. ta ta

  • see ya, we dont want ya here.

  • Not when the U.S.A. throws a temper tantrum and launches Nukes everywhere. The world is connected in this global scheme and no one is immune.

  • as long as they hit iran, then its all worth it. plus this could start the american rebellion that everybody is so excited about, ooooooooooooooh!

  • The grocery stores will first put out signs on the shelves saying Warehouse out sorry for the inconvenience.. Is this do to food shortages or no shipping available. Grocery stores have not been keeping large amount of supplies which might be hurting suppliers and farmers on the long term more so. While Grocery stores profit for the short turnaround.

  • It's everybody, I deliver to Home Depot a lot. Two years ago, they had wharehouses full of invertory. Now? Just what you can sell. Inventories are thin, and if the wharehouse is out. Not much you can do at the store level.

  • Pomegranates fruit, and Pomegranates juice great for getting the phlegm out of the throat.

Stop eating flour foods (breads, junk foods)

  • Yeah swine flu is no big deal. You know you have it when you get some general cold, your body defeats it then you get hit by a second wave of the crap. Should take a week to recover.

  • I "heard" in the future, they'll be small manufacturing businesses pop up around the country, selling locally. "Made in America" will be the theme of the day.

  • @rickster348 Im trying to avoid Chinese products whenever possible. If we want to save our way of life buying American when possible is a good start. It may cost more up front but it will pay off down the road. Id love to see small Mom & Pop buisnesses start popping back up.

  • rickster: I certainly hope so, that would be great!

  • Get well soon George!

Looking forward to the next reports. We all are!! But as the saying goes you can't finish the marathon unless you stop to have water. We have a long run ahead of us so we need you healthy. Hope you are resting, somewhat patiently. ;-)
